Are the administrators in court re Ticketus today? Anyone know? i understood it would be complete over course of yesterday and today.

yeah despite everything involved in the CW saga you cant argue with the above, it was more silent knights than blue knights before he came along!

So as I understand now, the Ticketus dispute is not as to whether CW had authority to sell of part of an assets future earnings of when he did not actually own the asset. Instead its whether Ticketus can be included as a creditor in which case they can take whatever pence in the pound the CVA is agreed for. Is it just me thats not picked this up immediately i thought the court case pertained to the legality of the contract not its inclusion in a CVA. Administrators I feel should have clarified this a bit clearer.

Massive legal fight if the result goes our way it will be a big stride forward

I am sceptical of ticketus. Bottom line until we establish their legal claim and whether the deal signed with CW can be legally binding I am favouring other bids. As i said only sceptical at moment and by no means would i be unsupportive if that deal turns out to be the best.

So the ticketus deal was completely legal and Rangers whether it be a newco or the existing Rangers will be liable to Ticketus for this debt. I am surprised mate dont doubt it but I have yet to come across administrators saying this. I am glad he has serious cash behind him, with rumours of other bidders he may need it.

So he knows more than the administrators? I know that you support P Murray and I understand the reasons behind it with reduction of debt etc however i think even the administrators are becoming tired of his constant media appearances. Also per his statement today he is still looking for investors doesnt sound like a man who has all the pieces in place. Only time will tell i guess.

Bit premature since the administrators are still arguing over Ticketus' actual liability against Rangers. Or more importantly the validity of the floating charge held by Whyte over Rangers which is basically the Ticketus money. IMO we dont have the full facts on this yet.

Fair play to you blue knight I think yr hearts in the right place but something more organised and structured with clear attainable goals is required. We need a united support ( no not fuckin dundee) in order to truly show our full strength. Hoping next 48hrs brings more answers.

Quite surprised by the info however i dont doubt its true. Particularly disappointed if Naismith is one of the players, this is a guy who has basically been injured for around 3 years and has been supported every which way by the club. If the above is true and despite the fact imo he is our best player he can get tae .... I can also reveal that although an adverse decision by the tribunal that is considering the EBT case could saddle Rangers with a bill of £24 million in back tax, £12 million in interest and as much as £14 million in penalties, HMRC will not stand in the way of a Company Voluntary Agreement – through which creditors emerge with a percentage of the cash owed to them – and that this has been sanctioned at Treasury level. This is at least a bit more positive, i imagined that HMRC would want a bit of something rather than all of nothing. Once again however it appears Mr Shyte is holding the cards! Huge Sigh!
