And they've got the guy with the worst track record of signings behind it.

I’ve an ex colleague( Liverpool fan)  I bump into often in the town who always says don’t worry Rodgers wil inevitably buy shite and turn on the board/fans

I know what he means we saw it a bit earlier in the season - put some pressure on them not sure they’ve got much bottle either (handed it to them with our collapse in those three games in 2024)

Everyone keeps saying "better managers or better players round him and he'd be better"

I cant imagine how having a better gaffer or a better squad would stop him from absolutely shitting the bed against any sort of winger who runs at him

Thats all on him, no one else

I think hes probably becoming passed his best but no doubt if you work alongside dross it brings you down/reverse is true.

the guy gets some amount of slagging - think there’s a big chance when we come to replace him (given his age inevitable soon) we’ll realise what we’re missing.

  3. I’ll trust Clement in this, much more to leadership than what you see in 90 mins.  Honestly though regardless of what happens guy has contributed so much over his time here and should be recognised as a brilliant servant to the club.  I think with players around him with better mentality (and a few less joke managers) he’d have really excelled like he did on the euro run.

I think you have to take in to consideration the extreme inflation in transfer fees.

Still don’t think he’s going for £20m - but if he does then all the better (as much as he’s a great keeper and seems a good lad…that is a fair decent profit!)

  5. Honestly can’t remember a time since about 2011 when we were regularly first to loose balls or to press quickly when we lose possession - we always look off the pace and that’s been under (admittedly mostly dire) numerous managers.   Even when we’re good we don’t seem to do it well!

Some might be lying but others are likely just not willing to play through the pain barrier of a slight niggle i think as well

Whereas in the run to seville you could imagine players actively hiding injuries just to keep their place

Another reason (if true) why i hate this shower of losers, they should be willing to run themselves into the ground for the club

I think from Clement’s comments today (or yesterday?) making clear a rebuild was required in summer including bringing in younger players with sell on and some experienced ones, suspect quite a few can see the writing on the wall.

Clement “ we have 11 players injured for tomorrow ,this is a thing we need to change for next season”  don’t talk absolute shite , 3 players were injured in a game yesterday ,do you stop them going into challenges?  Cortez was injured on killies pitch ( do you stop him playing on an artificial pitch?)

ridvan was injured in an international game ( do you stop him playing international football?)

What absolute shite, clement ,your starting to sound like other shite managers we’ve had

Think he means as far as medical team, sport science and pre-season/fitness why so mad?

They don’t need to do much to stay ahead though - millions more coming in from the CL.
We have work to do but we’ve got to get it right.
Watch us linked with every injury prone player or player who’s ’lost their way a bit ‘ in the summer

We are a lazy fucking club

I didn’t think we looked too bad under Gio early on, the real shambles was appointing Beale who had a very limited track record.  I felt PC appointment is good (he’s got experience at least!) which I hope will drive standards in recruitment…

It’s what celtic have and we don’t. They have no real ‘hard men’ just players who are a much better quality than us.

You take O Riley and put him in our team and he improves us hugely. Keep hearing they are shite but they are miles better than us. We can’t lay a finger on the cunts

You’re absolutely right - look at the best teams these days - no hard men just teams filled with athletic, pacey players.

Our current squad would get football stopped. We played well against Hearts a while back - the rest has been the same boring turgid shite.

It needs a massive overhaul of a squad again - we are in this same position every fucking season

Agree, I think their squad overall has better quality but has been poor this year.  We’ve got worse players but Clement got them playing really well for a sustained period.

that said with less injuries and a few additions I do think we’re not that far away.  End of the day it’s been narrow margins - the fact that’s the case says a lot about the manager and the squad given where we were before PC came in.

2 down in every one, not pressing them in every one, full back focussed tactics in every one, shite midfield in every one, goals conceded at our left back position in every one. Fairly similar.

Not learning from his mistakes in the biggest fixtures.

No way he can cop the blame for the the OG today - and in fairness to the team looked up for it and got the goal back after the second.

hes come into this with a squad with serious issues - he’s taken us close and I’m sure with more time and a few additions we’ll be streets better

Doesn’t even make sense. The last game was 3-3, so how’s that a copy of anything and the two at celtic park we went a man down in both and went into both with injuries all over the place

Just the usual toys out the pram because we fucked it (which I understand not exactly on cloud 9..).

people wanting PC chased are clearly forgetting our run of managers over the last 10 years - he’s clearly bright, driven, desperate to win and brought this squad (that we pretty much all agree has some/many major issues) so close.

  12. Absolutely think getting rid of him would be ridiculous - it’s not easy playing alongside some of the players we’ve had to field throughout.  Can anyone name a replacement that’s affordable and offers the same going forward?

wild that he’s the focus of all the ire, so many more squad members that need to do he’s well down the list, and our top scorer fs

  13. Just watched his comments looked absolutely gutted/destroyed - that’s what you want to instil in the team the sense of needing to win.  Anyone turning in the manager now is a bit ridiculous - look at the dross he’s had to work with and how shite we were under Beale (and latterly Gio).
