I watched the Thursday evening news wrap on Rangers week....theres footage of a group of players doing drills, watched by Pedro and the Fitness coach. JJ is there too. There's a few youths i don't recognise along with Barjonas, Thompson, Hardie and Nemane. Herrera, Holt, Pena and Miller are also there. Now to me this looks like an extra sesh for players that haven't had much game time lately?! Or do we go with the usual negative hatred from scotlands media just before a crucial match

What the actual f. He's played about 55 mins of football, came to a new country, hes 21 and does'nt speak english. I thought he looked strong, has pace, quick thinker, good touch. Didnt get a sniff but that's down to us being unable to put a ball into his path without hitting a defender first. His dummy for Niko showed good link up play. These guys need time, it will be weeks, it will be August/Sept before we have 11 players ready and in tune with one another. We need to have patience but i know that's not our strong point.

to be fair to him the two matches he's started have been celtic and ross county. We created heehaw but he managed a goal against them with his only chance. Against county he didnt get a sniff of the ball. The first good ball in was just after he went off and MoH hit the bar. He needs a run of games before people start judging him. Im sure if he gets chances he'll score. I also think Waggy can score goals anywhere in the front line so can easily play both. Once we're playing well which we did on tues then the goals will come.

He's already showed more than those two ever did. It was a gamble by Warbs that didn't pay off. Niko has the quality if he gets a free role off the striker but we asked him to work hard and shut them down. That's not his game. I think he'll be used more from the bench but he's capable of the sublime. He'll create chances and score goals but he's a luxury player and with our midfield i dont think we can afford to start him unless we have energy around him. Something like this below.... Hey, bit late but i'm working in Sydney for a few weeks and hoping to catch the match tonight. I've heard the Aurora Hotel is a RSC? Any other ideas of a pub to watch? I watched the highlights this morning as i'm in Auckland now, I then rewatched the 3 goals again. Keirnan was at fault for 1 and 2 and didnt do enough at 3rd. 1st - he doesn't go with runner leaving Hill to mop up but its never a pen imo. 2nd - they pass thru midfield too easy, Hill steps out to play offside as Tav/Wallace are out. Keirnan stays deep playing Gray on. Step out he's offside. 3rd - big lump up, Hill challenges but loses header however Keirnan should be following the runner or atleast closing him down quicker. He doesn't, wallace come across but makes a weak tackle. All 3 of them could have done better here. We've all been saying defense is weak, we need a commanding CH.

Nice....i thought this myself about the home shorts but i had a look and there is a slight change. The "Puma" is red instead of blue, there was a red square on the inside leg last season, that's no longer there. There's also a red trim down the side of the blue stripe. Small difference. Lazy bastards.

Will be good to see this team when everyone is match sharp! I liked the positions Barton got into and it will help our defence this season. I watched some of Rossiter for Eng u19s and he seems to play a similar way/role and likes a tackle. Someone like Barton will only approve his attributes.

Squad is good enough to win these cup games, it's still early. League is priority

As someone else mentioned we've also lost Ball, Gideon and Billy King. Gasparrato wasn't really involved with the squad and obviously we have the likes of Murduch, Crawford and Walsh who've returned. I don't see those three being involved much tbh. I Still reckon another striker, winger and CH in. If any loans come up later then great.

They got beat 2-0 the other night and he got 15mins. Theb then played again yesterday and he played 60mins as captain and they lost to a late goal. Its a warm up game for the u19s euros that start next month. We'll likely not see him in a rangers jersey until end of july as the final is the 24th July.
