  1. Nothing at all like the Lafferty incident which was embarrassing Miller lashed out in frustration after losing possession and I do think he made contact, how much I'm not so sure, but there doesn't have to be contact, only intent. Does anyone have a clip of this incident? its on bbc, you can clearly see dods pulling miller to ground, miller trying to get up, dods pulling at him then dods flying down as if a sniper had shot him and miller looking bemused Kenny Miller is innocent, why was there discrepencies between the ref and linesmans stories????? coz they didnt see what they thought they saw, thats why! they were too busy looking for a reason to get miller banned for the celtic game, they missed or ignored dods cheating. Grow up If you haven't seen the incident you don't really know what you're talking about, do you ? I watched it live on TV and so it replayed over and over. At first view ( the refs view ) it did look like KM did kick him but on second viewing its obvious he didn't but he did throw a punch in his direction although I don't think that connected either. But the intention was there. You can see it on Utube on this site on another thread. Arab TV or something like that. AS has been said KM should have known better.
  2. Oh FFS you poor bitter twisted little man. I f they didn't exist who would you pour your bile on then.
  3. Barry in his post surgery form definately. Mendes will remain to be seen how he recovers. But pre injury can you imagine him and Davis in the centre of midfield with Novo and Beasly wide the midfield would be devastating.
  4. McGregor Broadfoot Weir Wilson Papac Beasley Edu Davis Novo Boyd Fleck I haven't included McCulloch in the midfield because I think he's too easily baited and I think Celtic"s only hope of beating us is to upset our midfield. I also believe both Wison and Fleck deserve a chance to prove they have whats needed in a Rangers first team.
  5. Yep Setanta still show the SPL games here in Australia minus all the experts bumping their gums before the game and at half time.
  6. you are kidding aren't you!!! Why would you change the set up that has transformed us over the last five games, in what could be the most important game yet. If KM does not play then why not bring in Fleck to partner Boyd up front which is his favoured position. You don't change a winning combination unless you absolutely have to.
  7. You have got to be kidding. Craig was a great player for us but unfortunately he is way too old now. I watch him nearly every week in the A league and he has lost heaps of pace, the only thing that saves him is his experience and positional play. If we want a player from the A league Moores team mate young Tommy Oar is worth a watch, genuine left sided attacking midfielder bags of pace and is only 18 or 19.
  8. Yeah ok one game at a time. But given no injuries why would you change the formation. Celtic's defence is rubbish at the moment so why would you go one up front.
  9. Here we go again! There's always somebody who has reliable sources. Boogie has said repeatedly he doesn't want to leave Ibrox and yes I know others have said that just before walking out the door, but can we try not to cause disruption in the camp before it actually happens. because WS has already said we will not be buying any new players, so why allow our best centre back and our best striker go if you are not going to replace them.
  10. Couldn't agree more an awsome midfield.
  11. Just finished watching a replay of Hearts vs The Bhoys and wasn't it fantastic to see them playing such utter shite. Hopefully they won't improve between now and 3rd January and we will slaughter them, oh how good is life.
  12. Yep good memories. Lifeboys was in Victory group, 1st Torrance BB. Still got all my badges and I am 62 as well, in a wee box with my Rangers cufflinks I got when I was 14.
  13. I haven't seen the boy. But if he's half as good as Slim Jim, get him in the team now!!!
  14. Exactly so why do we expect anything else from this little gutter rat.
  15. Who the hell are you to attack a Rangers legend, someone who is Rangers through and through. Which is a lot more than can be said for the morons you appear to be protecting. Rangers need this latest episode like a hole in the head and Ally as assistant manager has every right to criticise the idiots who carried on with the violence after the original incident had been sorted. What really gets up my nose is the morons on this site, who straight away resort to labelling anyone who dares to criticise the mindless thugs who pretend to be Rangers supporters, as Tims, ira supporters etc.
  16. Unsure on that, the "too many cooks" phrase also springs to mind As opposed to the situation at the moment where one man is dragging the club down Every ship needs a captain and every company needs a boss. Consortiums don't always work. But the boss needs advisors who no what they are doing, but there has to be someone having the last say.
  17. Good field but as the General says I feel there is an outsider who has not declared as yet still on the warm up track. But I would like it sorted way before January.
  18. I know that. I also know that none of us will become Rangers manager but I was just interested in the opinions of the more knowledgable members of this forum as to who they think would be good buys for the club.
  19. If you were given the job as Rangers manager who would you buy. Without being stupid lets say maximum of five million per player. Young players from any of the world leagues that would be willing to play for us. maximum of six players.
  20. With the injuries we are carrying right now Walter may have no choice but to play some of the young kids. They may at least show some commitment.
  21. We have basically the same midfield that last year was being hailed as the best in the SPL and as good as many in the EPL. Davis, Edu, mendes and Thompson. What has changed besides the results ok Edu has been out injured as has Thompson and Mendes. Which begs the question are they match fit, are they still carrying injuries or is there something going on in the background that we are not being told about, rumours about the club being sold to who or what we don't know, WS and Ally out of contract in the summer rumoured to be leaving, no money for new players. Have I answered my own question, if we are downheartened by all this talk, maybe the players are as well.
  22. You know the most worrying thing about this thread and most of the posts is, HOW COME MOST OF THE PEOPLE POSTING CAN SEE THE PROBLEM BUT OUR MANAGEMENT TEAM CAN'T. There have been suggestions made re player positions, team formations etc that make sense to me and obviously to a lot of other fans yet management don't try any of them. Before the season started we tried 4-3-3 with good results but have we tried it in the SPL, have we fuck. Not only does every player in the current squad have to take a good long look in the mirror and ask themselves do I deserve the wages I am being paid, am I good enough to be a Rangers player because IMO on their performances this season there is not one of them are good enough to wear that strip. But also the management have to look at what they are putting on the park every week. Ibrox gets filled every home game by loyal fans who have paid fucking hard earned money to support our team money that goes towards their highly inflated wages if we as workers turned that type of performance at work we would very soon be out on our collective arses. So yes we have the right to be negative we have the right to complain about performance from the whole team management included. Muff said simple football pass and move basics that we all learned as kids playing in the park. Why can't so called professional players do that even. St Johnstone were robbed yesterday. We with a lot of luck stole three points against a team, as others have said, we should have just rolled over. As has been said on other threads if just being better than Celtic is our barometer we had better get used to this shite because at present we are better than them.
  23. Lets hope we can put that game to our worst performance of the year. Injuries and reshuffling the pack aside, the players on the park are well paid professional football players, playing for the best club in the world. Their passing and movement was pub team level and they should be ashamed to take their wage packets this week.
  24. Agreed. Samuels was cutting our defence to shreds in the first half with his speed. He was targetting that left side because Papac was always off trying to be a midfielder and Davie is getting slower, Papac should have beem sitting on Samuels from the off. Definitely a weak link at the back.
  25. Thank God for Muff always hits it on the head.
