  1. Not trying to be funny mate but I can't recall any "decent" passes forward from him.
  2. I did read it, even in the context it does seem a strange thing to say to any footballer, "stay further up the park etc" or words to that effect fair enough but to say "stay away from the ball" well that's just such a weird thing to say IMO.
  3. It might answer a few questions, United telling him "stay away from the ball" or in other words "stay away from the ball, 'cos you're not very good"
  4. We desperately need pace in the midfield and someone who can play a forward pass quickly, I don't know if Kelly is the answer but I know for certain that Lundstram aint.
  5. Nope he wasn't, and there's the problem, he was rotten but wasn't the worst.
  6. TBH I have no idea mate, maybe the protestant church in Wales didn't set up soup kitchens for them in order to convert them as was the case in Glasgow according to certain historians.
  7. I think that's a different argument mate, I'm in no way condoning what has happened in those institutions but we're talking about educating children in schools who probably 99.9% go home after school and socialize with friends of different religions, what went on behind the closed doors of those residential schools was criminal/murder.
  8. I'm going to take a lot of shit for this but I'm going to say it anyway, this only seems to be a major problem in the west of Scotland, speaking for myself living here in Canada it's not a problem here where non catholics and catholics educated separately live in harmony, now don't get me wrong I have no time for catholicism but how can it be that in other parts of the world society can live together with separate education systems yet it's seen as a problem in Scotland? Scotland and particularly the west of Scotland's problems go a lot deeper because of the history of the immigration of so many Irish catholics concentrated in one particular area during the famine and the problems of integration that spawned from that not helped by the catholic church's input, as for this supposedly highly educated historian coming out with this bigoted nonsense, he's just adding to the problem with his one sided argument
  9. I stand corrected and retract my previous comments.
  10. For 10yr old tweets FFS, the world has gone mad.
  11. Still sticks in my throat that he would drop his mates so quickly, all about opinions.
  12. Really disappointed that Edgar has allowed his mates to be thrown to the wolves, I mean come on has the fact that H&H are official partners really made any difference to their output other than asking meally mouthed questions at the pressers?, they would still have close contacts within the club. I would have respected Edgar much more if he had stood by his mates and decided to step down as an official partner.
  13. That's the real issue here, until the authorities get real about tackling these issues nothing is ever going to change, they cannot keep demonizing one section of society and ignore the others and expect the side that are being demonized to quietly accept that this is an acceptable situation, and that is what I suspect is the subtle message in the last paragraph of that statement.
  14. I actually thought their defence played all right yesterday, from what I'd been told I expected a shitshow, but when I heard Gary Mc inform us that Kent was carrying a slight hamstring problem it kind of made sense, but the non marking of big Fil was hilariously criminal haha.
  15. Fuck me I didn't realize just how much room big Fil had to make his run, imagine leaving any CH with that amount of room on a corner, mental.
