It has to change if we want to stick to the trading model we’ve being banging on about for long enough. The winding down of contracts will be less in the future I think going by Clement feedback about recruitment… roofe type gambles won’t be part of the plan.
We might lose a few gems in the future that you would like to see continue with us but we have to sell when appropriate regardless. -
He was a risk when we bought him with his injury record. Moving forward I don’t think Clement will take the same gamble with these type of players.

Looking at the age range Clement has brought in already he will probably be looking for young hungry forwards he can develop. The scouting has to be spot on to find these players. Need to stop throwing money at average players and expecting decent returns.

Not scored in 5 or something is it… anybody who’s not a little concerned with our options upfront at the business end of the season has their head in the sand. I only hope others continue to chip in with goals as we’ll need them.

Disappointing to go out. Lot of fight and work rate but little quality upfront. As good as Benfica were on the ball they have a soft centre we didn’t have the quality to expose. Onwards and upwards domestically 👍
