  1. He and his group did call fellow fans (and their kids) "Scum" a few weeks ago outside of Ibrox. How that hurt Sports Direct...it has never been explained. To be honest...what has the protests of Sports Direct over the past year accomplished other than trying to direct money into the pockets of those organizing the protests? Has it helped the club with their negotiating position? No.
  2. http://www.mayoclini...on/con-20025568 Narcissistic personality disorder is a mental disorder in which people have an inflated sense of their own importance, a deep need for admiration and a lack of empathy for others. But behind this mask of ultraconfidence lies a fragile self-esteem that's vulnerable to the slightest criticism. A narcissistic personality disorder causes problems in many areas of life, such as relationships, work, school or financial affairs. You may be generally unhappy and disappointed when you're not given the special favors or admiration you believe you deserve. Others may not enjoy being around you, and you may find your relationships unfulfilling.
  3. I still listen to it from time to time...loved Rangerschat and enjoyed my conversations when I was on "air" a few of the times.
  4. No doubt that there are diamonds in the rough no matter the league nor the Country. That being said, the percentages are very, very low and for every Vardy, there are 99% that will not reach the English Championship...much less the EPL. Hopefully the finances are there to take a few of these types of lads and see how the dice are rolled in terms of achieving their potential individually. I just think that with MW's system, he has adopted a fantastic way of taking players with a few solid tools (but not necessarily all the tools) and tactically putting them into position to achieve success as a team. Given the finances in the Scottish game, that is exactly the approach needed.
  5. Isn't that the truth. Whoever advised them that Resolution 11 was legal and could not be challenged needs to refund their fees received back to the club.
  6. Did the tour when I came over last August and got a lot of great pics. It was a fantastic tour and really enjoyed being pitch level as well as the trophy room.
  7. No....normal folks sell their shares if they didn't want to make a choice between voting for a Giant Douche and Stinky Turd.
  8. The next thing this guy will do is a book....that is usually the next step of a profiteer.
  9. I remember coming home from work early to watch that one on the TV here in the USA and then watching Alloa win it in the 2nd half was deflating. I could have swore I saw Kris Boyd at the KFC outside the pitch just after halftime when the camera panned the crowd.
  10. Given the amounts spent and the expected lives, they should show up on the Balance Sheet of the Financial Statements as an Asset of the club. If I get bored shitless, I may look to see how much assets rose from the initial Balance Sheet to the two subsequent Balance Sheets for Year 1 and Year 2
  11. Gracias. Interesting language on "installments" in that statement. Did we pay everything?
  12. Don't see him leaving for a lesser job. Anyone in the Championship in England is a lesser job.
  13. I have asked the question before but who supplied the advertising Boards on the field at Ibrox? Are they owned by the Club? Owned by Rangers Retail JV? Or were they bought by Sports Direct and "loaned" the the club in return for advertising?
  14. Aird was listed as a defender for Canada in their Wirkd Cup qualifiers recently. I think he has made the switch.
  15. He is 4 years removed from playing travel soccer at a club in Baltimore MD....he is still a work in progress and developing. He has not had the best of runs for both club and country but looked a tad bit better with the US U21s recently playing at the 10 in a 4-2-3-1.
  16. No. Maybe according to Martian law.....
  17. The outcome of the fraud trial will not have an impact unless Sports Direct is implicated in wrong-doing. Given the evidence at hand and the fact that Sports Direct has not been charged, the likelihood seems extremely small. That being said, giving notice now will not validate the contract. The contract has already been validated by previous Boards as well as the current Board through their acceptance of revenue/profits per the financials and the continued business relationship. Its still an incorrect statement to say "serving notice legally validates the contract " and especially considering the facts (and absences of any valid legal arguments to support the Hoax).
  18. Where did you get that information? Definitely not on RM.
  19. Good stuff from the Board on the SD loan repayment. That eliminates a lot of things that tie the club to Sports Direct and is a much better solution than boycotts and calling fellow fans "scum".
  20. If the contract may be illegal, then the Board would be obligated to tell THEIR auditors and the auditors would need to disclose this in the financial statements as a potential liability. Given the fact that this did not happen (and the statements signed off by Dave King) and the legality of the contract was not questioned in the "gagging" order case months ago, the whole "serving notice legally validates the contract " IS A HOAX.
