I think I'll just start a "Thanks for clearing that up, GS" thread, save a lot of time

I don't know if he is one of us, but he seems pretty dismissive of their bizarre ramblings. With regards to Kennedy, I too would rather that he didn't try and demean other bids and bidders, but I still think his statement was largely okay, considering it was meant to only be a brief update for fans, on an informal fans forum.

As if to add more confusion Does this just mean TBK are back, or is it another bidder???

The decision is not coming from HMRC, but the First Tier Tribunal judges have as long as they need to make a decision, so theoretically it could be months yet . On your other point, I agree, I think the best case scenario for us now would be a minor loss, in the region of £10m, one where the issue would be sorted, but we should hopefully be able to agree a CVA, as opposed to the potential for further months of uncertainty. The short answer is that I don't think anyone knows when a decision will be forthcoming, other than those directly involved with the FTT

Cheers. I can still see a last minute deal being done between BK and TBK to be honest. I know that Kennedy has previously said that he is not keen on consortia, but if it gets that desperate then I think there will be a deal to be done.

What was Kennedy's original bid? I seem to remember that it was very low, so much so that even if he doubled it, he would still be out of the race...

I feel like I am missing something with The Blue Knights, have they submitted a new bid, and if so is it with or without Ticketus. I know there was all that stuff about the Record last night, but I missed the outcome.

I agree, from all those who have come forward, I like the sound of Kennedy the most, we will just need to see what a "substantially improved" offer means in cash terms, and whether this will be enough. Fingers crossed
