  1. They cunts have Aberdeen next week. With a bit of luck that’ll be more points dropped ?
  2. Ditto...I’m fucked having a 5 min kick about in the garden with my 7 year old son
  3. Perhaps back in the days when full backs were defenders, now they are wingers, auxiliary midfielders and defenders all rolled into one. thank feck my playing days as left back are well behind me ?
  4. I’m guessing that last bit wasn’t aimed at me ?
  5. Fuck me....an assumed outcry over a projected deal on the suspected quality manufactured by a presupposed source! Has any cunt actually waited until they have worn a top before complaining?
  6. Some in here suggesting we couldn’t afford them all , which might be the case but.... Worrall was 5th choice at Forest so surely within our grasp and why would we need to buy Ejaria and Kent? If Gerrard has a close relationship with Liverpool and Klopp then they could just be loaned out for another year or two, especially if they are getting European experience. Win win for everyone surely. Players get opportunity to flourish, Gerrard doesn’t need to disrupt a (hopefully winning) squad, our board don’t have to shell out way in excess of £10m on the off chance players continue to develop and sold for a healthy profit, we can also strengthen the squad elsewhere with whatever transfer kitty we have and Liverpool have first dibs on recalling the players as an when required. Extended loan deals for the Likely Lads seem a no brainier to me, assuming they to continue to impress and are happy to remain.
  7. Think he is a stick on for new contract based on that quote
  8. Check the timings.... I pipped you by 60 seconds ?
  9. How the fuck did Jimmy Bell not notice Kent’s kit sash was upside down? Surely attention to detail is key for a kit man.
  10. Praise indeed from the high heid yin! “I love Andy Halliday. “When I came in there was a list of players. Some had ticks, some had question marks and some had crosses. “It was important to see them close up, eye to eye, in a few sessions, to see if they had the ability or the level. “At the same time, you are looking at them off the pitch to see what type of characters they are. Andy has just been perfect since day one. “It was a bit of a shock, really, from what I’d heard or read. His performances are getting stronger and stronger. “He’s almost like a captain in the dressing room. “In fact, he is the unofficial captain of this club. He glues everything together. “He helps the foreign lads a lot and he’s someone who cares about the club. You need these people about. “It would be naive of me at any stage of my life to judge someone with other people’s opinions. I like to judge people face to face. “When you come to a club this size you have to give people a chance, especially people that are supporters of the club, people who care and will give you blood, sweat and tears. These are the people you need about the place. Andy, in his head, thought he was gone and not wanted. “He probably felt the new manager would come in and not want him. “From the very first training session to the final whistle in Spain on Thursday night he has given absolutely everything. “I honestly can’t fault him off the pitch either, he’s been magnificent.”
  11. Am I missing something here or is there really 3 pages of mumping about a photo of a football top?
  12. Ah, I see. I’m not Tav’s biggest fan but just wondered if his distance covered correlated with his lapses in defence at the end of games. Having played football all my life, moving from midfield to full back then centre half, I would say full back was the most exhausting and taxing position. That were all.
  13. Was quoting ‘50 times’, (which as Rangers captain is his value to us, if not his actual market value). Even if his market value turned out to be significantly less, say 20 times what we paid, that is still a fantastic piece of business. Like you said, it’s all about where we are at the end of the season, not the start.
  14. 3 good posts on here which sum Tavernier up perfectly (I can’t figure out how to quote them from different pages): 1. Regardless of his defensive qualities he would be missed if sold. 2. He cost very little when signed, and 3. His current value is probably 50 times what we paid for him. Also, for all the goals against that he is held directly responsible, how many of them have come in the last quarter of games where he’s no doubt cunted having run himself ragged charging up and down the pitch? Anyone got his average distance covered per game stat compared to other Rangers defenders? Would be interesting to find that out.
  15. Gerrard oozes confidence and self belief without coming across as arrogant and/or delusional which is a pretty special ability to possess. He doesn’t seem to over complicate anything and clearly thinks first before speaking. The players must be absolutely buzzing working with him day in, day out. You can just tell he is destined for great things in his managerial career, hopefully with Rangers benefitting for a fair few years.
  16. Also, it looked like every Rangers player had cut the feet off the socks. First noticed it when Tav was treated for a tackle.. Pulled up his sock and it rose UP over his shin pad and he had another white socks under! Can't recall ever seeing that before. Maybe the Hummel sock are shite :)
  17. Ah, now that makes more sense. Thatll teach me for quoting from a mid string post. Carry on ?
  18. Not entirely sure of that statement’s relevance to be honest. It would be an extremely brave/stupid/sad man who would think to post Ntcham’s stats vs PSG in CL on Rangersmedia for no reason whatsoever.
