  1. Jack has hit it on the head, the liberals have 'a voice' on forums and radio. Liberalism is old hat, it died in the 90's, no? - now is the time for a modernisation of this club, by way of renaissance. Let us return to the ways of yore and the standards instilled by our bretheren who went before us, whose path we now follow with honour. We are quite obviously at a crossroads and my opinion is that we should now hold closer than ever the traditions which made our great club Legend. Of course there may be some dissidents and trouble makers who will look to divide our support, we have witnessed it clearly on this very thread. Look folks, they have taken everything from us, they HATE who we are, please..please!!! do not allow them to take our heritage and the Legacy passed down from our forefathers, ask yourselves what the fans who made Rangers great would think of our actions could they see us now. I'm not saying its wrong for catholics to play football or that I take any displeasure should that particular faith be represented in any game, I would just urge that we look carefully at a return to a policy which served us well, gave us pride in our faith and football and which did not divide us as we have been since 1989 - the divisive seeds sown then are noticeable on many of the posts on this thread, let's just get back to basics with the Auld Songbook Ready for the new season
  2. Doubt they will increase the Prem, probably just the lower leagues, 4x a season does my head in
  3. Sabre rattling and grandstanding in the extreme yet you haven't managed to provide any justification why Rangers Football Club should be used as a platform for a minority of political and religious extremists. You are a dying breed of "fan", you and your counterparts in the east end will be forced to take it outside of Scottish football sooner rather than later. The rest of us can enjoy the football and get on with supporting the team. Good luck to anyone whatever creed or colour they are, I am no extremist I just want Rangers to remain true to what made us different from Clyde or Partick and the like, we must retain what set us apart. These past events, this Legacy is what makes Rangers, not the other way round. Anyone who cares about the club surely respects the social and religious morality set over 150 dignified years? How dare you try to pirate away my club in such a manner, disgusting.
  4. Is that an Octopus I see floundering on the beach? What a load of waffle from 'Paul'.
  5. Hmmm...And yet here you are requesting I return to CQN? Do the Rangers traditions and their associations with Queen and God "shame" you too as your fellow supporters so obviously do? Perhaps we do not want a 'cool' club with every trendy fanny with 'fifteen minutes of' disgracing the club, just maybe we do not wish to be seen as avant garde. We are sedate, we have our culture, we are Establishment in this little land. We have traditions, loyalty, brotherhood (and sisterhood ) that demand protection, as I said on another thread I am all for a short term financial downsizing if only it meant that our club reverted to type and re-establishes all the old traditions that made us what we are today. Without this passion for Legacy we are finished, to take two steps forward we MUST take a small step back and find our comfort zone, never before has upholding the ways set by our blood before us been so relevant - this for me is actual modern-thinking, not late 20th century passive, liberal flip-flopping hoping for a multi-cultures utopia which simply is not there!...now is the time for bold radical steps, preserve our club, traditions and way of life - your children will pass your name down in legend.
  6. The real 'joke' in this whole sorry saga we find engulfing Rangers at the moment is the division in our ranks. A noticeable deterrent, an obvious obstacle as we attempted to unite for the good of our club recently. You see at the heart lies a clandestine online campaign seemingly ordained by bleeding heart liberals. I say No to this shameful shirking of Rangers great traditions, people can't seriously be expected to surrender a Legacy so grand. In these times of repeated attacks bloodthirsty enemies are desperate to eradicate our club and our way of life, they won't stop once the wheels are in motion.
  7. One thing is clear 'fans' like you we can do without, particularly at this time of need. Now is a time to rise above the menace of Rome, an opportunity for the rank and file Ranger to rewind the Ibrox video and undo the damage that Murray sought to inflict on our great club...beginning with the day Johnston signed. 'The Murray Generation' have done enough damage to our club thank you very much, Octopus is a shining example of the Legacy left to us by he who sought to destroy Rangers, a man who clearly does not understand the value of tradition and loyalty - We are Presbyterian Scotland..and Presbyterian Scotland is us. The soil of our forefathers still belongs to us, the blood they spilt for this land must be redeemed.. we will not baulk nor stand for this silent revolution, these papal whispers that slowly bring us despair. Once we let our guard slip and before you know it we have this one and that one in the light blue, all of a sudden we can't sing our anthems nor speak our minds, we are labelled vile perverts by all and sundry and no one defends us yet - indeed we are expected to say sorry!!!...where does it all end I ask you? First they came for the communists, and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a communist. Then they came for the trade unionists, and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a trade unionist. Then they came for the Jews, and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a Jew. Then they came for me and there was no one left to speak out for me.
  8. Do we still have the transfer ban? Is Govou still on his way?
  9. Would it not be fantastic if we could have a team playing in Leagues on each side of the border next year, at the same time preserving the history of the old co and adding to it with an English Premier League championship one day soon? That would upset a fair few I reckon Maybe wishful thinking but watching both outfits battling through their respective divisions would be terrific, I think a berth down south would be fair compensation for everything we have been through with these clowns who tried to ruin us. Maybe we could use the Scottish team as a 'Kaunas' project, obviously we would have to rotate Ibrox weekly dependant on fixtures etc. What team do you reckon would 'catch on' more, I imagine it would be the team making their way in the English Leagues, particularly after the way we have been castigated and humiliated by our enemies nearby. edit: I see others were thinking the same, they can just type faster!
  10. Temporary I hope, used to love subbuteo back in the day. Hopefully Paul Lamond will soon release a statement advising that we will be back in next year's editions, its maybe not the game of choice these days but there was a real art in good subutteo play, a simple pleasure from a bygone era and happier days.
  11. Please don't label Atheism as a religion! Atheists are generally the people who constantly bang on about religion and bore less obsessive people who would rather talk about burds, football or UFC when drunk. Why all atheists feel the need to preach to others, typically in an animated and aggressive fashion, is one of modern life's mysteries - they have become everything they profess to hate, laughable people in general.
  12. This thread has certainly opened my eyes to the enemy within, smoked them out too, a great idea OP. Its easy to see why we are in this mess currently, the club has lost its identity thanks to the malaise cause by our supposed fans...'The Murray Generation' shall we call them? Some of the excuses and statments on these pages have made me sick. Just when did we throw in the towel to Rome? The one great possible outcome from our current troubles, the resolution I dream of (no matter should it momentarily make us a 'smaller' club in financial terms) is that we can revert to the old Ranger traditions (and songs) that made the club what it is today. Its clear that the day to day mixing with these...exotic peoples.. have weakened the resolve of many. Burn your bra well away from me Murray Generation, when this land becomes overrun by these ancient enemies you seek to shelter and befriend.. don't say you were not warned, our ancestors weep for you all.
  13. Yes! That's the talk we need, not enough of it...this is the talk of a real Ranger, head held high, proud to be of better stock and worthy indeed of our obvious superiority. Wise enough though not to hate those who are simply not worthy of a Good Protestant's scorn...I feel only pity for such lesser beings. The apologists amongst us are divisive and have weakened our support, we are being played from within...its all over these pages and also this thread.
  14. When will people stop looking to dismantle our traditions piece by piece, bad enough they look to kill our club? Can we please just put a hold on that while we regroup, now is the time for togetherness, a nod to legacy and show of dignity as only our great club can display. The magnificent ghosts of the past watch down on us today, they witness us more intently at this very moment than ever before... The day we began pandering to the PC type was the day we started on this road to near ruin.
  15. Division 3...Let them eat cake. Put that in your pipe Regan!
  16. Imagine it may revolve around those purchasing, and being allowed to purchase clubs. It should do in any case.
  17. Ha, Brilliant mate! And mark my words we are going to dance on the grave of Scottish Football as we make our way back to where we belong! It is the duty of all true Rangers to make the diddy clubs suffer as we mobilise and prepare for our glorious revenges! ...The others must never forget the true power of our glorious club, even in these darkest days when the lights are going out around us we will emerge as a beacon of light, a light to all those who include righteousness amidst their character, those who have a girth of dignity unrecognisable to our enemies. Fear not a jot, not on your nelly - We are not them, we are better and we shall follow on.
  18. Hmmm, they eventually turned on him and exposed the season book scam, but were they not the only two journo's labelling him a billionaire to begin with?
  19. Definitely, on occasion a real hero must emerge when others let us down. The name Lee Wallace signifies all that is good about our club at the moment, an international level player approaching his prime demonstrates loyalty such as this nay a year in to his time with Rangers. I think a few injuries later in his Hearts time allowed us to get him for such a moderate fee, playing for us will only improve him, it was good business and a we should all anticipate a lot more to come from him, our future Captain.
  20. Agree completely, I have some thoughts on the upcoming SPL meeting. If this goes to a secret vote, I will fully anticipate an SPL berth next season. Its not just wishful thinking, these clowns are flip-flopping, by going public they will be made to look ridiculous on July 04, however a 'Yes' vote will save their own club and may convince sponsors and other directors they have some semblance of competence. Even without a secret ballot there will probably be retraction of a sort, it may well be knife-edge whether we will obtain the required support...more shredded nerves afore us I'd guess. We will not forget what they have put us through, no, that will stay with us - I'm positively anticipating the dish best served cold will be served next season...and how! I'd still wish to see an interim boycotting of all clubs who have publicly humiliated us these past days, as a costly wee reminder of who calls the shots. Rangers are Scottish Football and in their hearts even the most bitter of our enemies know this more than ever before, that is triumph over adversity - WATP.
  21. he did look gutted yesterday but I've got to agree with the OP. Some of the nonsense he was spouting was hardly needed ammo for our enemies, and will be quoted ad infinitum.
