  1. I was going to say what have Southend done to deserve this, however, after some of those forum quotes, please enjoy 'Big Rob' with my compliments!
  2. Hope we'd get rid of him permanently when he fucked off, however, due to the wage he'll be on, probably was unlikely. Good news, though. One of the least likeable players to pull on our jersey.
  3. Think remember him saying they won the whole play-off style set-up, same style as you've got with the ice hockey, NBA in the US. Can't claim I've seen much Mexican league myself, haha
  4. If he could have taken the other dud we were saddled with at the same time, this news would be even better.
  5. Dorrans plays at No.10 and puts in the season of his life to finish top scorer and offer a real challenge to the MM. Back in reality, probably Miller
  6. Two strikers, two strikers, mate??? In this day n age, your off your tattie Sadly we don't have anyone who doesn't make us regularly look shite to play all these marvelous fashionable formations. Although, that said, I don't know if it's more horrific seeing Waghorn wide in a 4-4-3 or the man in the middle. Herrera may not have managed 90 mins, but your right, we actually looked a threat.
  7. One of the young guns could hardly have been a worse option; not that I think either DM played particularly bad, or even play Holt whom, far from being great, at least offers a bit more upfront. Personally wouldn't have done any of the above. I know there seems to be an aversion to a 4-4-2 these days for some bizarre reason, but if you have the squad we had available, train, prepare for and play a 4-4-2 for Christ sake. We were against a team of plodders who showed the square root of fuck all at Ibrox.
  8. Can't believe this was even a debate. The day we are accepting we need two DF Mids against the fucking fourth place team from the European powerhouse of Luxemburg, that's the day we should all fucking give up.
  9. Our 'quality' down the flanks is completely shocking. Some good additions perhaps in Jack, Dorrans and the like, however, we need a real bit of quality out wide and it's not even questionable.
  10. Good luck to Graham. Hopefully he's what we mostly expect him to be!
  11. Should be nowhere remotely near a Rangers eleven again.
  12. For me we absolutely need some real (relative) quality on the wings, be that as a winger or a full back. Preferably two. Should it be a FB, it might be a novel concept and handy if they could actually defend.
  13. Effort, following through of whatever mental tactics we were applying against a team of plod and plumbers, two sitting midfielders protecting our back line, etc.
  14. As I mentioned, the whole shit show was pathetic.
  15. Personally thought Progres looked a lot more dangerous when the fucker was subbed on. All about opinions, mate, just don't see what anyone could see in him, certainly not a club like ours.
  16. Think if we are having Holt at AMC then we'll probably finish fourth, bud. Don't think he provided an assist last year, let alone a goal. I'm hoping Dorran's will arrive and take on more of that role. If he's dropped deeper at Norwich, (don't watch Championship and just based on what I've read here), then I'd presume the bit drop off in quality up here in general would allow him to easily pull some strings in a number 10 kind of role.
  17. Genuinely cannot recall a sub performance in recent memory so fucking horrific. 'Closes down', used loosely, for the first goal like a fud and commits a stupid foul to get us humped out of Europe altogether. Presented with a guilt edge chance which my cat could have nodded in. And the cunt wasn't even on for a full 45 minutes. Get him punted ASAP.
  18. As much as Pedro does assume full responsibility for that shit show last night, the effort and application displayed by a large number of those players, imo, was a complete joke until their second goal went in. At least then they all looked interested and half of them could give a fuck when it looked like we were being punted out. Fucking disgraceful all round.
  19. Could very well have some new faces in before the second round, if we add some genuine quality such as Dorrans for instance, rapidly changes the complexion of the team. Alves too.
  20. Clearly means he might rate him, however, not enough to play him for the bigger games, or he'd be in there and not benched. They are here to be impact players, and better than what we currently have, or why are they here. Obviously MW doesn't consider him at that standard or he'd be involved in the bigger games. You think all three of them have majorly contributed to a run, and in a way that a Rangers player couldn't? As remember, that can be the only rational as to why they are here besides future options. I'd hate to see a similar scenario next season if those are the extent of the contributions. I wouldn't say any of them have provided much of anything that one of our own players couldn't have achieved. The possible exception being Ball as we are weak at CB. Even he has look shaky. That would probably be the reason I qualified my statement on Law in a previous post if you had read it: specifically mentioning he was one of the first to go missing under the previous regime. Another poster mentioned Law, I happen to think there would be two or three I'd have in ahead of him. That doesn't change the fact that when Law has been selected in front of him this season, he's been far more direct and offered a lot more.
