  1. I'm not on Twitter, mate. I wrapped it when my Twitter & FB accounts were hacked; both by Rangers fans, sad to relate. No way will I risk going to Bar-L for a tasteless joke posted by someone pretending to be a friend.
  2. I believe the Tweeters who mentioned the school in question may have found it from the chap's FB account. It sounded (then and now) like the ex-RC pupil was making a poor attempt at crying, "I've been victimised".
  3. Contrary to the other poster's claims, it's entirely true that Carmody has used Twitter to excoriate those who criticise Scotland's single-faith schools. He once entered a Twitter debate (uninvited) to take issue with a critical mention of RC schools, backing up his statement "as someone who attended one for 11 years". Having offered this information readily and unprompted, he and his rather strange collection of online friends subsequently expressed utter revulsion when other Tweeters named the school he'd attended. The allegation that someone claimed he was the victim of sexual abuse at school is a complete lie. A tasteless joke was made by someone hacking/borrowing a Twitter account comparing Carmody's opinions to a priest's sperm, meaning both are equally worthless. No suggestion was ever made that he was abused. I know because I was the Tweeter to whom he revealed he'd attended an RC school and coincidentally it was my Twitter account which was later hacked to make the poor joke. And that is the whole truth.
  4. I know, mate. I genuinely have no idea why these misfits are tolerated for one second.
  5. I wish it was, bud. Sadly, it's 100% true. These people are agent provocateurs, I'm convinced of it.
  6. Richardson's Joan Burnie-style views will always have a platform. Dingwall, Graham and Co will see to that. She's their foul-mouthed attack dog who ensures those with traditional views are kept on the periphery of the debate. Carmody is her male equivalent, FP of a Glasgow Catholic school who vigorously attacks those who criticise single-faith schooling. If these people represent the future of the Rangers support, we are truly fucked.
  7. Don't think so but she was wheeled out by the RST to write a puff piece saying why she believed in it, a few weeks before she tried hard to infiltrate the RST's hated rivals RF.I agree with your earlier post. It seems clear she's hiding in plain sight in the Rangers support with a clear mandate to cause division. No wonder Dingwall and Fury are staunch defenders of hers.
  8. Cheers D'Art. Richardson may have some interesting political views but it's clear she knows/understands nothing of Rangers. Thank goodness she was eventually jettisoned from RF, her presence on the committee would have been disastrous.
  9. D'Art, for the benefit of those of us who won't see this book, could you clarify your own view of Richardson's seemingly peculiar contribution? You state your belief that her chapter provides "vision", then you quote her failure to identify a single tradition which could be attributed to Rangers beyond the blindingly obvious. From the excerpts you quoted, it seems an Aberdeen-supporting contributor understands Rangers far more profoundly than Richardson. What were the thoughts Richardson offered which you considered visionary?
  10. Know what you mean, bud. RF was a good idea and a great opportunity wasted through failure to keep to the agreed line re divisive figures such as Richardson.
  11. Sounds about as appealing a read to me as a Neil Lennon biography penned by Graham Spiers. Nothing on earth would induce me to read the half-formed thoughts of someone who clearly fails to understand the first thing about Rangers.
  12. So Gail Richardson, the person who had to be physically removed from serving on the board of Rangers First, is a self-confessed nationalist republican who believes Rangers has no cultural identity? I wonder why she was so keen to hold office in RF? Was she being worked from behind?
  13. A good friend of VB is in regular contact with Charles Green.
  14. I actually see positives tonight. I sense the whole place will receive an enormous lift when McCoist finally fucks off and we can have our football team back.
  15. So McGregor RB with Jig CM and MacLeod out wide again? Oh good.
  16. Not a single comment on this thread from any of our resident pro-UOF posters. Interesting.
  17. Brilliant. Thank God we have one fans group which is wholly and selflessly dedicated to confronting our enemies. Best of luck to VB with this.
  18. Apparently Hibs players downed tools when Butcher announced they were all going to be replaced when the season finished. Don't expect them to start the season as poorly as they finished last season.
  19. If you're happy following a mid-table championship team, keep Ally for ever. If you have any ambition beyond that for Rangers, though, you have to fire his useless fucking ass tonight. Please, Mr Easdale?
  20. No disrespect but McCulloch epitomises the approach which has made mediocrity the standard at Rangers.
  21. I'm told Scottish media poodles Chris Graham and Shane Nicholson will both be at NARSA this year as guests of a local Bear. I would very much hope the assembled Bears, including RMers, will let these two gentlemen know exactly what you think of their efforts to harm the club's financial well-being by cosying up to BBC Scotland and the Daily Record.
  22. Don't take Dude's only threat away from him: "I won't buy a ST. I mean it, I won't. My mates won't either. You'll be sorry. I'm still not buying one. Right, that's it..."
  23. When I read Wilson's poor scribblings, I realise how much he influenced Chris Graham after befriending him when CG started to become high profile..
