  1. As far as I am aware though, the RFFF isn't officially affiliated with Rangers, so it would simply be a group of fans taking it upon themselves to pay the clubs smaller debts.
  2. I don't think we would be in Div.3/2 or 1 long enough to make any sort of meaningful difference to the success of those leagues. The SPL would suffer from our absence, but the SFL would probably only see a short-term boost from our participation.
  3. Not for me, I won't be giving them £42 any time soon
  4. For those of us who don't get the Sun?
  5. I think all of that kind of stuff is on the backburner right now tbh.
  6. I couldn't care less, right now I will be delighted if we are still going next season in our current form, with no further sanctions. A couple of years of rebuilding will be a more than acceptable price to pay for our long term future.
  7. I can't see Chelsea winning at the Nou Camp, but they have a great chance of qualification over the two legs.
  8. He has been fantastic since coming into the setup, and the best compliment that you can pay him is that he has not once looked out of his depth, which for a young lad playing in the centre of the park is very impressive. If Ness can get over his injury problems, the combination of McCabe and Ness has a huge amount of promise for the coming years. On a more general note, it is encouraging to see that of all the youngster that we have blooded over the last few years, I cannot name one that has ever let us down. With the likes of Fleck he could never realistically live up to the hype, but we are hopefully beginning to see Auchenhowie bearing fruit.
  9. No, if we had made it to the group stages it would just have given Whyte more money to steal from us
  10. I agree. I can understand the business sense in going down the newco route, but his whole ultimatum on SPL sanctions is ridiculous and unless he changes his stance on that, then his bid is destined to fail. Just hope that TBK can get a bid in that can beat Miller's in cash terms.
  11. Well done Derek, hope he gets a shot at the Rangers one day
  12. I love the Thomson one, the tackle itself is very good, but its the pushing him to the ground as he runs away which makes its fantastic
  13. Douglas Park is one of them, I also think there was one called Ian Harte (not that one) http://forum.rangersmedia.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=214133
  14. "So Paul would you rather be Rangers adminstrator or have a terminal illness?"
  15. I agree with the sentiment, but for TBK to be ultimately successful they need to fill the gap in their funding somehow, and if thats not Kennedy, the Ticketus make sense. On top of that, depending on our liability to HMRC, Ticketus may be able to block a CVA so in that sense it may be better to have them on side.
  16. When a commentator says that so-and-so has a "cultured left/right foot". What the fuck does that mean, does it have a box seat at the symphony or does it enjoy fine dining . No it just means, that they are good at kicking the ball with their good foot, which quite frankly is the least that you would expect
  17. I can understand how some would feel that the link between "old" and "new" Rangers had somehow been broken. However, given that we will keep our history, our records and will continue to play in Blue, White and Red at Ibrox then for me it would be regrettable that we had to go to a newco, but it would certainly not change my passion or my level of support or love of the Rangers.
  18. It would be difficult for me intially, but more just sadness about the situation that we have found ourselves in. However, provided that we were playing at Ibrox and we maintained all of our glorious history I would continue to follow Rangers and have the same passion and support that I have for them just now.
  19. There is no chance that Miller's terms will be met, so unless he is willing to revise them before Monday, then his bid is doomed to fail
  20. The thing is that aside from the £14m we don't actually owe HMRC anything yet. As it stands our largest creditor is Ticketus. But as far as I know, whilst we are in adminstration, and before a CVA is sorted, our creditors can't ringfence any money due to them anyway by claiming that they are owed £xm. It goes into a central pot which is then split amongst the creditors at whatever rate the creditors accept for pence in the pound.
  21. They need to get Kennedy on side asap, as well as Ticketus, who may be easier to deal with now that Ng has dropped out and Miller has made it clear that he wasn't going to deal with them. Unless Miller's conditions about possible SPL sanctions are revised then his bid is destined for failure anyway.
  22. I have said it before, I go to Ibrox to watch Rangers and Rangers only. I don't go to see Rangers vs an SPL side, so if we were to take the Div.3 route, it wouldn't change my mind one bit, I would still go to Ibrox to see the Rangers, it wouldn't bother me who they were playing. After all if it was great football against great teams that I wanted to watch, the SPL would not be my attraction either
