  1. Makes me cringe so much how half of you have Luca Gasparotto down as the next Maldini without having really ever seeing him
  2. Deary me. Petrol Mendes world class passer! Outside of the boot, nice control and great touch. All which roped us (actually just YOU) into thinking he was a world class passer. Slightly above average.
  3. I am absolutely gobsmacked people consider John Fleck under rated lol. Hopeless is an understatement.
  4. At this moment in time, for me, there isn't. I also think the goalkeeper one is funny, I think alot of people just hear that someone is world class, without actually seeing them play enough. I don't think that there is a defender/defensive midfielder that at the moment, is head and shoulders above the rest in his position. Get me?
  5. For me mate its Ronaldo, Messi, Iniesta, Falcao & Reus. At this very moment in time, in that order. Tam Muller is pushing aswell.
  6. Sums it up perfectly. I've never thought there has been more then 5 world class players at any one time. I get frustrated at in particular Rooney & Bale being discussed as world class.
  7. Haha, I take your point. Ronaldo, Messi, Iniesta, Falcao? I would put them in my elite, Bale Suarez Xavi et care unbelievable, but world class, not for me.
  8. I think I have a different view on a "world class" player. We have had some absolutely exceptional players, but in my opinion world class is being in the very very elite best in the world, currently I would say only 3-4 players in the world are world class.
  9. At least the "illegal" songs generate a bit of an atmosphere. Which btw, is 100% lacking and because we have this game on Saturday sold out and plan on being noisy for a whole 60 seconds doesn't mean that we have an atmosphere. I'd much rather listen to an "illegal" song around the stadium that waines and women clapping there hands to the singalong pish.
  10. It's a shame we have to wait until this home game, on the 54th minute to create a decent atmosphere.
  11. Evening Bears, Decided to take a bit of time just viewing RM instead of posting during all our troubles, and to be honest i didn't view for a while either, due to frustration/upset/anger. Back now though, and one thing that has grabbed my attention this season is our support. My views are split, yes we have a great support in terms of quantity at home games, but can we all really say we go to Ibrox and enjoy the atmosphere? Many many times, ive thought to myself how amazing our away games are. Some of the days/nights ive had had at Pittodrie, Tannadice, Easter Rd, Parkhead, Tynecastle etc are just absolutely brilliant. Standing all game, singing, bouncing. Creating a buzz, an atmosphere and no doubt giving the players an added boost. Regardless of what anyone on here says, this does NOT happen at Ibrox, can anyone tell me why? Ibrox should be an intimidating venue for any team to visit, loud & hostile! Unfortunately having young guys clapping there hands singing "four men had a dream" just doesn't do it for me, and it certainly doesn't do anything in terms of intimidating our opponents. Why? Which brings me to my next point, some might say its the standard of the league we play in? I say that's nonsense, even in the SPL, we can be as good as silent at times. Some say its the standard of football? Again, I say that's nonsense. Independent of our opponents/performance, our stadium should be fucking rocking, the football should be a day out in my opinion. Has anyone on here ever heard of a German side called Dynamo Dresden? They play in the second tier of German football. The standard of football they play is below us, there standard of opponent is on par with us, and there attendances are half of ours. Would you know it? Never. This team are the equivalent to our Hamilton or Falkirk, yet average 26,000 at home this season. As i mentioned though, it's not all about quantity, but what they lack in attendances compared to us they eclipse in atmosphere. I'll attach a video, these guys are unbelievable. 1st-90th minute, every game. I can't help but think that if we made Ibrox the fortress that it could be should be has been, not only will our football improve, but make our Ibrox experience better as a whole. http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=ozHNBOsxr34
  12. Afternoon Guys, Watched this video earlier guys & summed up for me what we are currently going through. I suggest taking 90 seconds to watch. Let the others come after us, we welcome the chase, we will never hide from it, never fear. Inevitably we shall have our years of failure , and when they arrive, we must reveal tolerance and sanity. Through thick and thin
  13. He doesn't do walking away. Fucking hero, none of the administration nonsense will be hurting anyone more than him & winning today won't mean anymore to anyone than him. Legend
  14. Absolutely mate, I totally agree. I just don't like us being like Celtic in the sense "Refs are cheating us". We should be beating a hearts team of that quality well before the 80th minute anyway. Sad times
  15. And that was also a penalty. I'm more pissed off at Goian, he's a fucking liability and he has been for weeks. A complete shambles, a complete fucking shambles. We can't even beat hearts, fair enough all we have been through, they should still be able to beat the likes or Killie & Hearts if not only for the fans that have all spent hard earned cash to go
  16. The referee is not a disgrace. Dorin Goian the liability is at it again.
  17. Great to see McCabe getting his start today. No idea why people keep mentioning Celik, the game time he has had he has offered absolutely nothing at all!
  18. Glad to hear it. Appeared to me he was just up here for a jolly instead of actually fighting for Glasgow Rangers
  19. Absolutely fantastic guys. Makes me proud to be a bear, just send me your Internet banking details and I'll sort the money out myself But in all seriousness, that's what it's all about guys. Through thick and thin
  20. Funnily enou I've just finished watching this, could bring a tear to a glass eye. That's why I love this club
  21. Haha, trust me my grandfather an my old dad haven't been shy in telling me some of there good times. I'm sure all you other bears have your own favourites, but hey, the message is the same. Glasgow Rangers is in our blood
  22. Gazza hat-trick Vs Aberdeen for 8IAR Brian Laudrup header against Dundee United for 9IAR Winning the treble under Eck/Advocaat The Neil McCann game, winning the league at Parkhead. Trouncing them 3-9 and watching our team do the huddle, celebrating a league win on there patch! Buffel to Lovenkrands, running from the half way line and slotting it home. The tension after the final whistle waiting to hear the Porto score and then hearing the announcement we had reached the last 16 ("Is this the way to Amarillo" played if I'm not mistaken) McCanns cross......LOVEEEENKRANDS! Can you remember that feeling? A last minute winner against them in the Scottish cup final. THAT Nacho Novo penalty against Fiorentina, I remember feeling on top of the world that night "Manchester brace yourself....RANGERS ARE COMING!" that commentary will come with me to my grave Walter Smith returning and winning us the league 3 years in a row THAT start against Kilmarnock. The nervy game we had expected and after 7 minutes...3IAR was ours Just a few of my great recent memories of being a Ranger. Yea these are dark times but we have been with the club through all the great times, let's support them through these dark days and return to the top once again. United we stand, divided we fall.
  23. I'm not just saying that as I'm a dye in the wool bluenose... But if it isn't copied off us, Celtic fans patter is literally atrocious
  24. A few beers tonight aye. Been thinking about the good times and we've had plenty. Buy hey, we're Glasgow Rangers, we enjoyed the great times with the club, we'll stick it through the bad and once we're out the other side and back to our winning ways we'll be able to have our chest out, head up and say "We're Glasgow Rangers" United we stand, divided we fall.
