Too many think you could get a suntan from McCoists arse if you stood close enough because of who he is. Any other manager in our history wouldn't get the backing he does from these same people. I'm trying to imagine an Alex McLeish in this situation....

for once why doesnt ally treat us properly by admitting that he and his players cocked up and the fault lies with them and them only, at times he thinks we're buttoned up at the back, and tbh some fans are when they believe his excuses

OK then a collection of one-off bad results then ... some of them utter humilations ....

As far as I am concerned he is clueless tactically and his team selections are baffling. If you set up a team system which encourages the opposition to attack at will even a team with plumbers,postmen etc will do that, if your tactics play into the hands of the opposition; the long ball to a lone striker, then our team will find it difficult. If a manager seems unable to motivate more than 2 players in his selection to compete for the ball being clueless is not the most important thing to be worried about.There is also the nagging feeling that he does not have the respect from his players.
We will win the league because of the extremely large,experienced, highly paid squad playing against part timers but our manager at times makes a really hard job of it considering the massive advantages he has.
