  1. What would you do? Chase him out of town and wait for another fairy godmother to come along and wave a magic wand?Charles Green has done well so far in very difficult circumstances, and while we can't blame some fans for being unsure of him after the Craig Whyte debacle, calling him a liar is over the top. Why don't we rename Murray Park 'Tore Andre Flo Park' as a reminder of the nonsense that got us in this mess in the first place? (Only joking!!)
  2. I think he was injured. I thought he was coming good his last couple of games. He gets criticised for his distribution but he likes to overlap more than anyone else who's played rb for us this season.
  3. Sampdoria were the 4th team. We led 2-0 in the first game against them (two Trevor Steven goals if I remember right) but ended up losin 4-2. My first sight of Laudrup playing for Rangers, couldn't believe how good he was!
  4. You'd get on well with Neil Simpson! Sorry, I forgot, he didn't get a red card!
  5. Totally agree Muirhead, yesterday was painful to watch but hopefully it will be a reality check for our manager and his players. We will win the 3rd division very soon I would hope, and rather than play meaningless games till the end of the season McCoist should experiment with our younger players. They can't do worse than some of the players on show yesterday. I don't see Charles sacking Ally and I would not like to see that happen but he should bring in another coach; Derek McInnes would be a great signing I think.
  6. are you trying to tell us Turkey is on the same line of latitude as Scotland? Wish it was!
  7. To keep Webster company in the treatment room?Just read the team news on Sky- they say 'Andy Webster fit'. Now these are three words you rarely see in the same sentence!
  8. I was at this game. I thought we played well and could scored more with a bit more luck. Cruyff's goal was amazing! Enjoyed the fireworks too!
  9. he was in that orgasm scene in When Harry met Sally, remember? Great actor!
  10. Spot on! I think our boys are doing really well in not retaliating to the treatment they've been getting, and the lack of protection from referees. I include Black in this because he has been definitely getting singled out, and before Annan he was handling it well.
  11. Great how you encourage our young boys! Dick.
  12. Remember the 6-2 game where they scored 3 goals in the first 12minutes or so, all dodgy goals but allowed to stand by Mr Dougal. Then he disallowed a perfectly good goal from Van Bronckhurst, I think it was. Did he forget he was a Rangers fan that day, or did he not have the balls to give decisions that might upset the Tim hordes? He rarely gave us any decisions, so much so that Dick Advocaat singled him out more than once. I hate the bastard, glad he's no longer refereeing.
  13. Great article! Thank you, you brought a tear to my eye!
  14. why not? the medical staff must be wondering what to do with themselves since Judas Ness left.
  15. Amato's first game, came on as sub against PAOK I think, he knelt down and touched the pitch then crossed himself. There was a second's silence, then a cheer! Needless to say, never reported!
  16. you are right; I don't think McKinnon was a regular until maybe '62-63: also Jim Baxter didn't sign until that summer, so could have been Ian McColl at left half.
  17. My first OF game was the Cup semi final replay at Hampden 1960 (showing my age here!). Davy Wilson scored first, they equalised, then Jimmy Millar, Wilson again, then Millar again to make it 4-1. The team was (I think) Ritchie, Shearer, Caldow, Davis, Mackinnon, Baxter, Scott, MacMillan, Millar, Baird, Wilson. Crowd was 70,000 plus (for a midweek game!) Rangers beat Kilmarnock 2-0 in the final.
  18. You seem to have great faith in our justice system - you have obviously never been falsely accused of something!
