  1. Yes. He's actually very credible, despite opinions on here. A Rangers fan and a former exec at Deutsche Bank gets the thumbs up.
  2. Easton is definitely someone we should keep an eye on. He's only 18 and was released by Livingston. His contract runs out in the summer. I was impressed by Shankland at Queen's Park.
  3. I think a European league, or cross-border activity is inevitable now. UEFA can't really block it and I think they realise that the game is becoming too focused, commercially, to certain countries. I'd love to see a European league. Why not? It makes sense. Scottish football isn't going anywhere commercially. Rangers have a domestic market of five million people in Scotland, where as, they could reach 250 million in a European league. Not being able to go to every away match doesn't bother me. I appreciate it means a lot to many - but we have TV. It's not a huge issue. I would imagine if we moved to a European League, we would still field a Scottish side in the lower divisions.
  4. The share issue should increase the transfer capital available to McCoist. We seriously need some investment in the squad. Anestis Argriyou has been a positive, for me. At 24, he's certainly capable of holding down that right-back slot. But I feel we should be looking for younger SFL players with the ability to sell on for a profit. If we can invest and get some SFL1/2 players who are a bit younger, then we can actually put together a strong side. I'd look at Lawrence Shankland from Queen's Park, Stephen Kingsley from Falkirk and someone like Ali Crawford from Hamilton. Three really promising young players. Add to that, another decent SPL signing, maybe a Ryan McGowan, Liam Kelly, or whatever, would be a positive sign.
  5. Forget this specific interview, for one second. The possibility of connections between Whyte/Ticketus/Zeus/Green has been out there for months. I'm 100% convinced that there are connections. Green's intentions are exactly the same, as what Whyte would have done. Green only cares more about Rangers, in comparison to Whyte, because he has an investment to protect. That's it. Anyone thinking otherwise needs their head checked. I'm not pro or anti Green - but the naively towards him, just because of what he says, is actually ridiculous. It's like people never learn ...
  6. That is f*cking magic. How about an RM donation?
  7. It's really not petty at all. No manager resorts to a tracksuit, just because his tactics and understanding is pish.
  8. I know I've been very critical of Green on here. I've taken dogs abuse on this. But anybody who thinks all of the share money is going to be reinvested back into Rangers is seriously deluded.
  9. Am I reading this thread right? The blind loyalty to Charles Green will only put us back in the same position as we were in the summer. Unless, of course, the doubts are nonsense and he's in it for the best interests of RFC.
  10. He is coaching Phoenix City in the USL Pro League.
  11. I wouldn't go to a Rangers game with Billy Davies as the manager.
  12. A lot of our chances/shots were actually from outside the penalty box. Stirling Albion had their goal, a snap-shot from 6 yards out and two one-on-ones.
  13. I think you are underestimating things. It could get worse. Queen's Park in a fortnight won't be easy - and that is at home.
  14. I admire your optimism. But McCoist has shown nothing to prove that anything is going to change. I think, for starters, the half-hearted nature of training at Auchenhowie needs to be revamped. That won't happen under McCoist - certainty.
  15. McCoist needs to go. As said previously, we won't get automatic promotion, if things continue. We have the international break to sort ourselves out. Important we use it.
  16. McCoist is on borrowed time. He's made a ridiculous amount of mistakes in his tenure.
  17. That was garbage. And the RTV commentary is even worse.
  18. Ian Black has been a passenger in every away match this season.
  19. To be honest, I'd probably still be called a taig. I'm just not buying into the Green show. He's protecting an investment - which of course, he is right to do. But not in the best interests of Rangers Football Club. I'm passing on information which I've been told by a reliable source. That's all. Add to that, having seen some of the bluster (signing with Adidas last week = lie; Ahmed talking of commercial growth of 400% etc), it makes me even more sceptical. It's not just players. There's other things to consider - operating costs, bills, non-playing staff etc. The non-playing staff budget was about £7m before Duff and Phelps came in.
  20. Jesus. I'm a taig now? How predictable? The information I have is that the club is running at a loss of about £20,000 a week.
  21. I was there - and it was fantastic. But the club is already running at a loss. That scares the f*cking shit out of me.
  22. I think he's pandering to the fans - that's just my opinion. I still think he's a conman and is going to ruin our club.
