  1. I'd heard about that course, it does look something special actually. I really grudge paying £160 for a round of golf, but Im gonna see if i cant round up a few folk and get a day round Kingsbarns. Thats properly impressed me.
  2. What a hole! That actually looks amazing.
  3. Aye man watching it. Is the 15th the one playing accross the sea? Looks a right bitch.
  4. The likes of Luke Donald, McIlroy, Dyson, Clarke etc are all up there, cant remeber the scores. I've played round the other two, obviously fantastic. Aye, they were expecting really big winds to tried to slow them up a bit, but the wind never go up THAT much.
  5. That course looked outstanding! Would love a chance to play a round. On the general play though, who do you think'll win it? I reckon Luke Donald or McIlroy'll do it.
  6. Thats amazing. His goal today was an absolute belter. Also, on the pen comment, it was a stone waller, but you do get the feeling it would have just been 7-3 instead. Aresenal were fantastic.
  7. Tomas Rosicky. I thought he was fantastic. Out for 21 months or something? Smashing player. I bet he'll be massive this season if he keeps himself fit.
  8. That was disgraceful. The linesman was literally 2 feet away from Lafferty when McManus knocked him flying. Either he was too scared to make a decision or he missed it. Either way he should never be involved in another Old Firm game. That was nothing other than plain cheating. McManus had a handful of Laffertys shirt and was pulling him back, then a two handed push on his back knocking him to the ground. Linesman who's no more than 2 foot away gives a shy. Cheat.
  9. He's only on loan Yes, but you can still put a clause in that says we can recall him at some point during the season.(Prob January) Because Untd would have told us to feck off if we did that. They need a CB for the season, if we said "aye you have have him, but if we need him back at any point we're having him" do you really think they'd have gone for it? If Rangers were calling the shots, then yes, Its not a matter of Rangers calling the shots. If we tried to put a call back clause in the deal they'd have moved on and got another CB.
  10. :mcgregor: :whittaker: :weir: :papac: :ssmith: :mendes: :davis: :rothen: :novo: :lafferty: The defence is worrying. The rest of the team aint too bad to be honest.

  12. We also knocked back a £4 million for Mendes in January... We constantly undervalue our players. Eventhough we're in a bit of a financial mess, i doubt we'd take a significant loss on any of you 'younger' players. I.E. Wittaker.
  13. I said in another thread if we had another capable CB i'd have him at RB with possibly Whittaker moving into midfield. I think they'd overlap quite nicely and both can fill in at the back when the other decides to move forward. McCulloch/Wier partnership is just too unstable though.
  14. Totally. He fully understands the importance of the situation and i've yet to see him have a poor game against them. He always gives his all, but on Old Firm day he has an extra spark.
  15. :mcgregor: An. Other. :bougherra: :weir: :papac: :davis: :thomson: :novo: :rothen: :whittaker: If we had another competant CB id be tempted to put Bougherra at RB. I just dont trust a McCulloch Wier partnership.
  16. Rothen was one of our better players. He takes the ball and relieves so much pressure. His dead ball deliveries to tend to be a bit floaty, but his crossing from open play is fantastic. Our strikers just dont make front post runs and i've never understood that.
  17. I think we'll do fine against Sevilla. We have players in the team that will rise to the occasion. They should be doing better against lesser teams, but the fact is everyone finds it tough to get up for they games. Chelsea/Wigan or Man U/ Burnley for example.
  18. He was in the wrong league here. You can argue all you like but fast skillful players arnt going to flurish here. I'd love it if we played fantastic free flowing football, with guys like Aaron taking on 3/4/5 guys and scoring a peach but the reality of it is he'd get hacked down by a Ross Tokely, a Zander Diamond or a Lee Wilkie after going past them once. And the refs are so poor here they'd get away with it. It really is a sad state of affairs.
  19. Don't get me wrong, we've not had that much quality there in the first place! He just doesn't allow them to see enough of the ball, and therefore end up fading out of the game.
  20. I think Papac is a major factor in us not managing to get a consistant left winger. He very very rarely gives the ball out wide. Alway cuts in and makes us very narrow.
  21. ” http://www.heraldscotland.com/sport/spl/ra...-south-1.921530 Do the likes of Fleck, Wylde, Wilson and Little count then? Seen as they are in the first team squad most weeks.
  22. If we throw youngsters on and we lose there would be an uprising. I would like to see us play a few, not flood the team with them. But i agree with what another poster said, we've not been in good form. We need our top players to get firing again. This is the perfect game to get both Miller and Boyd back scoring. To allow Davis to get back to controlling a game. Get Novo some game time. Get Thomson some much needed game time. You'll possibly see the likes of Beasley, Smith etc get games. I wouldnt play Wier, but McCulloch would play ahead of Wilson. He's our first choice cover so needs more competitve games in that position. QOS are a decent outfit, as seen in the cup final a couple of years ago. If we make too many changes we'd struggle. I'd rather we got a game against East Fife or something.
  23. ---------------Given---------------- -Johnson---Vidic---Terry---Evra- --------------Essien---------------- -------Lampard--Gerrard--------- Rooney--------------------Arshavin --------------Drogba---------------- Edit: To change Lennon for Rooney.
  24. Just goes to show though, outwith Given, the Man City defence is still utter utter pish.
