  1. Because 300 withdrew you assume some maybe headbangers? Why can't you just say it is probably because they are passed off at the team and voting with their feet (by not using them) as to what they think.
  2. This was the e mail I received after Rangers fans singing the simply the best chant with FTP in it. This is what we got fined for at Osasuna. I think it was Osasuna. After the game as well. The fans were locked in as per usual at theses games. The game was finished. Now, the word h** is deemed sectarian/raciist/offensive by NBM due to the fact it's supposed to be directed at Rangers fans, particularly Protestant Rangers fans. Now, the complaint I made was to see what Uefa would say regarding the tims referring to us as h*** during an offiical uefa game. Which let's not forget again, and I will repeat it for the hard of reading It is considered sectarian/racial/offensive. This is what uefa official replied. He misunderstaood the wording in the e mail I sent and this is his response. I wouldn't say h*** out of Europe would I? Then the important part is at the end.........."Take it up with the competent authorities in Scotland". In other words, uefa want nothing to do with it now. I took it up with competent authorities in Scotland...... No response. I am still waiting after sending 3 e mails and one posted letter. You have contacted the UEFA disciplinary services to complain about a song called “h*** away from Europe” that appears to have been chanted by Celtic supporters during the UEFA Champions League fixture between Celtic FC and Aalborg on 17 September. With all respect to your personal feelings and impression, the terms you object to do not appear to be connected with racial abuse or discrimination. Factually, the term “h**” has a historical background, notably in Europe. We understand that the chant "h*** out of Europe" might have been referring to the fact that their arch rivals, Rangers, did not qualify for the UEFA Champions League! Celtic fans seem to refer to Rangers as the h** (the enemy). Should you still consider the text to have a sectarian background, we recommend that you address the matter to the competent authorities in Scotland.

    Deadly Fruit

    I like both. Nice idea.
  4. What's wrong with the right sleeve of the top? It's a good idea for someone just learning PS though. Muck about more often and you'll be really good with this type of subject.
  5. Paying £40 for a ticket tonight, they better play good football and a winning one at that no matter the weather. Rather spend money in the comfort of a warm pub or save money alltogether by watching it at home. Been to many a European game home and abroad and thought one time, what the heck am I doing? Spending a fortune to watch boring football. Crazy to think at one time I didn't pay my rent so I could go abroad, gave up a job 'cos the boss woudn't give me 3 days off which I was entitled to, for a euro trip. He was a tim of course. Asking for £40 for games now, no way. It was worth it once upon a time, not now though. Even when the support musters up a great atmosphere, it is soon depleted by the tactics on the field. Only guy that puts a smile on your face and some hope in your heart is when Novo comes on. Only because he is a character. It isn't the same since Laudrup left. No skill, no entertainment, no frills. The weather has no bearing on the game as to it being an advantage or not. It does rain in Germany as well you know and they play in bitter cold climates compared to ours.
  6. Binghams, Lord Nelson, Local. All handy for the bus and subway to game or jump on one of the supporters buses from the pubs if you don't fancy get drenched on way to ground.
  7. Should get a bus no problem from the east end supporters buses. Or even any near Cambuslang. Get a Rangers news and go through the supporters buses pages and I'm sure you'll find one near you.
  8. I've ben looking at other pictures of the goalkeeper from other games, and like the majority of games he played for MD, he wore all black strip most games along with other keepers for MD. His socks are black. If they are blue, they are a very dark blue.
  9. I think on matchdays you have to arrive early as members only get priority when it starts to get busy. Especially on old firm days.
  10. It will be difficult, nigh on impossible, to know who wore those shirts. The subs alternated on numbers. One week Miko played in NO 12, next week it was Ally or whoever were subs on any given matchdays.
  11. There's got to be some colour pics out there somewhere as I have this one. Couldn't have been the only one taken that night.
  12. He always enjoyed interacting with the fans. Can you imagine that happening nowadays with any player? He always took a stick of wrigleys gum from my sister in law when he was playing at Ibrox. He inevitably always collected the ball for a shy and when he saw/heard her in the enclosure, she would have that stick of gum ready for him.
  13. What flag? helps if you post pics to let us know what you mean or are talking about?
  14. It was deffinately a black top and black socks. Will get to you on the colour of shorts if I find one of him in the full strip. Ref in picture I have is blocking out his middle body, only see socks and top of shoulders. His shorts were blue but not 100% on that, could have been red?
  15. Guess a number of you will be in Seville and not make the AGM. Great timing Rangers, eh!
  16. If Hearts didn't come out practically hacking every Rangers player on the attack, then this would never had happened. That was clearly eveident in Poyet and Bruno's behaviour at the onset with Pointon and co joining in. The Hearts players really lost it, not the ref. It spoiled what was otherwise a good game of football, when Hearts players were not trying to kick Gazza and Laudrup out of the game.
  17. A goal by Davie Cooper against Hearts at Tynecastle. Ran down the wing, took on a few players and scored from an awkward angle. That was pretty good.
  18. Still no mention of this in the offial Rangers website or FF :O
  19. Derek Johnstone, Cup final, scored even befoe official kick off time. Sorry. Not Ibrox.
  20. Loved the part when Sam says, I see parkhead every day and pray if falls down or something like that. Don't we all pal.
  21. Take Miller Strachan, I'll drive him to the airport.
  22. Please provide details of the UEFA report into the billy boys song. The full report is avalible online I take it you must have read it so please provide the link. I can only asume you have read the report, I am fed up providing this e mail as I said before, it has been posted on here, I posted it on Gersforum, and on vanguard bears. Trust me. uefa said it is up to the SFA/SPL to deal with such matters. They don't anymore to do with it basically. I made the same complaint to the SFA/SPL as I did to eufa and guess what. No response. Not a complaint really, just pointing why septic fans/septic fc did not get punished for singing offensive chants at a european match. Response was to take complaint to SFA/SPL as they do not deal with such matters. Don't worry. I still have said e mail tucked away for future reference if needed. I didn't say I have an e mail saying TBB is not banned. But I have not seen one that says it is? The point in the e mail I got from uefa was, that if offensive songs/chants are sung and cause offense, take it up with local football authorities, not uefa.
  23. Rangers won't turn it down whether he wants to go or not. Hutton didn't want to go either, but he went eventually.
  24. TBB is not "banned" We have been asked to refrain from singing. Fifa or Uefa say they would take serious implication if sung at european games. But when it came to the the tai.igs singing ra ra rhebel ditties, uefa and fifa say it's up to the local sporting association to deal with it. I have posted said e mail from uefa allready on many forums. Including this one over the year. Maybe that's why you are not hearing any more complaints from the media about it? So long as the t**** sing ra ra rhebel songs and the SFA don't do anything about it, they can't do anything about TBB, especially if you drop the "F" word for just Ugly/ scummy/cretin bassas, and stop the FTP. It will be fine. No need to change other words.
