I really dont expect nor want sympathy from any other club and/or supporter. Just simply want our club to be handled the same way as any other club would be. Every club in Scotland has prospered from Rangers, now they want us dead and buried.

I am certainly concerned that there doesnt seem to be very much coming out of the Green PR office. No messages of reassurance for the fans etc. All too quiet for my liking

They need to do something so that all parties can vote for a positive move and save face. This could very well be it,

If we do remain in the SPL there will be no end to the calls of 'we saved you'. When in actual fact, if we were to stay in the SPL we would actually be saving them!

I think Charles Green needs to release some form of statement that reassures the fans that even in the worst case senario he has a plan to take us forward.

Exactly, with clubs like Hearts who have twice been publicised for not paying HMRC, Players etc on time, the hypocracy stinks

Its a nice thought but these guys will never give us respect, they feed off us and yet despise the club.

Im getting really fed up with all the shit getting thrown our way! You know the ‘rangers played players they couldn’t afford’, ‘they have lived outwith their means’ etc,etc, etc. Now I like most other Rangers fans am prepared to accept the punishment that fits the crime, but are our accusers prepared to? Its easy to have a kick at someone who is low, although I feel they benefited from a strong Rangers. Let me explain, If and I mean IF they want to think that way then the following MUST also be true. Following Rangers spending over the last two decades, Celtic and other clubs have increased the quality of their squads to try to compete. This has had the effect of increasing the quality of the leagues and has increased to TV money and sponsorship deals being inflated (admittedly not to the level seen in England). So arguably the SPL is now a better product and have a better level of sponsorship than it would have been. Every member club has therefore enjoyed money that they shouldn’t have had as a result, will they be punished as a result or look to restore their sporting integrity? The press for years have been going about how poor the SPL product has been, can you then imagine how bad it would have been. Now I’m not saying for a second that Rangers were therefore correct to conduct business the way it has done, because we shouldn’t have. However to me there is NO DOUBT that Scottish football as a whole has benefited from it.

HMRC will look to investigate and pursue those who they feel they can. Mr Murray and Whyte will not sleep too well tonight

I certainly wouldnt have wished for it, but at least we can look after our own merchandising again, catering etc. We are also debt free and have drawn a line in the sand where they cant drag us down with any other skeletons that may be produced from the cupboard.

Listen just because they dont suffer today, doesnt mean they wont! Their day is coming

We will need to see what their spite for us produces, however with no debt, no more skeletons to come out the cupboards we will be able to focus 100% on football again. We will also be able to look after our own merchandise and catering, with the proceeds going to help our club recover. As I say, it will be a fight but we WILL win the SPL next season

I also think we should relinquish our UEFA co-efficient voluntarily and watch timmy play quailifying round after qualifying round!

I know some of you will think I am on the glue here. We WILL be voted back into the SPL as ther will now be a lot of SPL chairmen looking at their P&L sheets and wondering how they will cope. We will keep those players who WANT to stay and bring in those who WANT to come. Then we WILL go on and win the SPL next season, with timothy spitting feathers! I dont believe that Green lied to anyone, HMRC would not put themselves in a position where they committed an opinion until they had to. Mr Green may well have been given the nod about the CVA being accepted, however there is two issues that could have changed their minds since. Firstly the amount of publicity that this particular case is getting would have worked against us and secondly we were touted as being their 'test case' for the big tax case, they can now pursue someone else without the precedent being set for them accepting a deal.

yeh he raised it from ticketus, using the clubs money, who knows that Green isnt doing something similar. As I say, I am a supporter of the Green consortium more than any other. However, the fact that he hasnt raised the money yet does give me cause for concern and I continue to watch and listen to all arguments.

Surely that puts him more in the same category as Whyte then, can the money not be returned to the investors should he fail to purchase? Thats what he is working towards I thought. This is not an argument I thought I would be making as I do think he is the way forward, I am however keeping an open mind and trying to look at the situation as it develops.

I do think if we are waiting on a saviour that satisfies all our fans before they buy us, we will be waiting a very long time. At some point we need to accept someone to save us and the green consortium are the only ones who have stepped up, TBK talked the talk but seemed to be unable to walk the walk IMHO. Understandably we are all suspicious, but that can only be a good thing when our saviours are only interested in making money.
