  1. How many arrests at Ibrox this season? Would hazard a guess that you are less likely to be arrested at Ibrox than on a casual walk through the city centre.
  2. Out of interest we must have had a good 800,000 fans through the turnstiles this season, how many instances of over zealous policing? Not saying it hasn't happened but would hazard a guess that it is a handful of examples which makes it significantly less than 1% of fans who have come across it. Need to keep this in proportion, reckon the vast majority of cops do a good job just as the vast majority of fans are fine, a small minority in both camps getting their sums wrong.
  3. Utd do have a reasonably good travelling support but home matches are shite unless it is Liverpool or a big Euro match.
  4. Sounded more like 7500 than 75000, maybe they should rid themslves of the 658,800,000 hangers on and stick to their local fan base.
  5. Both clubs get roughly 7500. We should get around 9000 to keep the percentages right.
  6. As Blackadder would say, This is totally preposterous but it might just work.
  7. In days gone by there would be 30k visiting fans in an 80k crowd at either ground, one hell of an atmosphere.
  8. I have to give up my set in BF3! Always go through the ritual of disinfecting in at the next match, totally serious on this one!
  9. I'm half English, half Scottish and 100% British, who do I support?
  10. If we ever play them again I would give them the Club Deck minus the first three rows, put a line of stewards and cops on the front row, would give them about the same number of tickets and keep them out of sight. Only problem is segregation outside which would be almost impossible to achieve.
  11. Sad indictment of the interest in football in Inverness and the general state of the SPL, for comparison Burnley play in the Championship average around 13000, similar sized town.
  12. Shite like Inverness beat us 3-0 this season so clearly 45000 fans are turning up week in, week out regardless.
  13. Got back home from the match today on the train to Preston this evening, interesting to note that there were 15 Bears on the train and only 4 wearing green. Take an Ibrox home game and the same train would have a good 100+ Bears on board. Good indicator of he relative strength of support.
  14. Hope QP keep winning and the title winning game comes at Hampden in April, 50000 bears at one hell of a party.
  15. Correct, don't wish any misfortune to Pompey though. Some people on here don't seem to grasp the nettle, not only would we remain a Scottish club if we were in the English leagues but we would become THE Scottish club in the minds of everyone across Europe and beyond.
  16. We will be moving. Simple market economy dictates that a massive club with huge commercial possibilities will be an easy sell when it comes to moving on to the next level. It does not mean dispensing with the Scottish heritage, far from it, we become the Scottish Team in the minds of Europe and beyond. Nobody will give a monkeys about the introspective rhats squirming around in the residual cesspit of Scottish football.
  17. CG has clear ambitions to put us in a position where selling tickets won't be a problem. It may take 5 years but it will happen. Fill the corners and add 6000, lower the pitch and add another five rows of seats around the ground adds another 3000. Add a third tier to the Govan would be 7000 more. Main problem is the goal post structure supporting the rooves on three sides of the ground, will need to dismantle all rooves and rebuild to fill the corners. Adding temporary terracing to either or both ends in the lower tiers could add another 4000. All in all plenty of scope for a capacity between 55k and 70k depending on how we proceed. To finance this we have to be aspirational and recognise that there are better places to be than the SPL. Biggest club in Scotland, massive traditions and history, we need to put ourselves on the global map and stop concerning ourselves with the small deluded bigoted fish that swim in the SPL.
  18. Get off your butt and stand up next home game, far too many glued to their seats.
  19. I am sure CG will be seeking to maximise revenue from all sources and that he is well aware that a City centre store is a priority. I reckon that Rangers will be marketed as a Scottish / British brand world wide in a similar way that a certain team appeals to those who wish to to display an affinity with ROI.
  20. On the train back south from Central this evening, fans from all over, one thing in common, defiance and a love for the Club.
  21. Thought we were marginally second best for 38 minutes, clear lack of self belief, change at the end of the first half and thankfully after half time, if we had played another ten mintes it would have been 7 or 8.
  22. Crowds will drop off but not dramatically. Officially just over 46000 today, probably around 38-40000 taking into account ST no shows. Still a remarkable turn out and eclipsing anything that the breeze block effigy in the east can muster. After going 18 points clear I wouldn't be surprised if the "real" turn out next week at Septic Park is under 30k.
  23. Something happening on Tuesday? I have my regular 5 a side at 7.30pm for an hour and then off to the pub.
