We played our best football with Davis in the middle and with Beasley and Novo on the wings. Davis should be a cert for a central midfield slot and Edu, Thomson and Big Lee should be battling it out for the other slot.

Last night was a bad game so lets hope that the teams had a wake up call and get behind them on saturday.

It was only a few weeks ago that he was up there for player of the year, he's being asked to play in positions which are not natural to him which doesn't help matters.

Like the way he's hounded on here? Commentators are meant to be neutral and unbiased. You can't compare the two.

Wilson's going to be (is) an important player for us and to consider selling him for £3million is shocking. I'd only sell him if the money was atleast more than double what's on offer.

The Radio Scotland commentators were a disgrace last night, the way they hounded Lafferty was beyond contempt.

The players thought that the league was already wrapped up, they had better buck their idea's up and come out fighting on Saturday. As has been said i would also consider dropping some players. LAst nights game was a disgrace, ok we can't win every game but the lack of effort is not good enough.

I'm listening to it on the radio so i'm not sure what's happening on the park but i'd take either big Lee or Thomson off for Beasley and move Davis in to the middle to start with.

I'm not sure if Boyd will stay or not as none of us know the full the story of what's going on behind the scenes at Rangers just now. Once the titles wrapped up i'd like to see Naismith and Lafferty or one of the younger strikers given a chance till the seasons finished just in case Boyd is off.

Who cares? As long as he does the business on the park then that's all that matters.

We really had no choice in who we played last night given our squad size, we should still have beaten United but it happens and the double is nearly in the bag. Once the leagues wrapped up i'd give our fringe players the rest of the season to show what they can do, most of them just need games.

With our small squad size we did the best we could have given the circumstances and the league has to come first. Walter smith called it right imo.

Oh come on to **** we're 10 points in fornt with 2 games in hand and have one cup already in the bag. We can't win everything ffs especially with a 20 man squad.

Another few games before we can claim the league but it's looking like we're pretty close to another double.

The game against Hearts was more important, they've given us 2 hard games already this season and 3 players were rested for it. We need the SPL title more than we need the Scottish cup and most people expected the Tims to beat St Mirren tonight. Miller and Boyd have both had injury problems and may have struggled with 3 games in 6 days. We had 3 central midfielders missing tonight so Naismith was asked to fill a role which he struggled with and with a squad of 20 1st team players a double is better than most of us could have hoped for.

DAvis, Thomson and big Lee being out was a real blow for us and Boyd, Novo and Miller were rested for saturdays game at Hearts which at the time was a must win for us as the gap could have been closed to 7 points. We got beat, we move on to our next game and aim for our 3rd double in 3 years.

Oh well that leaves us clear to concentrate on the league.

I remember the last time that Naismith played in CM against the sheep God help us.
