  1. Are you forgetting the big SPFL meeting and the statement by the club apologizing to avoid punishment as the knives were being sharpened ready to stick in. The bottom line is unless the club or supporters groups (no laughing at the back) have a meeting with the SPFL to establish exactly what is and is not acceptable then the club risk being fined (which has happened in the past) just by scum like Tom English hearing the tune and then running to complain.
  2. Perhaps if he took some responsibility for his failings instead of hiding behind "all the boards fault" excuse. We know that previous boards were looking after their own interests rather than what was best for Rangers but that does not excuse McCulloch's lack of leadership as Captain or his constant costly mistakes in defence. If he had shown the leadership he should have and stepped aside when it was clear he was both a useless defender and well past his best the team might have fared better but he was only to happy to play his part in the McCoist old boys club. You also forget he sucks up to the likes of Guidi and Speirs. In short he gets it tight because he deserves to for his actions.
  3. Only if they play for Rangers. Referee was just looking for an excuse couldn't find one so settled for closet thing he could find, inciting the crowd my arse!
  4. We played in the English FA cup before there was any official competitions in Scotland.
  5. Spot on a wake up call which will be heeded by the players and management. The money grabber would be firing up the karoke as we speak there is no comparison with our Manager and the imposter who stood with arms crossed and a clueless look on his face last season.
  6. Give the guy a chance no point making changes for changes sake has to be a change of system and better doing that at half time. He looked just as pissed off with the performance as we are as long he isn't standing arms folded with a gormless look on his face making a pointless change at 80mins he is nothing like his predecessor.
  7. Still unable to refute my FACTS I see. Here's another one for you when people resort to name calling like saying people are "haters" its because they have lost the argument and cannot come up with an intelligent response to the points made. You're the one unable to make a valid point that's why you chose instead to call me names and make sarky comments like the one above. Grow up an deal with the fact that your opinion is not the only valid one the world and that your hero is not the man we all thought he was all those years ago.
  8. They are all FACTS! just because you can't find way to dispute any of them and have no possible come back you go back to your childish haters response. As for what you said highlighted in bold I already credited him with being a great goalscorer but that is not the be all and end all, NO MAN is bigger than the club and certainly not someone who treats it with the disrespect he did while he was in charge.
  9. Encouraging the team to play red arse when they should be training is NOT trying! Letting the team away after a an hour of two to play golf or go to Nandos is NOT trying! Leading a karaoke contest after an embarrassment of a cup final performance when he should have been tearing strips off the team is NOT trying! He didn't do anything that didn't serve him and his mates first and foremost. NO board denied him funds (he wasted £800k on Templeton!). Sitting taking a massive wage when the club is in financial trouble is NOT trying his best for the club its looking after No1. He was lazy, selfish, greedy, cowardly (not once did he hold has hands up for anything he did during his time as manager and still hasn't) and arrogant while he was manager. He was a great goalscorer but that does NOT and never will justify or excuse all of the above. You are correct in saying he was there during the worst 3 years of our existence but a BIG part of the reason they were was down to him!. That is why so many people are finished with him and they are entitled to be angry given the poor attitude he showed while in charge which was NOT befitting off someone considered a legend.
  10. Couldn't agree more. No man is bigger than the club regardless of how many goals he scored.
  11. Guys like you to stop kissing his greedy self serving "red" arse would be a start. He took the club for everything he he could get when it was at its lowest ebb and turned the first team into a piss around for him and his mates so when he treats us and our club like that why shouldn't we be angry with him. His Legend as player clearly meant nothing to him or he would have conducted himself in a manner befitting one.
  12. Thats the gamble you take to play good football. We are not ready for a higher level but do no need to be the focus it purely to win the Championship which we look more than ready for, when the time comes for a higher level we will be ready.
  13. Thoughts are you are a drama queen. We are 3 games into the season haven't lost one and you are panicking like a little girl. Wes has improved game by game and as he and his defence get used to playing with each other should start to settle down whereas Bell was like a rabbit caught in the headlights. Hibs gave us problems yesterday but got nothing so we are doing fine for the level we are at.
  14. The whole setup from top to bottom is being completely overhauled its so refreshing to the whole club pulling in the one direction with a clear philosophy in place.
  15. The only fact is McCoist was the catalyst for McDowall and McCall to get in the managers chair in the first place and all those precious stats didn't keep him in a job did they. McCall = Legend who stepped in to help the club it its hour of need but the damage was already done the players already didn't care and nothing he could say would change that (see Boyd, Foster comments when they left for proof). McCoist = Legend? who took the club for all he could in its hour of need (and still does) and then jumped from the sinking ship he ran aground before he was pushed. Those are the facts. You can quote stats all you want the above is what ACTUALLY happened.
  16. 1. McDowall was there because of McCoist so again McCall only ended up there because of him and McDowall only carried on everything McCoist had been doing so whether you like it or not it all traces back to McCoist. Give up and stop trying to scapegoat Stuart McCall for the mess McCoist made. 2. I'm not happy with McCall's performance in the playoffs either but it does not alter the fact it all started with McCoist and we need never have had Stuart McCall if he had done his job properly or at the very least had the decency to end his contract thereby allowing the money to appoint a proper replacement. McCoists greed and laziness were the catalyst for it all which is an undeniable fact.
  17. He clearly doesn't since he thought McCoist would make a good manager. He's almost as deluded as you when it comes to the wage thief.
  18. Perhaps if you could get your head out of Allys arse for two minutes you would realise McCall was only there because of piss poor job McCoist had been doing. So when you criticise McCall you might want to think about criticising the man whose fault it was we had to bring him in.
  19. They are falling over themselves to show their true colours now. There must be some route of complaint the club can take over the undeniable bias within BBC Scotland this does not happen to any other football club so why should we have to put up with it. They have made a good start but the club should not rest until BBC Scotland is either gutted from top to bottom or closed down completely.
  20. More likely his ego won't allow him to admit he begged us for a job and was told to jog on.
  21. Correction Gogzy we were better than that until Fergusons mates dragged us into the gutter and now they have reaped the unprofessional seeds they sowed when they chose Nandos over training. Fergusons words just make him a hypocrite nothing else afterall did the club not deserve better than his unprofessional attitude during the PLG era and Boozegate lets face it McCulloch etal were only following the example set by Captain Ferguson before them.
  22. Voted No. The healing process has just begun at the club and decent thing to do would be for him to move on with his life elsewhere and allow the club to do the same, even if asked back he should say thanks for the offer but time for a fresh start for all parties.
  23. The problem is his attitude. Why couldn't he go to Kilmarnock and let us all move on? He seems to think Rangers owe him a living for life. Just once can't he put the club first instead of his own selfishness.
  24. Really poor show from the club if true. He was the captain of that bunch of money grabbing wasters and in a lot of ways the worst of the lot. This would be huge slap in face at a time when we seem to having a much needed clear out why bring back one of the chief architects of failure , may as well bring McCoist back as well
