  1. Merry Christmas to all the Bears and Bearettes out there! WATP
  2. Cheers! Just with everyone talking about forward to September next year lost track of the original dates for the embargo. Personally I am looking forward to this transfer window ( not getting hopes up ). We are the most exciting thing happening in Scottish football and I would think players will realise this and be prepared to joins us as the only way is up compared to the SPL. Although I think we need to work up the division ps and give these young players the chance to develop and we will be on the verge of something special! WATP
  3. He did say we can't buy players until Jan 2014? Is that right? Too many numbers and dates swirling about its hard to keep track! Lol!
  4. Well that was short and sweet, as expected talking about IPO, saying fans have put in £3 - £5million and if full £10 million was to be taken up then fans would have 20% of the club. Admitted timing was poor but wanted to keep the promise of floating the club on the AIM this year and the institutional investors have lodged their money if he extended the deadline to the New Year then other investment oportunities might arise for them or give the way of the world just now there might be a global catastrophe that effects the stock exchange. Quoted the ECA about us having our history intact! Also said that he had spoke to the chairman of Montrose who apologised for what happened.
  5. Just heard the 5.30pm sports news and they said the man was calling in tonight. Was meat to call at 6.30pm but called at 5.30pm. Don't know if he is on live or if it will be pre-recorded. Should be worth a listen, I so hope it is live!
  6. This is the chance of a lifetime for any player so even there is short term pain ( dropping down a league) there is plenty to gain, regular first team football, winning trophies, then eventually European football and the best part is doing it in a Rangers jersey. Fuck FIFA, this is any players chance to Become Legend for real. :-)
  7. Mass Effect 2, not sure what next? Mass Effect 3 or Back Ops 2?
  8. He actually said, that was a different conversation not for discussing just now it's a whole wider area, £9 million just for Ibrox.
  9. Re the shares, he said £17 million already sold to the institutional investors and could have sold more but had to keep £10 million back for the fans but if the fans didn't buy them he already had investors wanting them. He then added but if they didn't buy them I woud buy them myself. :-)
  10. Worth a look, wingers form can be inconsistent at the best of times but especially when they are young. Would strengthen our squad if he is decent.
  11. Don't know if it's posted yet but from Jigs twitter account. @jiggymacc6: For everyone asking,I'm not involved in the 67 people and if my name is there it will be getting taken off. @GreggWylde: For all those Rangers fans asking NO am not involved.
  12. There has I really hope so Chef, there has been a lot of good things happening and if we could draw a line by having the BTC appeal rejected it would be another GIRFUY! To the haters that seem to be getting a second wind!
  13. I think we have the most exciting group of youngsters we have ever had and they are developing with every game and although these forums can explode after a bad performance, the reaction of the Bears at the games has been largely exceptional and have shown these young players the patience they need as their inconsistency can lead to frustration. I think they do need help and whether you believe Black, Kyle, Sandanza, Crbari, Faure, or Greek Boy are good enough at least they have chosen to join our journey and the fact they are not Rangers men makes their choice more laudable. So back to the sqaud, I think we need quality to mix it with these youngsters!
  14. I know it may be a bit early but with all the Rangers Greats being at Ibrox tomorrow it got me thinking. Last year we probably lost out on some players due to the all the uncertainty and negativity directed at out Club. Now when we appraoch players do you think how we are now percieved will have changed sufficently that they will want to be part of our rise back to the top of Scottish football. They will see how outstanding our support and Club is and will continue to be and realise this is a once in a lifetime opportunity to be part of something speacial. It may mean they play at a level below what they are used to or forgo the chance of Scotland caps for a season or two but in the end they would be playing in Europe and winning trophies every year. The 140 years celebrations this weekend puts the icing on the cake that we are the Biggest, we will be the Best for Now and Forever We are The People!
  15. They are the business and it mustn't be forgotten how much hard work goes into getting this done ad done properly so that it doesn't look cheap and is a another example of why Rangers is The Club and WATP!
  16. I don't really understand it all but it is looking good especially if they have had to ring fence £10 mill of shares for fans. I read this to mean that Charles has a solid vision of our future and these people, who are not stupid ( I'm imagining Dragons Den) most certainly are not OUT!
  17. I'm liking this new approach!
  18. Brilliant move by Charles Green, I wonder if he has read The Art of War cause he is taking no prisoners! Lol :-)
