  1. walter smith took him to Everton if I remember correctly.
  2. That's brilliant . He'll not be supporting any other team now
  3. Cheers for that But performance wise they need to get off too a brighter start ! Yeah I read on here somewhere that he scored six in a game last season. Hopefully he will fill out a bit but looks promising for the future
  4. Danny Baker ‏@prodnose 4h funny tweet by Danny Baker Celtic are currently 2-0 down to a side whose previous best result was a draw against the touring cast of Are You Being Served.
  5. didn't I here on one of the Rangers podcasts that Green had volunteered to donate his 1 grand a month salary to charity ?

  7. Cheers, fantastic read that. Glad it sounds he's doing alright.
  8. comes up with error League details do not match
  9. decent game played at a decent pace with a bit of passion with 5 good goals. enjoyed it
  10. Same as most on here , don't think he's needed . If Cammy Bell was to get injured and Gallacher was out on loan could you not just recall him ? Would like to see Alan Smith given a start if Bell was to get injured. We are only playing amateurs and semi- professional's in our league , surely he could be risked in a division we should walk to the tittle .
  11. Would like to see these players moved on but I doubt you could get a fee for any of them and I guess the wages they are on very few teams in Scotland could afford them . Maybe Cole might have a future ahead of him but I cant see much in any of the other players mentioned.
  12. Cheers for the montage , excellent once again Julescotia Same as Gogzy was working so haven't seen any of the goals.
  13. Think he means Charles Green sitting down flanked by the Easdales not the Mark Dingwall photo
  14. Went for Wallace just due to his consistency , Normally scores a 7 out of 10 or higher. If played this year Macleod has the ability to start controlling and affecting the outcome of more matches but most of the players performances need to improve week in week out.
  15. Tried to order some tickets for Hull City Tigers first game 'We've sold out' he said. I said 'I know but I'd still like some tickets please' stolen from twitter
  16. :crab1: Rangers Racoons :crab1: :crab1:
  17. After noticing the Hull City chant in the " Worst Ever Chant thread " came across this article from there owner Assem Allam who is to formally rename Hull City to Hull City Tigers from the start of the season. Sounds like something they would do in America , or what they did with the 20-20 cricket teams. Not impressed , would you like it if someone came in and changed it to Glasgow Rangers Bears for marketing reasons ! Shame as I have a soft spot for Hull City. Hull owner Assem Allam has confirmed the club will be formally renamed Hull City Tigers from the start of the new season. The move will do away with the Association Football Club (AFC) moniker which has been part of the Yorkshire club's name since their formation over a century ago. Revealing the move in the Hull Daily Mail, Egyptian-born businessman Allam said: "Hull City is irrelevant. My dislike for the word 'City' is because it is common. "City is also associated with Leicester, Bristol, Manchester and many other clubs. I don't like being like everyone else. I want the club to be special. "City is also associated with Leicester, Bristol, Manchester and many other clubs. I don't like being like everyone else. I want the club to be special." Hull owner Assem Allam "It is about identity. City is a lousy identity. Hull City Association Football Club is so long. "In the commercial world, the shorter the name, the better. The more it can spread quickly." Bernard Noble of the Hull City Official Supporters' Club was philosophical about the news, telling BBC radio: "I'm disappointed because I'm a bit of a traditionalist. "But this guy saved us from liquidation and administration and it's his club. "There will be disappointment there but I think we will realise that going into the Premier League we want to be a bit different, and he wants to be that bit different to get the business up and running. "He's a very, very successful businessman."
  18. cheers for the summary Seems like we have a long way to go before we can get some sort of fan unity though as we cant even get halfway down this thread without the fallouts starting. Think that is more stressful than owt.
  19. we have roughly 10 million pounds in the bank , nobody sure if its made up of remaining ipo money or season ticket sales. Accounts to ome out soonish . large bonuses payed to board and management (I think if I;ve remembered correctly) for winning league. Board not happy with Greens outbursts, to have a meeting soon to discuss it. McCoist happy with Daly and wants to play more attacking football this year . Eveyone happy with the guys updating live from the meeting and the speed of the thread due to having the guests locked out.
  20. Allan Johnston the manager who did fantastic for QoS but he's just left them to take the helm at Kilmarnock . If he continues in that form , would be a great appointment but cant see it happening as the timings all wrong .
  21. I know he scored in his debut where Accrington Stanley won 3-2 . A Stanley lost 2-0 to Barrow at the weekend, mate went to watch it and said Naismith never played so not sure what's happening. Nothing on there website about him signing. James Beattie now the Accrington Stanley manager.
  22. If true got to agree with Mather there. It seems like it's quite difficult for us to remove some of the dead wood from the playing staff. Think I've only heard that Kai Naismith has been on trial with Accrington Stanley, not heard much about teams coming in for any off our players. Did we release Argiriou ? I know we come to an agreement with Alexander and released him but has he even sorted himself out with another club yet ? Looks like other clubs are put off by the quality of our players compared to what salary's they seem to be on . Seems we have got players queuing up to sign Pandza ,Bouazza ,Novo , Sidibe , Gordon .... might be difficult in freeing up some wages to pay for them.
  23. Decent performance, something to build on . Pass marks for everyone especially Law , full backs played well , Great finishes by Black and Templeton . Law's second was well taken as well .
