  1. Although I hope I'm wrong - Lyon 2-0 FGS: Juninho
  2. Brilliant, loved the old pictures - they bring back some great memories
  3. The Times have mentioned it mate. Guess who writes for The Times ...... Ronnie Cully ? Hmmm,.... not who I was thinking about!
  4. The Times have mentioned it mate. Guess who writes for The Times ......
  5. I speculate that it was O'Neill at Villa - afterall he valued Diddy Agathe at £29million at one time.
  6. Spot on. I don't know much about him, but I do know is he a tough tackling midfielder, which I think we needed. I said the other day that I wouldn't mind Hemdani leaving if we could bring in a tough tackling, Ian Ferguson-type of midfielder. We have that now. This was posted by Papa in the other thread! Tough tackling is one phrase we could use to describe him! Ha ha, it will be interesting to see him up against Nackered Moto and wee Scoot Broon .......
  7. Welcome to the Rangers family, big man.
  8. He's a young guy, with a lot of potential. We had a close look at him during a trial at Murray Park so Walter knows what we're getting. Good luck to the young man, and welcome to the Rangers family.
  9. "It is a mature mind that knows its own limitations." Wise words indeed, maybe he needs to learn from his own lessons .... hmm
  10. Totally agree, we set the standards for others to follow.
  11. I think we do have a few players who can strike a dead ball. It just seems that Barry is up for taking them all, nothing wrong with that - if its working. But last night we were poor with corners and free kicks. That's when I'd like to see some variation and the guys on the sidelines (Coisty, WS) should be changing things. No doubt we practice at Murray Park but sometimes it looks like too much of a rush - we can do better with what we've got IMO.
  12. Blah, Blah, Blah - just more of the trash talking.. Sounds more like a desperate man trying to hold onto his job (again), His team didn't score over 2 legs, they created some chances at Ibrox, less chances at home and none of the thrashings that he promised us last week. We've heard it .... :zzzz:
  13. It was 'horses for courses', we negotiated a successful way through what was always going to be a difficult, nervy tie. We did it, while it might not have been pretty, it was pretty effective - WS will have learned something about our strengths in Europe, and this squad has still to knit together - its so far, so good. We must now look forward to some great European nights at Ibrox, once again - we are back where we belong. :bouncy: :bouncy:
