  1. All journo's are appearing confident that DK will be back before the AGM.
  2. Excellent news for the neutral's like myself Let's move forward RM users (and wider online community). No more board vs Requisitioners, please.
  3. quite a silly rule when there's no demotion from the lowest tier at present...
  4. This is unacceptable. These British-hating cunts will do anything to justify their illegal legislation.
  5. He lost more than any other and he wants to fire money in again? He'll do for me.
  6. What about that midget from Edinburgh?
  7. I can confirm that in the part of Glasgow that we live in, 'spudillions' is in fact a word
  8. I can add a bit more as far as Mitch' is concerned. He's settling in very well with all the lads at Annan and really seems to be enjoying himself. The lads down there are very impressed with him whenever he's played, no matter what position he's been asked to play. Let's hope McCoist sees sense and gives him a new deal and guarantees first team football next season. If he doesn't, this is going to be a lad that comes back to haunt us.
  9. Leggo's recent two on Symon and Struth are excellent. Paul Smith's 'Rangers War Heroes' is excellent. Paul Smith also wrote Harold Davis' 'Tougher Than Bullets' which is probably the most amazing life story you'll ever read, as Eagle suggests above
  10. Ultimately, the club will decide when they create a membership scheme, and if it's the current board, it will raise funds for working capital and cost far more than £15 - we still don't know how they plan to raise money to get the club through 2014/15 without losing the infrastructure they've maintained so far. I wouldn't base any of your plans around what the club agree to, as if there's something to sell, they will sell it themselves.
  11. The cost of the education conference certainly varies
  12. I know you're fishing, but BS has never looked comfortable on RTV.
  13. Now you've said it, it sounds obvious. I genuinely don't understand these things.
  14. Until someone more intelligent than I can tell me that the club can continue to operate as it is today until ST renewal time, I cannot say whether the accounts look good or bad. I'm not clever enough to very roughly forecast our results for June 2014, but I think that's what we need to see to be able to decide whether the Rangers are safe from another insolvency event, as suggested by Dave King (I think).
  15. I don't particularly back the current board today, as I still don't know how the club is going to continue to operate as it is today until ST renewals in 9 months time (but I am no accountant and look forward to some form of forecast from 'the' boss), and some of their conduct in the past month or so is well short of what I expect of the Rangers board. I don't particularly back the Requisitioners, as their conduct during this recent period does not tell me that they should be on the Rangers board either. So with that in mind, I have to 'back the board' so to speak, as I don't have a better option available. Make sense?
  16. That 11mil included 4.5mil of ST money for 13/14.
  17. If I hadn't started work 15 mins ago I woulda gone all the way back.
  18. Immediately after the game yesterday I was attempting to remember the last time that the Rangers hit 8 (Eight) in a competitive game and I couldn't think of anything in recent years, so I took to the archives this morning dug out just the post-WW2 results (because I don't have all day and there's too many the further back we go). From my records... 18/2/1989 - Rangers 8-0 Stranraer (Scottish Cup 4th Round); I.Ferguson, Drinkell(2), Brown(2), McCoist(2), Walters 14/9/1983 - Valetta 0-8 Rangers (European Cup-Winners' Cup 1st Round, 1st Leg); Paterson, McPherson(4), McDonald, Prytz(2) - poor Valetta conceded another 10 in the 2nd leg. 15/8/1981 - Rangers 8-1 Raith Rovers (League Cup, Section 2); Jardine, Russell(2), McAdam, Redford(4) 20/9/1980 - Kilmarnock 1-8 Rangers (Premier Division); McAdam, McDonald(3), Redford(2), Jardine, Bett 26/1/1974 - Rangers 8-0 Queen's Park (Scottish Cup, 3rd Round); Parlane(3), Scott, Morris, T.McLean(3) 17/8/1966 - Stirling Albion 0-8 Rangers (League Cup, Section 2); Wilson, Forrest(5), G.McLean(2) 30/11/1960 - Rangers 8-0 Borussia Mönchengladbach (European Cup-Winners' Cup, Quarter-Final, 2nd Leg); Baxter, Brand(3), Scott, Millar(2), Davis 7/3/1956 - Rangers 8-0 Queen of the South (Division A); Kichenbrand(5), Simpson(2), Scott 17/9/1955 - Rangers 8-0 Hamilton Academicals (League Cup, Quarter-final, 2nd Leg); Scott(3), Prentice, Simpson(2), Hubbard(2) 14/11/1953 - Rangers 8-1 Hamilton Academicals (Division A); Waddell(2), Hubbard, Simpson, Thornton(3), Paton 15/4/1953 - Rangers 8-2 Airdrie (Division A); Grierson(4), Prentice, O.G., Paton, Young 11/4/1950 - Rangers 8-0 Cowdenbeath (Scottish Cup, 2nd Round); McCulloch(2), Williamson(2), Paton, Johnson(2), Rutherford 28/8/1946 - Rangers 8-1 Third Lanark (Division A); Thornton(3), Caskie(3), Duncanson, Gillick The thrashing of M'gladbach is the most impressive
  19. A 100% league record, with one acceptable performance out of eight. Yesterday's performance was the level that the Rangers should be meeting week-in, week-out. Mr. Struth would have been happy with "his boys" if they played like that - which they very often did. Everyone gave 100%, and that is the minimum standard when you play for the Rangers. There is no reason that those players cannot destroy Ayr United in the same fashion. The manager must ensure he demands the same level of performance out of them, and maybe then the manager can start to prove he has what it takes to catch Inverness CT and Celtic at the top of the Premiership in two years time.
