Papac was solid. McGregor didnt have much to do but did everything comfortably. Broadfoot deserved the MOTM award ahead of Papac IMO cos he saved weir's arse a number of times and kinda kept us in the tie by not conceding the away goal.

Lafferty didnt play against Clyde. Dont know about Morton tho, but i dont think so. Edit: He did play against Morton. Came on for Boyd in the 62nd min

A zimmer frame wouldn't have been out of place the way he played in tonights game. Jobs for the boys i guess but he was gash.

Championship players are expensive and most of them over rated. If he looked a little further afield then with the same or similar money available could see us getting a few really top drawer players. Only my opinion, i know there are few Championship lovers out there, but i genuinely think it is an over rated and overly financed league with mostly very average players.

If Shittu or Loovens get signed then who is dropped?? The captain or the King?? Either Cuellar will be sold or we are not buying a CB imo...

I dont think Celtic will spend much this summer to be honest. Yeah they are linked to lots of good players, but they wont actually sign them. Rangers will spend double the money Celtic will, but because only 1 or 2 of the 6 or so players signed will be good enough, we wont see the the benefits of spending the £10m or whatever that eventually gets spent. Back to the fact that if Walter chose the correct players, then such problems would not arise. As for comparing us to Bolton, well they have waaaay more funds available due to being in the EPL, but thats another story for another day.

It is Walter, not Murray or Bain that should take the fall for the player purchases. He bought his fair share of idiots last time and is doing the same this time. Shouldn't be much of a surprise unfortunately.

I thought he played well today. If anyone was the weak link in the CB role then it was Weir. I was sooo surprised and i have NEVER been a Broadfoot fan, but genuinely he was our best player today.

To be fair i don't think Smith and his team would have heard of half of these players. They seem too involved with the current squad that the don't have a clue about whats going on in other leagues. Its really weird but i do honestly believe that some football fans know more about foreign players than the some of the managers in today's game.

Getting rid of Cousin and JCD and bringing in Purovic would be a sound piece of business IMO. Boyd, Lafferty, Velicka, Miller, Novo and Purovic would provide some serious striking options. Obviously Walter will only play one at a time though lol

Thuram has an other year left at a top level at least. Look at Maldini, he is still playing (albeit not up to the same standard) and he is 40 now. Cuellar and Thuram at the back would be awesome!

Sasa deserves to be rangers left back next season. He is very solid and should stay

Nobody else think that Reynolds is way too small? He like 5'11 and 10 stone or something! maybe thats why Motherwell lost so many goals at set pieces last season! He is a midget compared to most other CBs Berra is at least a bit stronger in the air.
