Watched the press conference and for me, Gerrard's comments regarding the loan manager and loanees suggests two things: 1. Some of our players out on loan are slacking and/or other clubs have lower standards than ours (otherwise why question 'are they eating alright, what time they going to bed?') 2. We are going to seriously exploit the loan system in the upcoming years, with both incoming and outgoing players.

Nor are we going to play shite and win most weeks. We will play well most weeks and win most games. We will play shit occasionally and still win. We will also play well sometimes and still lose. Its the nature of the game. My point is that winning is EVERYTHING at the moment. Winning ugly is just as, if not more important than winning with a swagger. Winning with style can follow.

So, when the various top teams complain about fixture pile ups at various stages of the season they’re talking out there arses are they? Every single sports person suffers from fatigue whether they are individuals or in a team. They’re only human. You see it as an excuse, I see it as a possible factor in the occasional dips in performance for a young team tasked with playing a high press game.

I’ve never had any problems with it to be honest. The commentary is pretty shit and the half time entertainment is grim but the streams have always been bang on.

This. Rangers had played 20 competitive matches before yesterday. Hamilton had played 12. Not to mention the games played with 10 men for 80 minutes and 9 men for 20 minutes. They're not machines. No great surprise they look slower in some games.

Exactly. Would obviously want to watch great football but all that really matters these next two years is results, performance comes second. Winning is everything.

Can’t believe some of the negativity on here following yesterday’s game. We won 4-1 away from home on a plastic pitch having played poorly. That is 4-1 FFS yet numerous players and tactics were shite. 4 -1 = plus 3 goal difference which could be crucial come the end of the season. I’d happily take a shite 4-1 win every single week. Some folk need to get a fucking grip.

Quite a shift from previous years. At Glasgow airport and in Spain I’ve seen far more blue tops than green and white. In fact I’ve only seen one hooped top over the last 3 days and at least 15 Gers tops, practically all of which were worn by kids. The tide is clearly turning.

I get the marketing aspect for Recaro, i just don't see why a footballer, coach or kit man needs to sit in a sculpted seat with a headrest! I can understand installing heated seats but what are essentially car seats doing in a dug out? Very strange. Why not go the whole hog and get a row of these bad boys installed ?

In terms of style, not performance yet (obviously), he is like a cross between Gazza and Barry Ferguson. Gazza, the way he can shimme past players with his quick feet (lead up to the Rapid penalty for example) but less direct and Ferguson because he is very good at retaining and keeping the ball moving, even if he still tends to favour going side ways. Outstanding young player who is improving with every game. Not only is he getting more game time, his team mates are getting a better understanding of what to expect from him. I very much doubt we’ll be able to sign him but hope to be proved wrong.
