  1. Think had groin strain per ally during week..not b sad to see him go, plus if it frees up money, with whits out (thankfully on current form), he mayb tried bartley there as poss cover for mcmillan today thou I fear will b other way about...either way think barts can do job there if required..
  2. Definitely true couldn't name the team we were playing, think was around 8 nil on aggregate at time.
  3. Was he not a feyenoord for work permit reasons be great if could happen, make a similar impact to Weiss.
  4. Really straight to name calling, wot an imbecile (get a dictionary).
  5. Oh right so if we just keep doin it cos it worked before then yr happy...come on.
  6. Just seen team for today absolutely gutted, soul destroying stuff but David healy, 4 centrehalfs it just feels like a kick in the baws! Loved to b proved wrong but bad start as far as I concerned!!
  7. Think Davis will always suffer in a weak midfield who can't pass the ball ten yards he needs better support. Ally imo won't get any decent money to spend and in all honesty prob doesn't deserve it after some of the wasters who hav been brought in, minus the defenders. It's a worrying, he really needs to blood some youngsters perfect time as we are fuckin torture to watch the now...david fuckin healy smacks of sheer desperation!
  8. Can't see it, speaks out then gets a game I hope so thou..
  9. Is lafferty injured or suspended, no mention of him in any of the teams, did he not score a hat trick last time we played at Kilmarnock?
  10. bit of a non event by sounds of it..
  11. By who? Lets face it if you were to trawl back thru the posts ppl were calling for McCoists head after some of the results you are referring to. Why do u think we have all forgot 3 cup exits?
  12. Do we ? since when? Most fans I assume will already know this along with the fact we have a new owner, play at Ibrox, wear blue...that wasnt the issue raised, it was the tone and wording of the article.
  13. Hi, I dont normally create topics and I dont know if its just me being slightly over-protective of all things Rangers at the moment given the current ongoings however, after reading the match report of the game last night in todays Scottish Sun: " NIGHTS like these used to be box office. The hottest ticket in town, the show everyone wanted to see. Red carpets and full houses. Big teams packed with big names whose bling flashed as brightly as their Hollywood smiles. Champions League football was virtually guaranteed in Scotland. Last night did nothing but confirm we're top of the Chumpions League. A night of entertainment that won't even go straight to DVD. It'll end up spliced to death on the floor of the cutting room. On an evening when TV sets all over Europe tuned into the best clubs on the continent, Rangers were playing a friendly against Liverpool reserves. King Kenny Dalglish didn't even bother risking Steven Gerrard for it. The one genuine superstar in his squad, not involved because the game meant so little. And it's not like we're talking ancient history. In the last few years Manchester United, Barcelona and Inter Milan have all graced Ibrox. In the last few years all three have lifted that giant trophy. Occasions like those took the roof off Ibrox. They were also something EVERYONE took for granted. Well here we are, wasting Champions League Tuesdays with games that should be played behind closed doors at Murray Park. Davie Weir and Lee McCulloch both got a start, finding their fitness as they eye up regular slots in the Rangers first team. The Anfield side were the same, flooding the team with fringe players. Danny Wilson made a rare start as he returned to Ibrox. Craig Bellamy was there too, the former Celtic man booed every time he took a touch. On paper the result will make Gers fans smile. Beating Liverpool, a true Premier League giant? But the whole occasion must have made the 27,000 fans who turned up weep. A few months back when they played Malmo in a Champions League qualifier, the real deal was there for the taking. Now it's a distant memory. The way things are going, who knows how long it'll be before a Scottish team is back amongst the cream of European football. As for the bounce game itself? Well, Rangers did fine. Just ten minutes in Juan Ortiz sneaked into the box and hit the byeline. His cross beat keeper Doni but Sebastian Coates came to the rescue. Seven minutes later Ortiz threatened again but Doni smothered his drive. Steven Whittaker thought he'd given the home side the opener moments later. He spun brilliantly but Doni clawed away his 30-yarder.That only delayed the opener, though, and after Steven Davis swung a ball into the box, McCulloch stabbed a left-foot effort off the post, then off Fabio Aurelio and into the back of the net. Doni had to be sharp to save a Matt Mackay header after Lee Wallace hooked a brilliant cross into the box. Alejandro Bedoya eyed the looping rebound but the Italian keeper reacted well to punch clear. Midway through the first half former Gers kid Charlie Adam trotted up the touchline to warm up. The fans in the Broomloan Stand rose to cheer him chanting "Charlie, Charlie, give us a wave... " Changed days, eh? Not like a few years back when they used to boo him and brand the midfielder a dud. Clearly Adam — the Liverpool and Scotland regular — hasn't forgotten. His lack of acknowledgment was telling. After the break he did give a half-hearted wave, but it was clear he hasn't forgiven the Bears for the abuse. Rangers could have doubled their lead ten minutes before the break but Davis' lob landed on the roof of the net. Five changes at the break told you pretty much everything you needed to know about the game. Off came Allan McGregor, Wallace, Whittaker, Davis and Nikica Jelavic. On came Neil Alexander, John Fleck, Jordan McMillan, Ross Perry and Kyle Lafferty. Bellamy almost hit an equaliser as he turned and whipped a shot wide. At the other end, Lafferty had a shot touched on to the post by Doni, who scrambled back and smothered before it rolled over the line. Adam was given a run-out late on, then Andy Carroll went down in the box as Gers keeper Alexander raced out but the ref wasn't interested. The game fizzled out, just like the Champions League aspirations of Scots clubs. If our teams don't get their finger out, nights like these might just be the closest we get to Europe's biggest stage." To me this is a shocking article, verging on being derogatory maybe these media c*nts have took it upon themselves to pull their small manky minds together and try to run down the club. Rant over! 4 in a row here we go... if administration comes would we be the first team ever to win the league despite a ten point deduction?
  14. Pick of the signings. A great performance looks a helluva find.
  15. A win will do any which way we can. Lookin forward to see how these c*nts do after chasing shadows tonight. 2-0 Davis and Boca. Hope starts mckay, but can't see it, we need to go after this mob! No ortiz or broadfoot please.
  16. We're going to be selling players and slashing the wage bill at a far more alarming rate than we were under LBG. Source? As far as i can remember did we not sign a few players this season? Fail to see how we can be worse off than when Lloyds were holding the purse strings, unless of course you can rhyme off the signings we made in the past 3 seasons; excluding Jelavic?
