  1. Don't worry folks, we've still got the euro-millions to look forward to
  2. Finland v Sweden Slovakia v Russia Cyprus v Denmark Greece v Crotia Turkey v Germany all over 2.5 goals £5 = £197
  3. Cheers man, I wasn't too sure if they travelled in large numbers or not. I think travel for away fans is the main problem with the Atlantic League idea.
  4. I'm just happy that different league formats are being talked about and explored. Things have to change and the possibility of Rangers v Ajax/Copenhagen/PSV/Anderlecht every other week as opposed to St Johnstone/St Mirren/Dunfermline etc would be exciting for us fans and in turn the tv companies, meaning more money for us. I agree with some of the concerns on here about travel but I'm just wondering how things like this work in America. Do fans travel to away games in MLS/NBA/NHL/NFL ?. Obviously the reason I ask is the travelling distances involved I imagine would be longer than the proposed Atlantic League, so does anyone know do fans travel to away games in America and if they do are there schemes to help out travelling fans ?
  5. Yeah I saw it, looked a sore yin. Don't know how many times I've been standing there daydreaming and a ball has just missed me. Do you think some players do it on purpose ?
  6. The OP done very well cashing out while in profit because this kind of betting can be very dangerous to your bank balance. For anyone confused with lay betting it is that you are essentially the bookie. When you lay a bet you are accepting a bet from another punter which he thinks will win. If the punter's bet loses then you keep his stake, however if his bet wins you are liable to pay him out like any normal bookie. Anyone trying this on Betfair just be very careful and make sure that you can afford any potential payouts.
  7. Iain Dowie on soccer saturday is brutal, he sounds like a motorbike struggling to start in the snow.
  8. Loved the 3-2 game against Porto. A great comeback and cracking atmosphere. Big Kyrigiakos' header was fucking marvellous.
  9. Club deck has the best view in Ibrox, but you could hear a mouse fart up there as it is so quiet. Also the stairs are an absolute bastard.
  10. The big bang was a Dorin Goian pimp.
  11. Dorin Goian invented the microwave.... to test the boiling point of a cat.
  12. The thing with big Laff is even if he's not having his best game, he makes up for it with his closing down and constant effort. The improvement in his game over the last 6 months has been an absolute joy to watch and long may it continue. Well done big man.
  13. Would defo start Papac. Might be wrong here but did he no play for Bosnia recently so he should be fit. Mon The Papac.
  14. Definately big Dorin and Sasa. They're like two hitmen for the eastern european mafia.
  15. I started a topic to have a discussion about how we can as fans improve things at Ibrox and certain people accuse me of being a tim. Anyway, I realise we pay a lot of money as supporters. I'm over £400 a season for my ticket. I am not saying it should be mandatory on your season ticket that you must pay the £10 a month, but they could have a section in the cccs form where you could opt-in if you wanted. I also reckon gers fans abroad would love to do this to contribute to the club as they couldn't attend many matches.
  16. Aye right pal. I just thought it was a refreshing idea to help us see some more quality at Ibrox but as one poster as already pointed out there's nothing to safeguard us against a Beattie type signing.
  17. I was listening to the real radio phone in yesterday and a guy phoned in with an idea which I think could help us have a guaranteed transfer fund each season. This has probably been discussed before but here we go. Basically it was suggested that fans could put £10 a month directly into a transfer fund with it to be solely used to buy players. I know it's tough economic times at the moment and of course we already pay for season tickets, merchandise, travel etc, but how satisfying would it be to know that we; the fans could buy a player. Numbers wise, 50,000 people would generate £6 million a season but that could be optimistic. So if half that amount contributed we would generate £3 million which would mean a Jelavic type signing each season. No doubt people will shoot this idea down and that's fine but this would help us particularly in years where we don't make it into europe and there's no money to buy players. Thoughts?
  18. I get the feeling 1 more bid will come in. Hurry up and shut that windae ffs.
  19. If they are moving out on loan, I hope we send someone each game to watch their progress. I just get the feeling they could do really well at these clubs but would no doubt be sold on their return.
  20. Talking about the phone ins. Did anyone hear that guy Declan on real radio today. He said the sfa should discipline Ricky Foster for missing that chance he had against us on Sunday when he hit the bar, as it was deliberate and his heart was still at Rangers. He was deadly serious. I nearly crashed ma van laughing at the silly cunt.
  21. It was recently installed on the request of our new sweeper. Dick van Dyke fae Mary Poppins.
  22. Graham Dorrans is a great shout. Im pretty sure he hasn't started a game this season for West Brom. Very creative player who would chip in with a few goals.
  23. My big worry is that this Leicester bid will have alerted other teams to make a bid for him. I really hope he stays but anything around the £10 million mark and I think our board have got a massive decesion to make. I also wonder if Jelavic has a minimum fee clause in his contract similar to Cuellars ?
