A very strange thing to beat him with. I'm sure the scout who discovered Messi also didn't have a 100% success rate. Let's hope the next Mascherano doesn't end up at Ibrox, ffs.
I don't agree with the sentiment that we are a development club. Southampton would be a development club as they don't expect to win the league that they play in. We are a club that must live within its means whilst at the same time striving to win every game we play in. If we can get millions for a player yet still win the league we are playing in does that make us a development club or a sensible well run club? If a loan player helps us win the league or a cup then great. I want to see Rangers win that's the benefit. If a loan player helps us be a better team and to win the league then great.
Not picking the best players available in your squad seems daft, on loan or not. If a loan player has the jersey its up to the other players to get it off him. Best players possible for me.
I honestly think it will turn out to be a good thing (forgetting about financials). We now have a philosophy running through the club from kids to the first team. We are playing expansive football that is a pleasure to watch, but better teams than in the Championship may/could/will exploit. A season for the players to relax and grow into the system will do no harm at all. I think we will be more competitive when we go up as a result of this season in the Championship.
He has been a breathe of fresh air, the football has been a joy to watch. I wish the games would come round quicker and I am looking forward to see how we get on against St Johnstone. The only box left for Mr Warburton to tick is how he manages the team after their first defeat. I can see that being a while a way though.
I get your point. They also get special rates from the co-op so will find it easy to get finance. Or failing that the council will help them out. However I dont think we have to or we will overspend to be competitive and beat them.
I dont think things will be that rosy at the Glitterdome. The costs to maintain & operate breezeblock towers will be the same even though attendances are down. They have a high wage bill and will be selling Van Dick to balance their books. I dont believe the are saving their millions and I dont thnink splashing the cash will help them in any case. A royal blue tsunami is coming.
I dont think we are that far away from them at the moment. I would be very confident of winning against any team in the SPL, other than the soap dodgers, as we stand just now. A decent striker and a strong midfielder and we would be competing.
Im working today but just been told that the worksite might not be ready. Fingers crossed that dosen't change and I can get a stream to work. Cant wait for this game to start.
I went to Forida for 6 weeks with the RAF. Showing your ID got you into Seaworld for free however before the show started they announced on the mic for all the armed forces present to stand up and recieve a round of applause for being 'Heros'. The americans went mental, pure riddy so it wiz. haha.
