Stella being released
We Will Follow Rangers replied to FirrhillLoyal's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
nothing ventured nothing gained. we've took a wee punt on this boy when we've hardly been spoiled for choice, for whatever reason its not worked out, its better to take this decision now and let the boy move on. good luck to him. onwards and upwards for us. -
what about adding a prefix to it for a set period for a large sum of money? after all we changed its suffix after 98 years from park to stadium without any fuss, or large sum of money
-
theres no bigger part of our history than the titles and trophies we've won, whether they be skol cups, tennants cups, clydesdale trophies or b&q trophies, getting that amount of external revenue for simply allowing a prefix to our stadiums name doesnt alter our history or heritage anymore than the sponsers of any trophy we've won devalues that trophy.
-
if people dont understand the difference between shyte flogging part of our heritage, and a proud part of our history at that, in the arsenal shares and the potential for bringing external revenue for virtualy old rope by allowing our stadiums name to have a prefix for three years, (supposing its true) then priorities need examined.

absolutely devastating for the family. my thoughts are with them. -
temps and sandaza show today, great effort and entertainment from both, gutted for sandaza he didnt score, but he was unselfish and his efforts deserved the applause. he'l do very nicely for us.

CRO - Billy Boys Update
We Will Follow Rangers replied to billmcmurdo's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
allways thought the established cleaned up version was "where ever we go we'll fear no foe surrender or you die" whats wrong with that? -
ally thought sandaza had the attributes to do a job for us when we were in the spl. few are better placed to judge a strikers attributes. like a few of our players he's had no pre season and has had a stuttering start to his career for us. they still have plenty of time to come good for us. dont feel the need to be overly critical or negative about any of our players. our clubs in rude health, fans revitalised and we've some cracking young players in macleod and mckay, and we're on our way back to the top where we belong. its all good.
-
never had a run to get going, I thing he can bring something different to what we have allready, strikers aren't what we're blessed with in terms of up and comings so we need the make the best of what we have, form at previous clubs suggests he 'l score goals. I'm hoping he'l still make an impact and come good for us.

dont think the term badge kisser is relevent here , the wee man was bursting with pride, his family must have been as well. I thought his first touch was a bit heavy but he was still first too it and his shot was thing of beauty, worthy of any level. absolutely love the way all the youngsters are bursting with pride to play for the rangers.
-
exactly what I'd expect from a professional footballer, play to the whistle and if you get in the position to give the referee a decision to make... fairplay. considering the batterings he takes and the decisions we dont get I wouldnt lose sleep over it.
-
why would we want that rat faced waster anywhere near our young players?
-
aye there was a thread on here a few months ago about how well we're adapting to life in the third division, not well at the time, esp away from home. the difference is night and day now, ally had 2 weeks to build a team from journymen and talented boys, we've learn'nt how to play in this league, ie having to earn the right to show we're better. we've some exciting young players bursting with pride to play for the gers, hopefully players coming back will bring some stability in defence where we need to improve. great to see jig and little grabbing a brace upfront where we've good options with jig free'd up from defence 9 points clear with a game in hand after 15 games played. well done to super ally and the team. onwards and upwards bears.

Is 5.99 too much for the stream?
We Will Follow Rangers replied to j1mgg's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
dont think they can show games in the uk live that are on Sky or ESPN? wish they could, dont want sky. I think its a big opportunity for the club, fans are more and more looking to the clubs web content for club news and features rather than read the twisted bollocks from the printed press, its something the club is in a position to take a lead on as we can show our live away games in the uk, our clubs website is the most visited football club website in scotland and the 4th most visited in the uk. bodes well for the future that the club is investing in IT and its own media. -

£6 quid may be a meaningfull amount of cash to some, I can understand in a city with 1 in 4 unemployment why that would be the case. for me though its great that the club can show its live games on its own site and still get a revenue stream from those like me whose weekend time to too precious to allow for travelling away to games. I couldnt, in good concious watch a poor quality free stream thats 7 minutes behind and buffers and lags, whilst depriving the club of income, £96 gets me an annual subscription to rangers tv plus gets me all non televised away games plus loads of content from the archives, I've got espn through virgin, only watch when rangers are playing as I have no interest in any other team, I wouldnt pay for that if I didnt get it free. the clubs investing money in IT, new servers ect to maximise web content and open up new revenue streams, this is the future esp if the future does holds crossborder leagues ect -
Dundee United and Rangers in ticket deal
We Will Follow Rangers replied to LeeWallaceRFC's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
bit fucking late for that, didnt shy away from putting the boot into our club when we were on our knees, but now they need our cash they dont want to inflame the situation any bear going the game will be highlighted in the media as going against the club, if we are divided on this, that division will be exploited by our enemies, we need to stand as one, what we face in the new year is an assault on our club in the expectation of stealing our titles won fairly on the pitch. this isnt about letting bygones be bygones for whats gone before its about sending a clear message to those who are about to attack our club once again. attack us and we will hurt you back. -
Has Bill McMurdo lost the plot?
We Will Follow Rangers replied to MisterC's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
is it possible bill is being a tad disingenuous here? and the subtext to his article is painting a picture of what the consequences of "Everything at the club is for sale" are. reads more like a warning than a ringing endorsement to go ahead and sell the clubs soul down the river. -
not illegal no, but almost certainly against fsa regs, 2 clear conflicts of interest, and a severe lack of "customer care". given that they were at the time 60% state controlled their conduct is well worth looking at.

up until now charles green has proven time and time again that he will listen to the fans, those in bf1 have his ear, as do other supportors group, though last night was a faux pas and regretable, lets not get too carried away with comparisons to that disgrace and shame that is the GB. its a passionate subject for a lot of bears who feel that that ibrox is'nt just any old football stadium that can be re-named for money, its also a memorial, it cant be re-named. I suspect charles will listen on this, the figures being bandied about just aren't worthwhile to risk the wrath
