  1. If McGregor ban is upheld, could the club be getting ready to take this further? The 24 hour delay suggests something is going on behind the scenes.
  2. I'm for VAR also. I agree it isn't perfect but it will stop the BBC acting like VAR. I would like to see some sort of CO for refs to monitor any complaints of inconsistency.
  3. Totally gobsmacked at this decision. The SFA/refs should never have given in to Lawwell and celtic's demands as it has led to the disciplinary system being well and truly broken.
  4. I'm all for the board hiring a legal team to build a case and take it to the very top of football governance if need be.
  5. Great post Maybe the shareholders can push the board into action, once they realise that all these wrongful acts are costing the club money.
  6. Sounds about right to me, the only thing i'd add is the financial fixing, because in a planned operation like you describe they would have known they would get the financial benefits
  7. Then he needs to start earning his crust or have none.
  8. I meant more in the way described in this post by Blumhoilann
  9. It is a scandal. Level 5 should be doing more to protect Morelos reputation in the media and highlighting how he is targeted by opposition players and the dark arts they use.
  10. Will the club have a record of who is reporting these complaints to the CO? It would be interesting to know who has made complaints over the last 8 years
  11. Agreed but the board could hire a legal team to take on the main protagonists.
  12. Agreed. It makes me wonder which team has been in front of the CO most in all the years the position has been around. I wouldn't be surprised if the CO position was created to make things harder for Rangers getting back to the top. I do hope the club are doing something about this, as the road ahead needs us to be winning trophies for the cash rewards and to do that we need a fair playing field.but I believe this goes deeper than just the CO. I think the SFA made a big mistake in allowing the rules to be changed because of the demands from Lawwell and celtic. There should be an enquiry as to why the SFA allowed this to happen. I also think Lawwell and celtic should be served with a cease and desist notice as they are the main protagonists.
  13. I think it's gone beyond statements now. Imo there is some sort of scheme going on to keep Rangers down, by targeting our brand, our players reputations and market values. robbing Rangers of points, giving the club fines and opponents trying to injure our players with horrendous tackles which would ultimately lead to medical bills. All have one thing in common, they all lead to financial loss for our club. This is where I believe King needs a battle plan he has over invested to get us up to speed, but how will he take us to the next level if he can't get his money back to reinvest, if it's not a level playing field I foresee a big battle between King and Lawwell in the future.
  14. I bet that went down well with Gerrard, undermining his management skills of allowing his team to celebrate after a win. I think all these nit picking managers are realising that Gerrard has achieved more in his fledgling year, than they have in their entire career.Maybe they fear they won't have a job when Rangers lift 55.
  15. I think it's time the club issued the papers a cease and desist notice as they are blackening Morelos' name and brand which will affect his player value.
  16. I take it Ally is a big NO for you?
  17. I'd give him a quids worth of clicks, if it gets the papers printing good neutral articles like that. 😜
  18. Bold part: VAR recordings could be used to backtrack over a period of games any complaints from players being singled out by a ref or from a player being the target of unnecessarily rough game play. Edit part: imo yes, the disciplinary process broke down because the SFA were too willing to say yes to the demands of Peter Lawwell and celtic to change the rules, refs don't make the rules, otherwise I would have said the refs strike. The strike was celtic flexing their muscles at the refs to make them compliant to what they wanted, when McDonald resigned celtic had won. After the strike celtic got away with all sorts because the refs had been intimidated. This is my personal opinion but the proof is in the yellow, red, and penalty statistics. Ally was there before and after admin and could put forward a case of bias towards the club and the players, so that one club (celtic) don't have the power to force a change of the disciplinary process to suit them in the future.
  19. Thanks for the info. I think they could lose the hate filled opinions and still keep selling their news. This is not the first time celtic fans were shouting about stuff. They shouted about our songs and the pundits gave it momentum until they were banned. Their now shouting about Morelos and a broken disciplinary system.
  20. They're not, see for yourself in the accounts https://beta.companieshouse.gov.uk/company/SC040033/filing-history
  21. I don't think so. When the clubs voted Rangers out of the league that changed everything. Managers wanted Rangers punished, The SFA wanted Rangers punished and refs carded our players more. It's this sort of stuff that has resulted into today's bias, as this hatred has rub off onto opposition players, who then try to get our players booked and refs who single out our players. VAR could help in situations like this. I think Ally has knowledge to help from this point of view. Edit: I think it is important to find the root cause of the problem and for me the league disciplinary process broke down because they were too willing to change the rules when it came to punishing Rangers and it's now bit them on the ass.
