  2. Clarke with Barry Ferguson assisting :-)
  3. Applaude a black African terrorist who targeted white African's and European's? Yeah, for sure
  4. 4-1-2-3 Bell Faure Jig Mohsni Wallace MacLeod Peralta Law Aird Day Templeton
  5. The post was put up when we were 1-0 down and I was fearing the worst. Just never se us achieving much playing 4-4-2. Just my own view guys n' gals ;-)
  6. 4-1-3-2 (4-2-3-1 when not in possession) and plan B of 4-3-3 for me every time..
  7. From what I've read I thought he was destined to mainly be back-up to Black as holding midfielder.Or possibly 3rd choice there when Hutton is match fit.
  8. Alexander Argyriou Cribari Faure Wallace Craword MacLeod Black McKay Shiels McCulloch Win the battle in midfield first, then rip 'em apart Subs: Gallagher, Perry, Hutton, Stella, Sandaza.
  9. With Templeton injured we need to be playing to our strengths. No other wingers so play a midfield diamiond MacLeod holding, Black & Hutton/Crawford and McKay in behing TWO strikers. Jig & Shiels preferably
  10. 4-1-3-2 when in possession, 4-2-3-1 when not. Build the team around that and we won't go far wrong. Have 3-5-2 / 3-4-1-2 as a Plan B.
  11. akes you realise it's the one position that we don't have a automatic 2nd choice for. Who's coming through from the youth teams at LB?
  12. Now give him the number 9 shirt Ally ;-)
  13. A more than adequate squad in my opinion. Alexander Gallagher Argyriou Cribari Faure Wallace Cole Perry Hegarty *A LB MacLeod Hutton Wiktorski Templeton Black MacKay Mitchell Crawford Naismith McCulloch Little Sandaza Shiels Kyle Hemmings
  14. This does seem to suit the players we have. Can be converted very easily to 4-3-3 (my preferred plan B) or a 3-5-2/ 3-4-3.
  15. The one position we urgently need back up in is left back!! If Wallace gets injured / banned... Broadfoot, Cole, Perry, Hegarty, Little, Hutton... All adequate at RB.
  16. The Scottish Glen Hoddle ;-) Love the way the lad spreads the ball about. A joy to watch.
  17. A bit early for him to be on the sauce
  18. The squad we have I would go either with a 4-3-1-2 or a 3-4-1-2. I honestly think wingers are very over-rated these days, unless you unearth an exceptional one. And then he's only exceptional for one season until the hatchet men cotton on. Much better to conquer using exceptional tactics, ie the diamond midfield against certain teams, 3-4-1-2 against others.
  19. Being an old centre back, playing 3 at the back was great if you had 2 like-minded players with football brains. If they're just lug-heeds with 1.5 cells between them then it'll never work. A thinking footballer will always make 3-5-2 work. Or to be more precise, 3-5-2 or 3-4-1-2 if you have a Barrie McKay in the hole ;-)
