Aye thats probably true. I can see Walter getting a few loan deals in, even though he has stressed he isnt keen on that kind of deal. Do you think, prior to our involvement in the ongoing negotiations with Jelavic and his club, that if we knew we were willing to fork out around £3.5m on one player, would they originally have focussed our intentions on him, or are we just so involved in the transfer we feel we cant give up? We are NOT short of centre half - remember when we originally signed Papac, and also Broadfoot, they were 'centre halfs' for their respective teams. Therefore we could shuffle players around to situate the positions, bringing Whittaker into the equation.

I remember when i was wee, going down to the front of the West Enclosure (still standing) just at kick-off time v hibs, they had the front of the Broomy, and i was standing right next to the tunnell as the teams came out...and the hairs on the back of my neck and arms stood up... the noise was unbelievable!! Nowadays, Rangers v hivs consists of a couple of songs (this is at home i mean) then sitting on your arse for most of the game. Standing was the best way to watch a game. Despite the potential 'dangers' etc, there are ways of monitoring it, so i say bring it back and bring back the atmosphere to the ground. For serious debate - Radio Clyde. For light hearted banter with debates - Real Radio. I am the same as a lot of folk i know, who would listen to Clyde til 7pm then switch to RR. I always get the feeling that, regardless of what we know...Clyde normally have more 'inside info' on the Old Firm via DJ and Keevins etc, whereas Euan and Roughy pick their side of an argument pre-broadcast so that they never agree on the same thing...resulting in much higher quantity of callers. they aint as daft as they look/sound! Personally if i want to know more indepth detail about the football i listen to clyde. If i cant be arsed listening to Keevins talking thru his nose...i switch over. If i cant be arsed with either of them...i go to the big white machine in the kitchen, open it, and lift out a cold can!!!
