Their back four is shaky is fuck, really hope we can put more pressure on them second half. Would like to see Matondo on for Sima then Danilo for Dessers shortly after.

IIRC I think there was a period under Gio where everyone, myself included, was crying out for Hagi to play in the deep playmaker role that we were using at the time as it seemed tailor made for him after having been mostly shifted out wider under Gerrard. Gio then played him there for a few games and he was pretty poor, that was the point when I gave up on him succeeding here tbh. He seems a nice guy so hopefully he gets a good move and does well in another league but just don’t think he’s suited for Scotland.

Can’t remember the last time I was this angry after a result and there’s been plenty of shockers the past few years. Time is a luxury we simply don’t have anymore and there’s no fucking way the fans will accept writing off another season in October/November. As a result of yesterday’s showing he should be under immense pressure now and if he can’t drastically change things in the next couple of games then he’s a dead man walking.

Feel exactly the same with Beale in charge as I did under Gio in that I have actually no idea what our game plan is to break teams down and win games. I’m not necessarily suggesting we need a “style” but there seems to be no patterns or fluidity in our play other then working it wide for Borna or Tav to put a cross in. Sadly I can see us sticking with him until it’s already too late and we’ll find ourselves in the exact same position as we were in last year. And after all that talk before he was appointed of how we’d have won the league in 2022 had he and Gerrard stayed you can’t help but think he’s a bit of a bellend.
