  1. Imho, I don't think the issue is a religious one, but more a political one The insult is aimed at supporters of Sinn Féin. Therefore strict liability should be that of the political parties to educate society and not that of football clubs.
  2. Traynor makes some very valid points especially on how fans can help the club. Complaining to Ofcom should help the club get editorial fairness and protect the BBC charter from abuse.
  3. Good article dude. I've clicked on the link to support your article. I like how you have pointed out the inconsistencies when dealing with this issue. I do however think that some of the claims being made within football are to abuse the flawed Nil by Mouth system and harm Rangers financially. Personally i think the biggest problem Scottish football has is the hatred that is directed at Rangers. For me, this started when Lawwell and celtic campaigned to get Rangers booted out of the league and continued to push for punishments with their Res 12 campaigners. I think the SFA have made a rod for their own back in allowing the rules of the game to be changed to suit Lawwell and celtics agenda. The hatred manifests itself by treating Rangers differently and can be seen regularly by the opinions of opponent managers, horrendous tackles on our players, pundits playing at VAR on TV, the media constantly giving Rangers bad press and flawed systems that do not offer a level playing field for our club. Please could your next article be about this hatred and how it's ruining the Scottish game.
  4. Agreed. It's another flawed system that the club need to challenge for parity..
  5. Could this be an attempt to push for strict liability for clubs? It wouldn't surprise me if it was another flawed system in the making to keep Rangers down financially. Imho, Nil by Mouth should be investigating the hatred that is directed at Rangers from the league, opponent managers, players and fans, I'm sure there is a rule that one club can't disrespect another club.
  6. Seems to me that the BBC prefer to support their journalist, who was caught red handed lying about our club rather than following their charter on discrimination.
  7. I don't think SG or individuals within the team should be compared to anyone at this point in time. For me the time to do this is when there is a level playing field. I feel relieved SG ( the rookie manager) has spotted the flawed system with-in the game, something that experienced opponent managers have failed to do.
  8. For me that is a catch 22 situation. Imho, If the team show they have ability and aggression they are booked or cited. We seem to kick the ball the length of the pitch to avoid contact with our opponents and avoid the bookings. The flawed system is what is making our players look mentally weak and physically inept. The Club needs to address the system so that there is a level playing field, otherwise we'll be robbed of 10+ points for seasons to come. The club could hire a team of Rottweilers but until the playing field is level nothing is going to change.
  9. Good Post The only thing i'd add is that SG is having to fight a seriously flawed disciplinary system, that can be manipulated by our opponents and rob us of points. I think we would be in a better position points wise, if there had been a level playing field.
  10. There were no leaders out there today. The team needs to be able to adapt when key players aren't available. I don't think Morelos is a liability as he has only 1 red card that was deserved, I think a lot of his reputation has been made up by the media, they never seem to mention the opposition players who target him with sly digs and horrendous tackles.
  11. I don't think Defoe has found his mojo yet The team had 18 shots and only 1 on target. So the midfield were creating chances I've put Defoe's slowness today down to his injury aggravating him. Well done to Wes for keeping us at a clean sheet
  12. The board won't or can't publicly say anything on this until they have exhausted the process for complaining about this but I can't see what's stopping Supporters Voice questioning the CO role. My question would be .... The CO job seems to be a position of "in name only", as CW takes no part in the proceedings So, who is in charge when it comes to citing players and leading the process?
  13. Agreed. Isn't this what supports voice should be doing also.
  14. I'm for VAR, if they can come up with some sort of CO to keep a check on the refs consistency and prevent the system being abused.
  15. I agree but atm we are getting punished for nothing as those who do the punishing are not following the rules, which is why I think the club will tread carefully so as not to be accused of bringing the game into disrepute. I can't help but think the game is rigged to keep us down and given half a chance I think Lawwell would campaign to see us booted out of the league again. Re question Thanks anyway
  16. Good point but I think the club are treading carefully with public statements as the platform to complain is the SFA summit. Could you answer a question for me, could the club take these decisions to The International Football Association?
  17. Good Post Totally Agree with what you have stated. I expect Rangers will be treading carefully when talking about this in public, so as not to be blamed for bringing the game into disrepute, as we've already been fined.
  18. Just read this The CO job is obsolete. That wage should be used for full time refs
  19. Agreed. I think the club needs to tread very carefully, so that they are not blamed for bringing the game into disrepute and booted out of the league. Things need to change at a political level before changes can be pursued in Scotland. The Culture, Sport and Media at Westminster could look into a complaint of corruption, from an MP through the National Crime Agency and/or the Serious Fraud Office.
  20. He and the rest of the shareholders might not have seen that risk.
  21. Maybe suggest a stats tab for the official club web page.
  22. Good point. Could it be something to do with Lawwells goal of merging the SFA/SPFL? Several clubs backed Lawwell's idea of creating a new governing body of which he would be president. Maybe bringing the game into disrepute over the disciplinary system then blaming it on Rangers will give Lawwell what he needs to get his merger through. I say this because only our club has been fined for speaking out on these matters, he managed to get the majority of teams to vote us out of the league, he was capable of merging the SFL with the SPL, and he and his res 12 have been one of the main protagonist of pushing for further punishments for Rangers. I definitely see the pattern they used before with place men, attacking our finances and punishments
  23. Imo, they are still financially robbing us by targeting our brand, our players reputations and market values. robbing our points, giving the club fines and opponents trying to injure our players with horrendous tackles which would ultimately lead to medical bills. I hope our board wake up to this as we need to see a return on their investment so they can reinvest.
  24. The fouls on our players are worsening, At what point does violent conduct become a criminal charge? Are managers telling their players to play this way? Do managers have assurances that if their players are booked for playing in this way, that they will get off with it. I can't help but feel the game is rigged after this decision.
