I don't think I have ever been so disgusted and ashamed by a Rangers performance, Smith must take the lions share of the blame but the players should not be allowed to get away with that level of performance, serious questions need to be asked after that disgrace of performance.

How good are Seville/better than Real...

Sevilla beating Real Madrid gives a little bit perspective on the events of last Tuesday, it was in no way a disaster, we just got sucker punched by a very good team, no shame in it. -

aka chanting pro-terrorist filth for 90 minutes You are correct my man. Also please allow me to say this. The reason there were no IRA flags being flown yesterday at the game is that the last time one was flown at Ibrox the wee fenien serpent was took to the fucking cleaners. So, I allude to my original point, secterianism is a two way street and as soon as those in the media start to portray it as such I will continue my wee vendetta against so called journos making an agenda which doesnt exist. IE, that ONLY Rangers fans are secterian bigots. FTP !! Some Bheggar in the Broomloan Rear was flying the Starry Plough flag though (the flag of the INLA), the police really should be removing pish like that and whatever scum bag was holding it should get the exact same treatment that the dfb with the IRA flag last time round received. Glad you brought that up. Ive seen that flag a few times around the grounds, not just inside Ibrox. Let me tell you, its fucking unbelievable that not one journo/TV guy/SPL official in the stand has ever seen it. Only Rangers fans see this vile flag unfurl at football games. One way street indeed eh ? I can only assume that your average PC working at the games doesn't know what that flag represents. If they do know what that flag is and it still isn't being removed then that is fucking scandalous. You could look at it this way, at the next OF game at Parkhead, just imagine a Rangers fan pulls out a UDA flag, how long do you thing he would last before being huckled out. There are most definitely double standards at play and it stinks. -

Britney is at best a fantasist and at worst a liar, there is a high possibilty that the event he described never actually happened. -

I would hang the cnut -
He has the effort, tenacity, work rate and determination that any good captain needs. He is tough in the tackle, inspires his team mates and generally leads by example. Not to mention he is a quality footballer. The best candidate by a country mile in my opinion. Totally agree, you just put it across much better than I could have Also, he is very popular with the support

You say Mendes wasnt him usual self, but neither was Thomson imo. So it should Davis for me Before Wednesday night Thomson had only played 12 minutes of competitive football since last october, it's no wonder really that he was well off the pace, that will change though.

I would give the armband to Thomson or Davis before I gave it to Mendes.

I was against Alexander being dropped to accomodate McGregor but now that McGregor has been handed the jersey Walter has to stick with him, hopefully with a good run in the team and his mind purely focused on his game McGregor can reproduce the terrific form he showed 2 years ago. If he does we will have an excellent goalkeeper on our hands.
