  1. for someone who has played as a holdin midfielder for the past few seasons edu's passing is horrendous
  2. agree, well except from the Weiss comment. done well at gettin at his man but passin was awful, also played about wth it at on the right wing 20 yards from goal then played a bad pass which boughy had to foul from, could have been dangerous. 2nd half wen we were 2-0 down we were playing (well im pretty sure we were).. Shagger Whitt david boughy broadfoot weiss lee davis laff . naisy . miller to play with one up top and another in behind when we were 2 down at home is awful. why wasnt naisy right up with miller( dunno if he wwas asked to do so or not but was droppin off pretty deep)
  3. only decent pass was from whittaker when he put miller through only for that clumsy cunt at the back to get in the, clearly not ment mind you.. just kicked the ball th way he was facing. must have been the worst ive seen boughy play. bring on the man u !!
  4. comments like that is why your reps -84 son ! i know i can't dance, dont make 50,000 fans on a saturday watch me being shit !
  5. is it only me that really hates the cheerleaders ? i mean good to look at but they are truely awful dancers !!
  6. c'mon mate you sound as paranoid as one of THEM !!
  7. it was brought up, not the main focus of the documentry.
  8. was watching a documentry about the old firm and it was saying how Rangers didn't sign a catholic player till the 80's, just wonderin if the decision was down to you what would your verdict be ? im of the belief that if the player is good enough for our great club he should be signed/played.
  9. just like to say a big well done to Neil, attitude is fantastic ! was a statement on SSN from him and as saying how hes worked all his career to get to a club like rangers so he has no intentions of leaving ! obviously knows what it means to play for the club, if shagger does leave he deserves to become no.1 TOP MAN, neil i salute you !
  10. i dont think we should be too downharted about today, of course were all gutted. but we never thought the last 16 was a realistc goal the better team won, you couldnt get 10 players from all scotland tht were as comfortable as they were on the ball
  11. Not really important but who cares, anyone see Bear Grylles double in Super Lee ?
  12. was a horrendous challange. ive not seen from highlights but i seen it from my seat in GR, from where i as sittin it looked like a red card.. Foran had no intrest in the ball, was late and came in from behind Mo, shockinh tackle !
  13. many of these quotes made me really prod to be a bear ... Ibrox Stadium Click for larger imageIBROX Stadium is home to Glasgow Rangers, where 50,000 Fans attend weekly with 36,500 season ticket holders. IBROX has four stands the Bill Struth Main Stand, Govan, Copland and Broomloan with the away support in the corner between the Govan stand and Broomloan. click here for a plan of the stadium. There is also a Superstore at Ibrox. The Main stand has three tires front, main and club deck where the others have only two but has been rumoured that Govan will have third added. Ibrox is one of the few stadiums in Europe with a 5 stars from UEFA with very few teams having 5 stars as there are only two football stadiums in Scotland with this, Ibrox and Hampden. Travel Channel rated Ibrox as the fourth best stadium in the world to watch a game - 'A trip to the cold north of Britain to see the Glasgow Rangers Football Club is sure to "put some hairs on yer wee chest." At Ibrox, 50,500 Rangers fanatics have created one of the most fervent, electric matchday atmospheres in the entire world, and it's worth a look. Although fans of cross-town rival Glasgow Celtic will beg to differ (will insist on differing, in fact), Rangers FC are the class leaders of Scottish soccer, having won multiple titles.' Quotes Some quotes from opposition players on the Ibrox Atmosphere Didier Drogba (Chelsea) "All I can say when I try to imagine what it will be like at Ibrox is Ooh la la!' I played against Rangers at Ibrox with Chelsea in the summer and we lost 2-0, I have told Perrin that the atmosphere at Ibrox is absolutely magical. To my way of appreciating football, its truly really beautiful. That's how to support your team!" Drogba goes on "Lyon played at Celtic a couple of seasons ago but Ibrox will be completely different!" Thierry Henry (FC Barcelona) "I know the atmosphere that's generated here and that makes it tough for any team. I thought the fans were unbelievable again. "They were not swearing or shouting stupid things, they pushed their team forward and that's great to see." Frank Lampard (Chelsea) "The Rangers fans were awesome, all the lads were talking about it," said Lampard. "The reception I got when I went to take corners during the game, and after when we were going off, was really nice. "They certainly love their own team, but it was very special to get that welcome. It was amazing really, and a very good game to play in for us, certainly the best friendly we've had. "With that kind of backing from their crowd, they will be hard to beat. And I expect to see Rangers in the Champions League. Hernan Crespo (AC Milan) "I've played at Ibrox --the atmosphere in Scottish stadiums is sensational." Lionel Letizi (PSG) "I'd been told about the incredible atmosphere but could not believe how loud it was. "When we arrived and walked out on to the pitch, the stadium was empty because we were early. "We went back inside to change and when we walked into the tunnel we could hear a rumbling noise. "And when we went back on to the pitch I could not believe my ears. The sound was terrifying and the game had not even started yet. "I then had to walk to my goal and when the referee blew his whistle to start the match the sound which came from the stand at my back almost knocked me over. "It was amazing and I am really looking forward to experiencing this again - as a Rangers player." Henning Berg (When at Rangers) "The atmosphere was better than anything I experienced at Old Trafford, even better than playing Juventus there. I will never forget this night. Dado Prso (Monaco) "The atmosphere was incomparable, and I had goosebumps throughout the match," he said of the 2-2 draw, despite spending the first 56 minutes on the bench. Since then, I have never experienced anything as intense in any of the other European stadia I've played football in. Rangers are the club I needed to join. They are a club in my own image, and their ambitions are on the same level as my own." Gary Neville (Manchester United) "This was the loudest atmosphere that I have known, compared to any English ground away from home. "There have been certain nights at Old Trafford in European games - the ones against Juventus comes to mind - when the atmosphere was incredible. "But this was definitely up there with the best. It was fantastic. "When we came out at the start I was looking around me and I saw people in the directors’ box jumping up singing and I was wondering what was happening. It is not usually like that. "The crowd beating us was never going to happen - but thank goodness they didn’t score." Ruud van Nistelrooy (Manchester United) "I'll never forget that night we played there. The atmosphere was unbelievable, very hostile. Villarreal will think they've experienced a lot of good atmospheres but I really think the Rangers support could startle them. Marcos Senna (Villarreal) "Usually players don't even hear supporters when we play but it was impossible to ignore the crowd in Glasgow. "When they scored, the noise was amazing, incredible. It was a very beautiful spectacle. "I could almost say I was not totally sad when they scored - that crowd deserved it. "It seems there will be 6000 Rangers fans here but only 4000 will get into the stadium. Well, it's going to be noisy inside and out. "Their fans are great and it will help them but it was a lot noisier at Ibrox than it will be at our ground. The Madrigal fans support us a lot but in a different way." Giovanni van Bronckhorst (Barcelona) "It is not just made up that players can suffer from an intimidating atmosphere when they play at visiting grounds. "I know from Ruud (Ruud van Nistelrooy) that when we beat PSV at Ibrox in the Champions League he thought it was very frightening. He said it was one of the most atmospheric matches he had ever experienced - and now he has to face it again. For him to come back to Ibrox it will be the same experience. "I know that Manchester United's players face all the biggest games and full stadiums everywhere, but I think most of them will find this Wednesday night at Ibrox a really different atmosphere. "I've played in England and I don't think that any stadium in the Premiership can compare with Ibrox for its intimidating atmosphere - it is far above them." W.A.T.P

  15. First thred something buggin me ************************
  16. first time starting a topic. season ticket holder GR1 following the forum for few years now and would just like to make a point about the lack of positive thinking from members of the forum. in the summer there were a number of forums about Naisy, eg selling him to Derby for 400k ( majoity of fans wanting to get rid of player as he wasn't good enough for our club) .. player always had potential many people disliked him due to injury, just hoping some of yous are now eating your words has had a amzing start to the season and long may it continue. we need to start backing players like naisy and laff etc in order for them to achieve their full potential ( eg look what Charlie Adam has achieved when he gets a bit o backing nd not all the pressures we 'demand' as fans of the worlds greatest club) W.A.T.P
  17. good fair point, we drove charlie adam away with constent abuse and look at what he has done with a bit of support and confidence. lets get behind the team !
  18. franny jeffers didn't star for rangers, i would prefer to use the word play as he was fuckin pish !
  19. barry ofcourse. however, think it would be a tad harsh to say boydy isnt a ledgend, the man has been top scorer since 2006 for the gers. too have scored 100+ goals for the gers already and is also SPL top scorer, boyd not a ledgend ? look at what he has achieved already at the age of 26.
  20. :L hense the reason your single, way it should be though
  21. Papac is a left back Good back-up for Pablo Brandan. when we signed him he was a CB, has just bein played LB.
