The thing is its a big game for the Scots but its a warm up against a minor team for England without having to travel thousands of miles. Easy win 2 0 for Englands second string.
So why is Ally bleating about tge game going ahead when we are one first team player down and at home to Alloa? He's had two years and plenty of cash to put a decent team together
So, using Aly's logic two and half years after admin he has built a team that depends on one player, a kid (albeit a very talented kid) to beat Alloa at home?!
I'm still unclear on something - State Aid is agianst EU/UEFA law/regulations I assume to stop states providing teams with an unfair advantage. It looks like that is the case here without much doubt. Is there not another side to this whole affair in that the way in which the 'aid' has been provided could be construed as illegal within Scottish law? Although lilnked should they not be looked at separately as theroretically they could be guilty of one or both. In which case the appropriate authorites in Scotland should be looking at the second issue now.
They are a second tier club. Good spell under Revie and a couple of years when we beat them in the battle of Britain. Other than that nothing. Ground is quite big - well one of the stands is - but its shite.
