  1. I'm no 15 mate, & anyway, you can only do that so many times as well. What would I do for the other 23hrs & 59 minutes in the day pmsl
  2. You can only read so much about us mate, but nothing beats watching the Rangers.
  3. Anytime I hear the newco/sevco pish I just yawn & ask them "come on, you've had over 3 years now & that's the best you can come up with"? I also like to mention that FIFA, UEFA, SFA & SPFL all say we're the same club, but some wee tim sitting at a PC says we're not, so I guess he must be right.
  4. Was always a Vanian/Sensible man myself mate.
  5. Been waiting on this one, lol
  6. Can't wait for the season to start. Was so bored today, I took my son & his pals fishing, & I'm not even into fishing.
  7. I ordered mine & my wee boys last Thursday night & it came through the door Saturday morning (yesterday) so about 9 days for ours to come.
  8. I'd be surprised if it's only 28000 sold mate. Apparently over 22000 renewed & going by the seats available if you check online, I'd say it was far more. I think we've sold a lot more than 6000 new season tickets.
  9. Anyone know when smart cards get sent out? Bought mine online on Thursday. I got mine & my boys for CF1 mate, & there weren't many left then, so it could be sold out.
  10. Exactly. Fact is, jock stein DID know. It was him that got torbett kicked out, & the kellys & whites covered it up, so why can people kick up a stink about something that is true. The tims are too well in with the media for anyone to have the balls to investigate it.
  11. How the fk is saying BJK glorifying child abuse? So if anyone mentions that the BBC knew about saville, they're glorifying child abuse? Still don't understand how they manage to turn around covering up abuse into everyone else is wrong & they're right.
  12. I've had this for the last few seasons, but can't mind how to do it. Does anyone have a link that lets my iphone calendar show all the Rangers fixtures. Supposed to getting a new samsung phone, so if anyone knows how to do it for that as well, that would be great. Cheers
  13. Well, finally bit the bullet (ok, so I managed to convince my wife) & got season tickets for me & my boy. Excited as f**k now, can't wait for the season to start. Sitting in CF1 (best I could get) I'd be surprised if there's only 30,000 sold. I've been online getting my tickets, & there's a lot of areas with hardly any seats left in them.
  14. Can anyone tell me how I can use the credit method of paying in instalments? I was online, but when I got to the payment part, there was no option for paying up, only full payment. Do I have to go in person or over the phone?
  15. Sorry if someones already said this as I've not read all the posts, but why the f**k would we want him back? Failed everywhere he went & now we're asking, "would we take him back"? Move on. We should be looking at decent new players not bringing back ones who were shit, even when they were here before. TBH, the only one who has made any sort of impact since he left was Naithsmith, & I wouldn't take the wee deserter back even on a freebie.
  16. I remember getting this one. I got it home on the day it came out & realised it had been made wrong. The white sleeve was on the white side & the red sleeve on the red side. Took it right back into the store & the umbro rep just happened to be in talking to the owner. No-one had even noticed until I said to him. All the others in the delivery were the same, so I had to wait a few days to get a new one. Gave me the option to keep it (said it could be worth a bit in years to come) but I got a right one.
  17. I'm sure it's either locked closed or opened, by the club. The fan isn't able to open or close it. I think it's a special key to open or close it.
  18. If you have a look online (think there's even a bit on YouTube), you'll see the type of seats used still mean you do have to shuffle along to the end of each row to get out, so you'd still have the fans getting out just as they do now. Think you could do it with the east & west enclosures, but not you'd have to sort out season ticket holders who already sit there. They might not want to move & they might not want to stand.
  19. Can't believe some of the questions these so called journalists ask. Some stupid wummin asks if the squad will be a mix of youth with 2 or 3 more experienced players? He answered that last week hen. Or don't you read your own paper?
  20. Anyone else on here meet the chairman of the company they work for at their interview? Anyone even met them yet? Usual slow news day, so lets sensationalize a non story. Nice to see the rebel (sunday edition) hasn't changed.
  21. Thats where I watched it mate . Wasn't sure if I was allowed to post a link to it.
  22. Just googled it mate, the 3-3 game was the 76-77 season. I think that was the game that got Davie Cooper signed to us. I actually had to search to see what game it was I was at. I always remembered it was the 77-78 season, cos that was the first year I ever collected paninni stickers. I mind my mate buying a pack of stickers that very day & getting 2 Rangers players in it & he gave them to me to stick on the front of my Rangers "tammy". I know, my mind if full of shit. My wife allways says to me, that if she was to ask me something I did over 30 years ago, I could tell her, but when I go to the shop for something, I'm on the phone to her 5 minutes later asking her what I was to get. I keep telling her though, you never forget the Rangers
  23. After reading that, I got quite emotional & felt I had to say a wee bit. The first Rangers game I ever attended was in season 1977-78. It was against Clydebank. I'd be lying if I said what game it was, either the October game or the February game, just always remember it was that season & that it pissed down for most of the game. I was 10 years old & along with 2 of my school friends, went down "The Toll" in Bonnybridge, got some sweets & jumped on the Camelon supporters bus when it stopped in Bonnybridge. I sound like an old saddo, but it really was in better & safer times, you left your house in the morning & returned home at night & your parents didn't have a second thought for your safety. It was just taken, you were ok. Anyway, up at Ibrox, off the bus, & we paid to get in & stood right down the front of the Copland terrace in the pissing rain. Like I said, I can't remember what game it was, but we did win. (First game was 4-1, second was 1-0) That was it, I was then a Rangers fan for life. I went to just about every game I could, along with my pals, but wasn't allowed to aberdeen, as the bus either stayed up overnight, or it left late (at least that's what I was told) & by the time I did get to go up there, the bus would just leave after the game. I kept on going to as many games as I could, though being unemployed for a while restricted the amount of games I could get to. As I got older I stopped going, as we were saving up to get married & to get a mortgage for a house, then my son came along & there was always something else for money to be spent on. I'd attend the odd pre season friendly, & eventually took my son to his first Rangers game in 2007, which was the Rangers 9 in a row team v scottish league select. He was only 3 & wouldn't sit still. Luckily my 2 wee nieces were with us, so they kept him occupied, lol. I took him up to some pre season friendlies, but that was about it. Then the worst happened. I think enoughs been written about that, but when we were shafted & put into the 3rd division, I thought, if I can't go & support my team in their hour of need, when will I ever go back. So ever since then, we've been back watching Rangers, me & my son. We only go to the home games, as I can't bring myself to give money to those w**kers who wanted us to die. Maybe I will mellow when we get back where we belong, but until then, it's home games only. It's like what D'Art says above, this club gets into your blood. I couldn't believe how I felt at times this season during the playoffs. I was sitting like a wee boy waiting for christmas, waiting for the hiv's game, them the well game too. I'm sitting even now, can't wait for the season to kick off again. The things this club does to you, even when we're playing shit. It has been tough watching some of the football on show over the past few years, there have been some really shit games, but there has been the odd good game as well. There probably still will be some shit games, but hopefully, this is us, on our way back. But no matter what, we'll stand by our club through thick & thin, through the good times & the bad. Because, we're not just any club. We're not just supporters. We are a family. We are the people. We are.......Rangers.
