  1. I'm with you I would play for Rangers for nothing just to play at Ibrox.
  2. Agree 100%. We were lucky we had only one penalty against us. But Mcgregor, Miller and Davis were magnificent and we got three desperately needed points.
  3. How can any Rangers supporter ever again doubt Kenny Miller after his performance today. Ran his heart out and scored two great goals. In a game that from a football point of view was absolute rubbish, back to the old bash it up the park and see if somebody can get on the end of it. Absolute shite.
  4. here here At last some sense. I read post after post on this shite kickin the shite out of everything about Rangers. Sure maybe in a perfect world we could be like Man City or Chelsea and be bought by some billionaire, then we could buy class players and compete against anyone in any competition but sadly the truth is we don't have any money and we just have to accept that players do have off times when they don't produce their best, but thats life when you really are a small fish in a very big pond.
  5. Jimmy Millar , Ralph Brand, Willie Henderson, Jim Baxter, John Greig, Davie Cooper. Great memories great players all scottish those were the days when we could compete.
  6. Too right for all those reasons. But Whittaker was rubbish. It has only highlighted what has been said on this site all off season we need some decent defenders. Their speed and movement just took us apart.
  7. I've heard that said so often but never justified. What is racist about it? It seems it's easy to justify in today's Scotland. You just apply the same rules as were used for "Why don't you go home" and get Celtic fans to say that it is, and you suddenly get judges agreeing that it is. thers a line in it that say rebelious scots to cruch but this refers to the highlander jacobites of the time who were causing trouble and were also RC in the main even though a lot of clans had become protestant and fought on the government side a culloden sorry - just read the rest of your statement.... you dont really know what your talking about here - the jacobites were a mix of catholics/protestants - not catholics "in the main" - and anyway, what the fuck does that have to do with what went on at the time?? Our country got raped back then by the english who couldn't stop doing what they'd been doing for centuries before - colonising every spare bit of land they could find and then treated it like they believed it was theirs and generally behaving like a bunch of fucking colonising thugs. You want to celebrate that kind of history? be my guest. Does that make me a Tim? The way i see it - religions has nothing to do with it. I'll leave it to the bigots and morons to slap the labels on. Great post! English/ British governments in the 18th and 19th centuries did exactly what the good old US of A does today. What a load of shite. The English goverment then raped and pilleged there way through countries. I would hardly call toppling a tyrannical dictator and removing the Taliban the same would you? Yep a tyrannical dictator they put in there in the first place because it suited them at the time and they haven't removed the Taliban thats the problem but they are only there for their own agenda. If they were so good why have they done nothing about Robert Mugabe talking about tyrannical dictators. Why did they practically have to be forced to get involved in Yugoslavia a few years ago, Simply because there is nothing in it for them.
  8. I can't understand anyone who is scottish not supporting the national team, regardless of who is in charge or who is on the park. Rangers are my team. I was born in Scotland but now live in Australia, I am an Australian citizen but in my heart I am still Scottish and the first thing I did this morning was log on to UEFA.com to see if we won.

  10. Sorry, Mr Peat. You've seen Kris Boyd miss a few open goals from two yards before? I wonder if he could back that up. I'd really like to see that as well!!! If stupid Burley had put Kris on instead we wouldn't be in the situation we are in now.
  11. Seriously, who gives a fuck about anything Crai Burley says. He always was a total wanker and always will be.
  12. But maybey Murray wanted to do it his way with his guys. Now Alistair Johnson is the Chairmen he might start Bringing some rich american guys over here, & you never know. Having Alistair Johnson will change absolutely nothing at our club. Murray is still in charge. Bain has been running the club on his boss's say-so for several years now and will continue to do so. The only thing that has changed is that Murray has publically severed himself from the firing line, he has created an impression that he is now seperate from the club, conveniently before bad financial and debt figures are released, and before the extent of our current cost-cutting starts to bite on the park. Much the same as he did when McClelland was made chairman, only things got so bad he had to return which he won't do this time.......... Exactly. SDM is still majority shareholder and Bain is his little BITCH so until someone or a group with a lot more than 20M to invest can come in and buy out SDM, pay of the debt and still have about 100M to invest not much will change. Sorry to be negative but thats reality.
  13. It's a unitary state where Her Majesty's Government the Parliament of the United Kingdom remains supreme. For the individual countries within the United Kingdom to have equal sovereign power it would have to be a federal state. Scotland does again have its own parliament as does NI albeit still controlled by the joint parliament at Westminster. There is only one sovereign who is descended from the Stewart royal family of Scotland even her mother was Scottish. Scotland is still recognised as a sovereign state.
  14. Manticore its obvious you have a real phsycholgical problem with anyone who disagrees with you. Because your stock answer is you must be a timmy. Just to keep you informed I am not a catholic, I am presbyterian and I despise the IRA terrorists who murdered anyone who did not agree with them branding them proddy's etc does this have a familiar ring to it. You seriously need help the war is over for the most part and its only bitter and twisted idiots on both sides who keep fanning the embers.
  15. I'm pretty sure The Battle of The Boyne happened in the UK...... The United Kingdoms is not a country. The Battle of the Boyne happened in Ireland another country. Of course it is you ignorant twat. It has been for 302 years now, check your history books. Do you have the worlds only Scottish passport? You are the ignorant twat the terminology is United Kingdoms plural. The island is Britain made up of three separate nations England, Scotland,Wales and Northern Ireland. The union of the crowns in 1603 or the Union of parliaments in 1770 at no stage did away with the separate countries that is why today FIFA still recognise all four of the nations as separate entities. Have you yet seen a British team in the World Cup. Bloody banana benders you need to stay out of the sun.
  16. Bit of a contrdiction there love! They don't get it at all do they. Whether they like it or not Ireland was not a foreign country then, and the northern part is not a foreign country now! Ireland is a foreign country thats why its called Ireland, not Scotland or England. You must be one of those muppets who like Scotland to be known as northern Britain. What you on about? Never heard anyone use the term northern britian in my life. We are British, whether you like it or not. Around the time of the Union of Parliaments there was a push by some anglophiles who thought Scotland should be renamed Northern Britain. I was born in Scotland therefore I am Scottish, yes and I know as Scotland is part of Britain collectively we are British. But until Scotland is no longer a seperate nation and the whole island including Ireland becomes one country known only as Britain, Ireland is a separate country and classed as foreign ( look it up in the dictionary ).
  17. I'm pretty sure The Battle of The Boyne happened in the UK...... The United Kingdoms is not a country. The Battle of the Boyne happened in Ireland another country.

  19. Last year there was serious doubts about the signing of Edu. But after a good run of games in the first team he really blossomed into a good midfield player. Given some more games at top level Fleck will develop into a top class player as will Aaron given a run.
  20. Yeah good post, Regardless of our financial position with rumours of SDM selling and WS retiring at the end of the season or earlier as some would suggest, Rangers need someone or a group with the neccessary money to clear the debt and have enough money to buy the players we need to compete in Europe. It is still conjecture but if the OF are to go into the EPL or whatever they will call it we will need money to be successful. We will struggle to challenge at any decent level in Europe until we can attract quality players and that again means money.
  21. Goram Shearer MacKinnon Gough Robertson Henderson Greig Baxter Cooper Brand McCoist Bench : Mcloy, B. Ferguson, I Durrant, C Stein
  22. It would be nice if it were true. But I hope he has a lot more than 20mil lined up because he will need it to pay off the debt and bring in some decent players.
  23. Not to mention Preston, Cardiff, Derby and Burnley! Total shambles! That answers all the questions. Scotland as a nation are no longer producing the quality of players we used to. Thats why they are playing for shite teams because they are not good enough to play for Rangers. Man U, Liverpool etc. CANNOT MAKE A SILK PURSE OUT OF PIGS EAR. Disnae matter whether they're tims or prods if they've got two left feet with all big toes they canny play football, regardless of the dick head manager.
  24. Yes!!!! Its nice to positive backing for the team a week before the season starts.
