Know what, all those involved in these internal playground politics need to have a good fucking look at themselves and realise that most of us fans couldn't give a flying fuck about your dodgy dealings and ego contests. Get a grip of yourselves and start acting like adults for the best interests of our support or get yourself to fuck and let fans who are mature enough to deal with such positions take the reigns. Absolute embarrassment!

For any of you who believe that health and safety regulations mean that standing cannot be brought back i urge you to read this: http://www.saintmirren.tv/articles/20100923/saints-singing-section-update_2233570_2163454 St Mirren have also said that standing will be encouraged in this new section. If it was prohibited by health and safety then it wouldn't be happening. At the end of the day though, this needs to happen. There is too much tension in the stands currently with fans who want to sit and fans who want to stand. Safe-standing areas keeps both sides happy and will increase the atmosphere, interest in matches and gate revenue. Clubs who pay the price of installing the sections will see profits in the long-term.

The club don't want it sung. Our group and the UBs have already been threatened this season for starting it at Ibrox and have been told that Police will just start removing fans indiscriminately if the song continues to be sung in either section. It's all well and good saying "just sing it, they can't touch us", but when you are part of one of the groups you're going to be the first to be targetted and dragged out. They'll just slap a breach of the peace on you and you virtually never escape that charge. That's why it is more important than ever that the support is united and looks out for each other on a matchday. There are too many fans who would see another Bear get into bother and either sit and do nothing or help the stewards. Of course, at away games it is a different mentality entirely.

I used to enjoy debating in these threads, simply because i really did believe that in the future there could be a credible RST who had a good percentage of the support as members and held sway over the decisions of the club. Now, i just think it is a pipe dream. Everything has been said on the subject but nothing is ever done. Frankie is one of the only people who has made a concrete effort to promote unity amongst the support. Everyone else seems content with the way things are, despite what they may openly say on internet forums. My only hope is that the RST completely collapses so that a better Trust can rise from it's ashes. But when one or two individuals are using it solely as an ego booster, there isn't much chance of the them walking away.

And that, Danny Wilson, is why when you leave The Rangers the only way is down. Hope it hurts, money grabbing bastard.

Completely untrue mate. Just have a look during the next home game at the amount of Police and stewards posted in our section to see what the club thinks of us. We sing all of the old classics. Maybe in the beginning that was true, understandably in my opinion, as the group needed a foothold or they would suffer the same way the UBs do in the Copland. But nowadays the opinion of the club doesn't hold much sway within the group.
