the daily retard has reported today that the sfa have withdrawn nominations for Scottish stadiums to host the 2019 European cup final.given that ibrox and hampden are the only two stadiums that qualify to fit the bill for this tournament and that hampden has hosted a final in the not too distant past leaving ibrox as the logical answer,why has this been allowed to happen.what a chance missed for rangers to make much needed funds .the sfa should be made to answer for this big time!!!

I would be happy if the big man retired from international football and concentrated in giving everything playing for the club.i would imagine given his age that Portugal would want to start building a new younger team after winning the European championships.that would suit both him and us fine and should enable him to enhance his career without playing needless midweek games and having to travel all over the world playing friendlies!!!

so sad to hear that jimmy millar has suffered these last few years with the terrible condition which is dementia, jimmy played for rangers at centre forward in my first game following the team at tynecastle in the early sixties.i remember the game well,my late father took me a proud as punch young lad not yet in my teens to watch the gers on a rainy Wednesday night against hearts.jimmy and ralph brand had a terrific partnership in those days and both went on to be legends for our club.i still remember that night at tynecastle our keeper (it was either George niven or billy Ritchie)got carried off with a bad injury but we weren`t allowed substitutes back in those days.our right back bobby shearer went into goal and played his part in a fine 3-1 victory for the gers that night.i have seen rangers with many a fine team since that first game in Edinburgh but no one epitomised what it meant to play for rangers than that fantastic centre forward jimmy millar.may you keep well jimmy I`m sure your family must be very proud of you as we all are, god bless you!!!

why do we persist in looking to bring in players who have or are recovering from serious injuries.patterson was a good player for hearts as an attacking right sided defender and scored goals mainly because of his height,but he was never a good defender and only got called up for Scotland because we had no one else and still don`t.after his injury he has still to prove himself and I would rather persevere with Tavernier than hope that Patterson can do a job for us.this coming season is going to be very important for the club and we can ill afford to throw away cash on a player who may break down after a couple of games.our transfer targets need to be brought in wisely and in my opinion Patterson doesn`t come into that category!!!

just heard on bbc Scotland news that rangers are to consider a standing section for next season.where do you think it will be located?surely it won`t be in the broomloan as we would lose it against the taigs,what do you think guys?

watched the hibs hearts game last Wednesday and was impressed with the display of Darren McGregor.no frills about him just did what was expected and completely dominated in the centre of defence.i think we should have kept him on as he is much better standard than any of our central defenders at the present time,anyone agree?

hearing today that red bull Leipzig may not be allowed to take part in European competitions next season as uefa don`t allow clubs run under the same franchise to take part in the same competiion ala red bull saltzburg certainties to win Austrian league and enter champions league competition.if and it is a big if red bull throw some money into rangers as part of their franchise it could bar as fom playing in Europe so what would be the sense in accepting any money from them as it defeats the purpose.
