  1. Credit to the guy again. He has shone this year amidst so much drivel and he deserves praise for the way he has kept his head up when things were at their worst and just kept doing what he is good at.
  2. I disagree. If PLG was only doing this for one game then his answer to the question of Barry ever playing for us again wouldn't be, "eet eez hard to say". And his answer to the question of him being put on the transfer list certainly wouldn't be, "I am not sure at this time". That sounds like a man who is desperate to completelty rid himself of his former captain abd i for one am not convinced by anything this man says.
  3. It has long been said by both Barry and David Murray that both are very good friends and speak in glowing terms about each other especially in Barry's autobiography. But today Paul Le Guen said in his interview that the Chairman was aware of the decision he was going to make regarding Barry Ferguson and he backed it. This ENRAGES me. David Murray brought that guy back from Balackburn, reinstated him as Captain and showed that they had a special bond between them. Barry acted the same way he did under PLG than he did under Eck. Yet now, because his manager who has his club in turmoil doesn't approve of Barry's personality, he decides it is okay to force him out of the club. That is a complete betrayal of a friendship and one that i have only come to expect from David Murray. A man that i worshipped for years but recently he has done al in his power to get away from Rangers and now he sees it ias if Barry is just more money to balance the books. It is a disgrace and should not be tolerated. If i was Bazza i would feel absolutely betrayed by this man. Am i the only one who feel thai way?
  4. In his half-hearted interview he pointed to the fact that Barry was having too much influence on the team. Sorry, but in this country when the captain can influence a dressing room it tends to be a good sign. Maybe he hasn't considered that he is making fook all influence on those players and is the reason they show no passion or commitment. Fergie was holding that team together. What now?
  5. He didn't choose this situation so good luck to the guy tomorrow and lets hope he doesn't make a fool of himself like he did against St J. I will support him bt as for PLG..........
  6. Did Prso tell you that did he? Another one of you pre-concieved rumours ideas?
  7. You may have heard it from various sources but you have not heard it straight from the mouth of Barry Ferguson and it is for that reason that you cannot comment on it as if you knew the situation back then. We now se your real oppinion on the guy but just don't pretend to be impartial when you are not. Tell me, do you really suspect that Barry done enough to warrant being stripped of the captaincy because that is one thing you have n't told us?
  8. But you can guarantee that the big man will go out there and give everything tomorrow regardless of what is going on. He loves this club and he shows it. I bet inside he will be guted that it has come to this and i am sure that given the chance and if his legs were not as bad then he would fight another season just to try and get us out of this. Dado Prso is a Legend to me just because of the amount he gives for this club in blood sweat and tears. Few foreigners can understand that but he has and he should be worshipped for that. I hope he gets us a goal tomorrow, not for PLG, but for the club he loves. (spl) Dado Prso
  9. Le Guen is simply demonstrating that he has no respect for the captaincy as he has said before. He doen't care who is captain, it isn't improtant to him. That is why he will just make a minor player captain.
  10. He has an agenda from long ago and is using this situation to peddle his anti-Barry views. It is not his views that are the problem just that he wants to come across as impartial when in reality he is anything but.
  11. Lets go for 10 out of 10 shall we. (lw) FT That other board.
  12. Explain to me what relevance it has to the current situation. I told you in anouther thread that the guy took painkilling injections for 5 months to try and help us get second place. Is that not loyalty? He stood by Eck last season when things were going bad for him. Is that not loyalty?
  13. And still you hold something like this against him. Yoy tell us not to make judgements and you are now making judgements regarding Barry because of what happened years ago. You do not know what his circumstances were back then nor do you know what happened behind the scenes in his personal life so you are making judgements that you know nothing about.
  14. Is that what this is about? Are you another of those narrow-minded individuals who still hold it against Barry for what he did then. He has admitted that he was in a bad state back then and that he has come out of that and realised where his priorites lie. You cannot question his loyalty to Rangers. He took painkiller injection every day for 5 months last season so that he could try and help Rangers get second place. Is that someone who doesn't hold Rangers dear? I don't think so.
  15. I got it from TalkSport and is the reason that i said to take it with a pinch of salt. They didn't say where they got it from and called it an "unconfirmed report" so that is why i called it a rumour. It justs sounds to me tha it could be feesible as both are big friends of Barry and certainly Durrant has made his feelings cear with regard to how things are going.
  16. What could anyone possibly do to warrant being stripped of the captaincy they love so dear. It would have to have been something absolutely terrrible done by Barry Ferguson to warrant this and quite frankly i do not believe Barry would do that to HIS club. No way. I agree though that the club need to comment. As i said earlier it is rumoured that DM is coming back from France and we will be told then.
  17. This is what i have suspected. It is a farce that the dressing room has been allowed to slide out of control like this. Going back to my original post, Jimmy Bell and Ian Durrant are big friends of Barry and massive Rangers men. Only something very untoward would make them walk away from their club. That scares me.
  18. Me too mate. It is good to read what he really feels about Rangers and i stand by him 100% on this. PLG has undermined his ability as a footballer and as a Gers fan by doing this and i will not stand by him after this.
  19. Oh God no!! You will have me up all night shaking now. <scared>
  20. Not so. Last season everyone was in it together. Now the dressing room is falling apart at the seams and it is because Le Guen is causing rifts with players and the players are getting at each other because some are trying and others aren't. It is not the way a football club should be managed and Le Guen has to take the blame. Nobody else.
  21. There is a mass walk out at every home game anyway. As soon as it gets to 80 mins the Subway Loyal make their feelings clear. Seriously though, i wouldn't walk out after going to a Rangers match. I can see alot of people just not turning up though. As for me, NO CHANCE. I am too blinded in my love of this club ever to stay away in protest. It is just the way i am. RANGERS TILL I DIE PLG GET TAE FUCK
  22. Signed. My mind is made up. This French nutter simply has to go. WE ARE WITH YOU BAZZA NO SURRENDER
  23. (beer1) (beer1) (lw) WE ARE STILL THE PEOPLE LE GUEN CAN NEVER TAKE THAT FROM US
  24. What good would it do? All you will get is the usual "We value your thoughts very much and will try to get back to you when we can". That website is a disgrace so there is no chance i will be writing to it. If they have a modicum of intelligence then they would know that we are not bloody happy anyway. And if the don't, then wait till tomorrow. <stabby>
