  1. No his buddy McCoist did it for years, and is still doing it.
  2. Anyone can see that the players on the pitch will never win this game for us. Our 'manager" will not make a change until we are beyond the 70th minute, by which time it could be too late. McDowall getting money for nothing.
  3. Clark and Boyd need a rest. McDowall waiting until it's too late?
  4. Stubbs is right. He built a team from scratch over a few months last year while we spent money on duds and persevered with outdated 'coaching' methods. Stubbs, like Neilson, is a young coach with modern ideas. The types we failed to appoint years ago. Instead we got the good old 'Rangers men' McCoist and Durrant, who along with their buddy McDowall, have set us back years. In each game I've seen Hibs play against us this season they have been the better team by far.
  5. We don't need to wait for the EGM to get McDowall off onto gardening leave. He should be sent there first thing on Monday morning (and that's already about a month later than it should have been). Put Miller in charge of the first team until the new permanent appointment is made. If we don't do this, then Hibs will take points off us on Friday and we will stumble towards play-offs from which we won't emerge.
  6. Honestly can't see us coming through the play-offs with McDowall in charge. We know there will be a new manager appointed at some stage (probably end of season?) but in the meantime I would put Miller in charge. He clearly cares about what is happening, unlike the guy with the clipboard.
  7. We won't get through the play-offs if McDowall remains in charge.
  8. And would make a better short-term coach than the guy with the clipboard.
  9. Please keep Kenny McDowall far away from the new loan signings. If we don't, it's a matter of time until their fitness and skill levels decline.
  10. I'm not talking about the long-term replacement. I'm talking about the need to get a guy who publicly grieves about the departure of his former boss, a guy who who contributed to the coaching shambles we have, a guy who announces he intends to leave - this guy remaining in charge of the team when he could be punted off to join McCoist on gardening leave and we could use someone already receiving a salary (Kenny Miller? Durie? person behind the canteen counter at Auchenhowie?) to look after things meantime. None of the aforementioned is likely to be as tactically inept and publicly incoherent as KMcD.
  11. Doesn't explain why the useless manager is put on gardening leave yet one of his useless backroom guys who makes the same announcement about his future, is allowed to stay in charge meantime. BTW it wasn't the boards who signed the players and worked their 'magic' on them with the wonderful modern coaching regime at Auchenhowie.
  12. Can someone explain to me why McCoist's useless sidekick is still in the dugout and is still the public face of our club (giving embarrassingly incoherent interviews) when he should be on gardening leave with his buddy?
  13. 1. Durie in charge short-term 2. Boardroom power battle sorted out 3. Gardening leave salary leeches paid off to go away. 4. Advertise post 5. Appoint a forward-looking, modern manager/coach who has power to gut the backroom set-up
  14. By far the worst of the very bad bunch of Scottish referees. Totally incompetent.
  15. You need to remember to update the basket after you enter the Rangers number for the second ticket holder.
  16. Thought had occurred to me. Bet McCoist is cheering them on ...
  17. Get him hunted off onto gardening leave with his buddies McCoist and Durrant.
  18. Young Telfer just scored a lovely goal.
  19. Thanks to Tannerall for the clip of Lubanski. Brings back memories. I was at the game as a boy, and I had never seen a player like him. We had a decent team, although by that stage it had become clear that Jim Baxter was well past his best. He was shipped out soon after Waddell took over.
  20. Yes, although it now seems that White wasn't so bad after all. He failed to win any trophies, but did introduce new methods, and most of the squad he built was retained by Waddell, with success eventually.
