You say Mendes wasnt him usual self, but neither was Thomson imo. So it should Davis for me Before Wednesday night Thomson had only played 12 minutes of competitive football since last october, it's no wonder really that he was well off the pace, that will change though.

I would give the armband to Thomson or Davis before I gave it to Mendes.

thats the line up guys although naismith will have a free role ,with rothen switching right at times ,meaning davis ending up centre mid with mendes and thommo on the left ... It looks as if Weir will play though

I was against Alexander being dropped to accomodate McGregor but now that McGregor has been handed the jersey Walter has to stick with him, hopefully with a good run in the team and his mind purely focused on his game McGregor can reproduce the terrific form he showed 2 years ago. If he does we will have an excellent goalkeeper on our hands.
