  1. All we need is a shake up in Midfield, get Davis in the middle, Edu Starting, Two wingers and we'll do them.
  2. Pigeon, Pigeon, Pigeon, Pigeon, Pigeon to TBB
  3. This team and another performance like the one in December would do nicely.
  4. It's fair to say the Scotland squad will be the most talented group of players he's managed. If he can get something out of this Euro campaign, which would require consistency and good performances against the Spanish then yes maybe he is good enough to manage us. Time will tell how good he really is.
  5. Spot on. The Championship is a rip off, Premiership is way out of our reach, League 1 players go for as much as SPL players. Shame we only buy within the UK, our scouts are about as mobile as Steven Hawkins Bollocks, to be honest. What you're saying is that taking an SPL side's best player, and adding them to an already strong Rangers squad, would lessen the gap between the two teams in questions? Bizarre logic, that. Have you quoted the wrong person? Nobody has suggested that point of view, we are discussing value for money. If we went and bought somebody like Wallace or Driver we are looking at over £3million. Now even you must see that for that type of money, we could get more value for money looking outside of the UK. You must have quoted the wrong guy PG. Think you were referring to this post- If so I do agree this is bollocks. There are afew young guys in the SPL who would improve our squad, like McCarthur, as long as they are technically up to scratch I don't see how getting a good SPL player in as a squad player would narrow the gap. On what we were arguing- to find a player with the ability to improve our first team we would have to go abroad as the Championship and EPL are vastly overpriced.

  7. Two young Scottish players who would improve our side. Dorrans, but he'll be in the Prem next season either with West Brom or another club if they're not promoted. Steven Fletcher, Burnley look like they're going down, still wouldn't come cheap as they would be looking for some sort of profit on the £3M they paid for him. In reality we will not buy either player. One guy who I reckon we go for IF cash is available is Chris Brunt(Northern Irish aye but he's a Bear) we were linked with him last season, natural left sided player. I remember when the rumours were doing the round in the summer he was a popular choice on here, great striker of the ball, natural wide player and scores some crackers. Price would be an issue again though, as he was bought for 3m.
  8. I liked him, as a kid me and ma mates all looked up to him as our favourate boxer. Got me into boxing at a young age. I get how some of you didn't like him, probobly why he appealed to kids.
  9. Rangers best interests are to dominate Scottish football through holding on to our talent, coaching staff and developing youngsters- by doing so we win tropheys, gain money through Europe, funding further growth. Its no coincidence that the closest we've came to a takeover in this long saga coincideds with a period of what may turn out to be domestic domination. Success is attractive. Everything else the club is involved in must be to add to our ability to win tropheys. Debt and selling our best assets does not. Profitable ventures are needed- such as land re-development- or globalising the brand (US and Asian markets). We need a innovative business model- Rangers Football Club are a force right now and would only get stronger if Rangers the Business was able to fund the football.
  10. Definately the way to go about it IMO. If you take this years CL campaign, at Ibrox we had Sevilla on the back foot for much of the first half before the denied penalty when we went off the boil. Aye we were hammered in the end but that spell was a good example of how we should aim to play for the 90. We are underdogs in most European fixtures, we do have the quality of players to create chances against anybody so why not. By reaching the group stage of the CL we have in a way achieved what is necessary in the £10M, anything else is a bonus so why not go for it.
  11. i'll go along with that. just hope he can stay injury free. I agree, but if he shows he's got another level when called upon give him a shot.
  12. cunty chops spiers, don't pay any attention to him. He sucks T*rrier bobby.

  14. That Albertz goal, Mendes and Kontermans. If I had to pick one I'd say Albertz. Interesting looking back at the Albertz goal Andy Gray and Martin Tyler were commentating on the game, forgot how high profile we used to be on Sky.
  15. The appeal has to be, for him, his name associated with a big club, and, I would think he either has enought to get the development thing going, or, enough certain backers to do that. Its where the money is, and, the idea isnt new, and, no doubt Ellis has his ideas from a smiliar thing closer to his home Strangely similar to the "plans" that were announced for around Ibrox Don't see why that couldn't happen at Ibrox The area surrounding Ibrox is completely different to where Stamford Rd is located: who'd want to stay there, developed or not? As I've mentioned already in this topic Leith is a good example. Went from having a bad reputation, and now after regeneration is quite up market places. It would not be the first time.
  16. I've been wanting this midfield since Christmas.
  17. Ability to head a ball A controlling first touch Measured passing ability Manoueverability Spatial awareness Unpredictability Speed of thought Speed of movement Physical prowess Barring those two I would say he has shown all of these attributes. Fair enough he's a small dude and is never gonna challenge in the air but he is not expected to. Going by his form this season he has shown all these attributes, he's no Messi but he is good enough for Rangers. You honestly think Beasley has shown he possesses none of these attributes this season?
  18. Awright bawsack, I'll rise to it... how is it possible to "get smaller" when you jump? I know the analogy your trying to draw - but it loses meaning when you consider.. when was the last time you saw DMB challenge for an aerial ball and WIN! BTW, that was the only point between MB and KL you challenged me on?? poor show man... Velicka is a striker - correct - and he scores goals! So he DOES HIS FUCKING JOB! Unlike DMB - who doesn't. Byline anyone???? As for Dailly - ask ANY Manager, Coach, Scout in Scotland for the last 20 years in Scotland their opinion of Christian Dailly and you'll get a singular reply which centres around the guys professionalism and overall quality as a footballer. Not the 99% finished article in any position - but 85% for any of them and totally committed to boot. Give me 100 Daillys over your man any day I will have to agree with you on the fact Daily was a good player, not for us mind. He was over the hill long before he joined us, quality in his day. Funnily enough he is from Dundee
  19. Incredibly harsh... Only if being compared with Beasley's passing ability. You honestly believe he's the worst player you've ever seen at Rangers? Are you forgetting some of the garbage McLeish and PLG bought? And if we're just talking about Walter's signings, I could think of 4-5 that were worse since he came back. Name them. Kyle Lafferty, Steven Naismith, Kirk Broadfoot, Christian Dailly, Andrius Velicka... This guy is talking shit. Beasley is a MUST STAY. Mind his goal at Tannadice, his form at Christmas until he got injured, he has been good- and better than Novo- since he came back, and he is not just a good passer but a clever passer. you live in dundee FFS - what do you know about quality football? seriously - you guys dont know shit about decent players if yo ulike Beasley. But hey, you're welcome to your opinion. Just as long as yours doesnt worm its way into RFC management. Beasley will be off in the summer - thank f***. As opposed to Belfast? Im no from here any way but all that is irrelivant. You just have to look at form this season. What you need to do is take everything you said about Beasley and replace his name with Lafferty. I hope to fuck Beasley is fit and starting for us next season after a good world cup and Lafferty the 3.25 Million waste of money is off.
