  1. If you haven't had the misfortune of sitting in Hampden listening to the wind and pish of the "tartan army" you are lucky. Endless abuse, and I mean from minute one to ninety, around the Old firm, Weegies, Rangers, the great unwashed . . . This is by no means new, it changed my mind about the national team (or national disgrace) over twenty years ago.
  2. That's a good idea - when the trouble started in the club, money wise, I suggested to a couple of staff at the club the idea of benches with nameplates on them, round at the Argyle suite towards the Copland Road . . . never heard nothing about it . . . I'd buy one.
  3. What a difference a day makes . . . Don't want to tempt fate with hand wringing and whinging . . . moving on , nothing to see here today
  4. Fucking shocking. Radio Shiteland coverage this morning mentioned this poor guy, a Rangers supporter, although they were considerably less thorough in their description of the cunts who did this.
  5. Hmm . . . looks like the whole fuckin lot are on garden leave . . . Livin in Edinburger is tough enough without the half arsed comments from the great unwashed, broth mouths and the rest Billy Davies.
  6. thank fuck . . . a reasonably cheery post ! Oh, and almost forgot, King Billy at the helm, cant really complain.
  7. I can sympathise with Ally on one point. The undermining backstabbing nonsense he has endured, rightly or wrongly, has been a disgrace to anyone associated with Rangers. This is exactly what it's like to work for a small "family run" business (the bus brothers). Regardless of who was at the helm they would have faced the same tragic outcome. As for the waters being muddied by talk of the knight in shining armour, Dave King, you really need to ask yourself - if you ran a business, and King's C.V. landed on your desk would you give him an interview? Would you give him a job? Not one of them are team players, and therein lies the problem. I for one will not be surprised if the Board resigns this week. There are times when a Board needs to be passive. This is not the time.
  8. Ordinarily I would have a smirk at this shit in the Jardine den, but, having just read about salmonds "not so secret meeting" with Newscorps Uber mensch Rupert Murdoch, during tartan week in New York - you got to wonder when this little shit salmond is going to get fingered. He is hardly an easy target to miss and his recent comments, if they had been from any other politican, would have ushered in the old P45. Still concerned that the "hertz" troubles in Edinburgh seemed to vanish when salmond stuck his neb in - no doubt there'll be a Lithuanian company setting up somewhere in Scotland, paying very little or no corporation tax with a side order of set up funding from "Wholly-Rude" chucked in for good measure
  9. You really can't make shite like this up. The sooner this cunt and Gough just fuck off, the better.
  10. speaking as someone who, as a young lad, ran up and down the empty stands at Ibrox during the Grieg years . . . think yourselves lucky you still have a team to whinge about. two years of playing diddy teams has had a detrimental effect . . . in case nobody actually noticed
  11. if those jammy bastards haven't been bankrolled on the fly - I'll eat my fuckin' hat admin for around a year and still paying tax, light, gas, staff, Policing cost, etc etc etc . . . I bloody well think not
  12. In me thirties . . . but, about who's collecting pensions, I was at a game recently and heading up in the lift to the Argyle with my youngest who stared to giggle uncontrollably and pointing at something. As I looked at the other folk in the wee lift I suddenly realised he was pointing at the guy next to me - I was standing next to big Hateley - he still looks like he could put in a half decent shift! I asked him why he was over on this side of the ground as he should be getting getting his bloody strip on and playing . . . : )
  13. the reality is that Ally would work for nothing, and, given the recent run of events the stability he has given the club by "being at the helm" far outweighs any alternative that costs. It aint perfect - but it's working.
