some of ma mates played for the same boys club team as fleck and many more played in the same league against him, n honestly if there was one player they always talked about it was him.. hes done not bad for a start to force himself into the first team squad at such a young age, and while in the run of games hes played decent, i cant believe this reaction.. over the past few weeks i seen many posts calling for "fleck to be given a run of games" and then when he starts n actually plays not bad hes gettin abuse left right n centre n being told to gtf, unbelievable.

The point is that it's VERY difficult to sell a few players and replace them with less money nd be expected to not have a deficency in quality. But you have to look at teams like Arsenal who continually replace players with youth and cheaper signings thats because wenger can pull an african player out his arse

we basically lay down for them tonight.. we tried to go out attacking but everytime we did we got caught on the break, we gave them farrrrrr too much space to work with. Whittaker should fuck off, mcculloch and lafferty aswell, davis was not bad. Wilson and mcgregor class, anyone else agree that McGregor is by far our best player?

nah thats not what i meant.. theres no doubt papac should be our first choice LB, but in time id like to see smith be gradually introduced back into the team, smith could have been a very good player for us, lets hope its not all been wasted. He does have a really good delivery, he has had no luck at all with injuries he definetley needs games maybe a loan? its a wierd one, if he started playing regularly n wasnt fucked with injuries it would be great for his development but i could only see that if he went out on loan, but just now i guess we need him as cover, cos who else is there for LB? whittaker?

TBH the only player we could lose and be ok would be Bougherra. I am not saying that I want him to go, I am just saying with Wilson playing well and Andy Webster availble we would be fine. We still have Mendes and Edu to come back and Broadfoot also. aye weve got adequate cover for boogie if he leaves, but what happens if weir or wilson get injured? not only that, what if we lose boyd, that means we need to rely upon lafferty or miller or novo for consistent goal scoring . Davis aswell but i spose we have edu etc plus mcculloch but id rather he stayed out the team. Boyd isnt going anywhere. Papac is a CB so is Broadfoot (although would prefer if he didnt play there after Mcdonald took this pish out of him 27th december game last year) And we have Steven Smith to cover the LB spot. Dont think Davis will go anywhere either. i am never confident with either of them at CB, especialy broadfoot being out for so long and being a mediorce player at best. i do like smith and i think we should stick by him abit more as hes been terribly unlucky, his performances were one of the better points of PLG's reign. However with the club in such a dire situation, our more valuable assets are at risk, boyd is the goal scorer, its only natural teams will want him especially coz of his recent performances and the fact that smith doesnt seem to rate him highly enough, also, davis and boogie may fetch a decent sum each, ad say if a bid came in for maybe 2.5 or more for either the club wood accept at this point in time.

i dont think the problem is celtic strengthening in january, im more concerened about our performance in the january transfer window.. if we lose players n dont get at least a few replacements then were gonna be struggling along side celtic regardless of whether theyve bought more players or not.
